“For a hotel, it certainly was refreshing. Traveling a lot you don't always get the best food selection.

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“

“Loving the calm warm welcoming vibe. I've come to learn that from Monday to Friday they do lunch specials from 12-4 PM for $8. Thankfully I made it on time for this opportunity.

Best recommend the 6 wings with fries. Have a drink like White Calw on the side. Chicken wings Flavor recommended by the bartender: The Garlic Buffalo. I truly wish I can give this more than 5 stars because this really earns 10 Stars. Nice size wings to enjoy, I did have to wait for almost 30 minutes but it was very well worth it because The way how it was cooked And prepared was with patience and passion .My compliments to the chef. If you love the taste of garlic and a kick of spice, go for it!

I love how the atmosphere is very simple, casual and not too high class. I must say this will be my new favorite spot to come by again. I feel like I can relax here letting all my stress out And embrace 90 music including our generation music.

“First time I came here they had the jazz guy singing l really liked the vibes. I ordered the Atlantic Salmon and sangria, sangria wasn’t the best I’ve had but it was ok. Food took about 45 mins to come out and my veggies were a bit burnt was a little disappointed but my salmon was delish and so was the cookie sundae!
Came back a second time with my hubby ordered the salmon again and it was perfect. My husband ordered the chicken parm with vodka sauce and it was amazing! The sweet potatoes fries are delish. The waiter we had twice was very attentive and super great. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!“

They do sell food but like any local bar that does you have to catch them at the moment everyone is ordering because its literally one person behind the bar. “I've been going to the South River Pub for many many years and I used to bartend there as well. It's my hometown bar and I love it. My mom knew the owners and i grew up with their kids and they have become like family. I particularly love karaoke night on Fridays with DJ Rob, who has become a dear friend to me over the years as well. The regulars are fun, kind and caring people and when I go there it feels like family. Like “Cheers.” They don't serve food but you can bring your own if you like. Sometimes for special events and football, Lil will make a little food buffet for the customers. It's always a fun time.“

“My first time going was today for the start of restaurant week to celebrate a friends birthday. Although there was only one woman working the bar and trying to take care of tables alone (she was very pleasant and was doing her best) I still enjoyed my time there. I must say the special three course meal was outstanding for restaurant week. The roasted pear and arugula flatbread was outstanding and should be added to the regular menu. The entree was great and the crème brûlée dessert was exceptional. Chef Shannon came out to talk to us as we were the first customers for restaurant week to try the special menu items. He created the dishes and we let him know everything was delicious. My only complaint was they needed more staff on hand to be able to keep up with the amount of patrons.Someone finally came to assist the young lady who was working alone but she could have used two additional people when they opened. will prolly b bck again before the week is over for the special before it’s off the menu.“
