“El peor restaurante en el área el encargado con la peor actitud un patán prepotente abusivo no recomiendo este lugar basura a nadie. we went to this place for dinner with the family. the manager with the worst attitude ever didn't give us the table because we were waiting for 1 more person we told him he was 3 minutes away and with he's terrible attitude said no and after that he got mad because we grab on of the menus and told us to move out the way from the bar. He was so disrespectful. I would never recommend this place to nobody.“

“This place is neat! It's also comfy, they have a small patio outside and their food is really good! We went for an event and I kept seeing people picking up pizzas. If I were local, I'd go there for pizza as well. Their bartender was very polite and didn't give me an attitude when I ordered a drink. It's hard for me to remember names, so his patience with my description was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend!“

“My wife and I have been patrons and huge fans of Chez Catherine for nearly 30 years. Last Friday, we happily celebrated our 39th anniversary there with another very fine lunch. It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. His selections of a chablis for my wife and pinot noir for me worked perfectly with the outstanding bourguignons. We finished by sharing a delicious Baba au Rhum, prepared by Stephane at tableside. Dining at Chez Catherine is always a special event to us. Everything about it is first class. If you are unfamiliar with Chez Catherine, it has been one of New Jersey's Top 5 restaurants for nearly 40 years. “New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. A wonderful experience!“

“Posted up in the center of the pub. Me and these two mad lads started drilling. Ice was about 4 inches and ol' Stout was struggling to breach through the ice. After a few minutes of turmoil he was finally able to break and we heard the glorious rush of the water gushing like a foutian out of the portal to the dark unknown. We stood there conquistadors above a murky gold; fish. We set our thrones upon the ice and readied our rods. Our mouths watering at the thought of the first fish. With bait and hand a glee in our hearts we awaited the first bite. But folks, as everyone knows, fishing isn't about the catch nor the side of the fish. But it's the spot and the friends we make along the way. We caught no fish, not even ol' Stout. But we had a splendid time, and like the conquistadors of old we left with nothing. Oh yea and there's uhh ... darts in the back or something.“

“The night before my wife's 50th high school reunion (North Plainfield, class of 1975), a large group of the attendees went to a pre-party at Ellery's. The pizza served here was pretty good, but it was a little greasy. Besides plain, they offered sausage and a few other styles. The restaurant also served wings and salad, which I passed on. The get together ended with a great selection of fancy cookies, where I really over-indulged.“

“This has been my local spot that I've been coming to for about two years now. The drinks are always ice cold and vibes are tremendous. The live bands that perform on the weekends always sound great and add to the environment of what you'd expect from a dive bar. This bar is cash only, but not to worry as they have an ATM. Vanessa, Rachel, Ava, Nichole, Lexi, Alexa, and everyone else that works behind the bar always make you feel welcomed whether it's your first time here, or you're a longtime regular.“

“Every year we take a trip or two to come to this restaurant from Rochester NY ! One year we brought friends of 12 people and went to make reservations and they were full ! Once I told them who we were and we come every year they went above and beyond and got us a private table in the back by the street and accommodated all of us no problem ! Everyone loved it there AND one of their waiters is from where we are in NY it was great to have conversations with him ! Can’t wait to go back again . The mixed drinks as in the mojitos are my favorite! The oil for dipping is perfect !“

Westbrook Bar in Bound Brook is hands down one of the best spots in the area! The atmosphere is laid-back but lively, making it perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick drink after work or spending the evening out with friends. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive — they make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit.

Drinks are strong, well-priced, and there’s always a good selection of beers and cocktails. The music and vibe are on point, Westbrook always delivers a great experience. Highly recommend checking it out!“

“For a hotel, it certainly was refreshing. Traveling a lot you don't always get the best food selection.

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“
