“Amazing food! My husband and I stopped by for Friday night dinner. We tried the fried calamari, Pad Kana Moo Grob (Sautéed crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli in garlic sauce.), Pork Chops Vegetable Garlic Sauce, crab fried rice and for dessert, the mango coconut sticky rice. “The food and service are excellent but its incredibly noisy and the further back you are the noisier it gets. I think the cathedral ceiling in the back makes it very echoey. Putting sound dampening tiles on the ceiling or hanging some tapestries on the walls would go a long way to bring down the harsh echo. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and healthy. If we decide the noise is too much we might resort to only ordering food to pick up and take home. I took off one star for the noise, otherwise its a great place.“

“To me, Thai food is like Chinese takeout. There are restaurants everywhere, but it's difficult to find a place that does it exceptionally well. On a night when my husband and I found ourselves craving some Thai food, we took a chance on the Yelp algorithm of suggestions and landed at the Thai Shack's door.

The weekday lunch special is a great deal. A light salad and spring roll are served with some preselected entrees, and it's here I have to give the peanut dressing some hearty props. I don't know what they put in that sauce, but it was all I could do to keep myself from licking that little bowl clean. For our entrees, we both went with noodles. I was initially disappointed that the serving size seemed smaller than expected, but don't let the plate fool you - it's enough. At least, it was for me because I felt full well before I reached the bottom. My beef pad see ew was incredible, with tender pieces of beef and a delectable sauce that made me want to spoon it over rice. My husband also liked his pad thai, with lots of soft chicken pieces. If we had any compunctions with our meal, it was that our noodles were a little heavily sauced and teetering just slightly on the salty side.

Service here is friendly. That, along with the cozily dressed interior, makes dining in a pleasure. I was especially appreciative that water glasses are filled from water bottles instead of tap (say what you want about food in Jersey, but the taste of its unfiltered tap water is absolute trash). The kind woman who took our order was open to small customizations (such as undressed salad and added spice in my pad see ew, which is normally presented as a non-spicy dish).“

“The food here is out of this world. Everything is so fresh, tasty, colorful, and delicious. The two sisters who run the place are very kind and again, love the food. Outside of Thailand, this is the best Thai food I've ever had in NYC!“

At first, I thought this was just a regular/average Thai food take out restaurant at a grocery store or shopping plaza. But I was wrong. “Great delicious chinese food I had pork fried rice and General Chaos Chicken with wonton soup and an egg roll . Everything was very good as far as the food . The bathroom was smelling like mold and area where you eat was ok atmosphere not great but food was great . Service was good lady brought our food to the table which was nice of her. its not a place where they have waitresses its order at the counter only to go or eat in . Place is open later than most restaurants in the area too and alot of parking on the street.“

“Always drove by it and saw advertising in our local Clipper but never jumped in until a few days ago. Three Asians cuisine, Chinese, Japanese and Thai. Had dinner with my family, my daughter ordered shrimp fried rice, my wife had Mei fun noodles while I ordered the yellow curry tofu. We all also shared sushi rolls, sashimi and hand rolled sushi. My curry dish was amazing just as good as if I had it at a Thai only restaurant. My daughter said the best fried rice she’s had and the same with my wife’s noodle dish. Plenty of different dishes to choose from specially if your family can agree on a cuisine. The service was great and attentive and the atmosphere was nice and mellow.

Vegetarian options: Tofu or just veggies can be substituted.“

“As a huge fan of Thai food, Eagle Thai has to be hands down my favorite place. I tried it once because I wanted somewhere local without going into the city and was pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible the staff is very friendly.

I ended up going again for my wife's birthday and brought the entire family with us and they were all amazing by how fantastic the food was as well as the service. We ended up liking the food so much we did catering for my birthday and again our guest were absolutely amazed by the quality of service and the great selection of items.“
