“My husband and I could not decide on what to eat for dinner since it was late. Decided to try Sweet Berry bowls in Glen Rock. We have lived in Hawthorne for 8 years and have passed this place so many times, so glad we stopped in tonight. We were greeted by Samantha and Rubby, they recommended some bowls and they were delicious!!! They both were extremely helpful and kind. I was extremely impressed by the courteous service from Samantha. This is my new go to place for Açaí bowls.“

“I get the green juices and they are good, not too gingery but there is a problem. A 20 oz juice and a 24 oz juice are really the same. Look at the pic of the juice. Note where the juice lines are and then look at the foam heads.

So note, 24 oz juice is only about getting more foam. Yuck.“

“Live Wright is a welcome addition to the very limited healthy options in the area. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the Amazing Greens juice while catching up on some work. There are smoothies and açaí bowls too. Street parking only and there a few counter seats.“

“Really decent smoothie bowl shop! I was surprised to see a smooth bowl location that could customize so easily. A lot of the places I have visited before do not allow much customization because of pre-made bowls and they never customize without charging extra. I really enjoyed that about this place! The staff here were really kind and the owner was really sweet! It was a nice quaint location with a cool ambience. It had a lot of fresh colors and accents and it gave a nice vibe. The location was perfect next to the Newport station and its close to the Hudson which Made eating with a view great! I would highly recommend the acai base. I was the biggest fan of the blue narwhal but I understand how it could be a fan favorite for those who love coconut! Overall, I'd go again and really recommend it!

“I was a early to pick up a friend in the area and as I drove by this corner unassuming yet gorgeous and clean little bakery, I decided to stop to get a latte and see what they offered for breakfast. Owner created me graciously and I ordered a ham egg and cheese sandwich on a Portuguese roll that was delicious. As I’m eating I noticed several people coming in to but their home made Pastel di Natal ( showed in my pictures) and I had to try it! It was so fresh and amazing that I ordered 10 to go! OMG you guys have to stop by and try them ?. I will definitely come back to try other things, everything looks fresh and delicious. It’s a 10 out of 10 for me so yesss; I recommend this place!“

“I’m surprised by all of the negative reviews. Maybe I’ve just gotten lucky but I’ve always had a good experience. The consistency of the smoothies and bowls is on point. My favorites so far are the Mint Condition with chocolate protein and the açaí power bowl.“

“I gave been to playa bowl over 10 times and my experience today was not good. The staff today was not very welcoming. If the owners were there today when I went they sure were not friendly. I told the cashier no coconuts and they put some in, then she says you want a lid and I said well yea, it’s to go. She didn’t even put them in a bag. I always buy the Nutella one and I always buy 2. All the other times I had no problems great staff and friendly.“

“Love it here. They give students a discount if you present your id. The food is always to die for and makes me feel healthy. Always fresh. I get and recommend the mowie wowie salmon bowl in a size regular / small. I always end up with leftovers unless I’m starved. Do NOT underestimate how much food they give you in a regular bowl. Everyone I’ve invited over always think they want a biggie bowl because their appetite is big and not one has EVER finished even half of their bowl. The original bowl has plently enough to leave you feeling satisfied. Id argue that the biggie bowl is almost share size. They give good portions for the price and the quality of the ingredients is better than any other poke bowl place I’ve tried. I hope this pit stop NEVER closes. It’s nice and clean on the inside too, never smells fishy or bad and they are nice if you treat them nice. The customers are shitty though so don’t go inside giving them attitude!!! They hired amazing staff so treat them with respect!! You don’t know who they had to serve before you showed up!! The tuna bowl is also good, it’s just a variant of the mowie wowie bowl. I haven’t ventured the menu but I’ll update when I do.

“The service and food are very good. However, in the summer, the Kearny bakery does not have air conditioning. And employees work in this place wearing long-sleeved shirts. I was wearing short sleeves and I felt my blood pressure drop due to the heat… imagine an employee working standing up for hours and hours wearing long sleeves…“
