“Had a surprise dinner for my wife's 50th birthday with 15 guests. Everything was perfect. Drinks, appetizers, dinner & service. We will be back and I'm sure our guests will as well. Great atmosphere and the wait staff was spot on with everything.“

“I am celiac. They were quick to assure me that they take many precautions when preparing a burger on a gluten free bun. They said they had only one dedicated person working the separate gluten free station in the kitchen and pulled the worker aside in front of me to tell them it was an allergy order.

Fries are in a shared fryer so I couldn’t have them but it was so nice to have a good burger option! The bun was really soft but also didn’t crumble at all. Would recommend!“

“I go here often for lunch. Plenty of variety, and fairly quick service. I always get the ribs from Tejas + kids mac n cheese. Everything else was good too, but the Thai food here is lacking (they used italian pasta for the pad see eew (not rice noodles) and pasta was very al dente both times i tried here). Havent seen if they improved for that restaurant yet but I always come back for Tejas!“

We had the plain fries and I swear they must be cut fresh. They were soooo good. The burger was amazing. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was also spectacular. “I eat takeout from Marty’s at least once a week. It’s my favorite burger I’ve ever had the Mac n cheese is fantastic I like it better as leftovers something about microwaving it. The chocolate mouse is also very good. Besides having the best burger you’ll ever eat - the staff at the Hackensack location is exceptional. Every worker I’ve ever interacted with gives the ideal customer service experience. They recommend things, they alerted me to my points and helped me chose what to use them on, they’re always smiling and friendly, and they’re always fast and I’ve never got an item wrong. I called with an odd request today, there a local guy, probably homeless but struggling even if he’s not. I always say hi to him when I see him and if I have something that can help him I try to. Today was very hot and humid he asked me for a water or of if I could grab him one, and I was in a rush. I called Marty’s and let them know I’d just picked up my order and if they could there’s someone who could use a little kindness and a glass of water. They didn’t hesitate to help and thanked me for alerting them. Most businesses today look at the customer as a source of revenue. Marty’s treats you like you’re getting a fair deal, with people who are happy to be able to serve you, it’s really refreshing.“

Aside from that, everything else was satisfactory. I hope the restaurant pays closer attention to food preparation and quality control in the future.“

“It's a great spot with a lively atmosphere. There are quite spots available if you have a large group. Reservations are important. They don't offer reservations for outdoor seating. Food wise, mostly the options are seafood based. I saw a lot of folks enjoy the tuna, salmon and lobster dishes. This place is not for vegans or vegetarians - all you get is a summer or ceaser salad with fries and crispy onions. The drinks menu is elaborate, saw a friend the perfect Manhattan. Desert wise we tried everything - key lime pie was extremely sour. Brownie sundae was decent and so was the other cherry-wine-vanilla combo. Nothing memorable about the New York cheesecake“

“Okay so I do think this is a chicken and burger joint now combined together on the outside of the building. I really didn't notice the time for the chicken place. It was any small corner lit up attached to a burger place. With that said I am not mad at it as I ordered the bulgogi burger which was so good. Very soft and flavorful and I also ordered a order of 10-piece wings. I split it between soy, garlic and sweet and spicy. Now for me I am a Korean chicken lover and I just did it fully get the full experience of Korean Chicken meaning that in every bite it is very crunchy and it is packed with the sauce flavor on top for me. I did not get that full effect and that's really why. I love Korean f and wings that are usually double fried so they get a very nice crunch and the sauce is usually nicely styled on now. There was something wrong with the sauce but I would have liked to have a little bit more of it as well as more of a crunch. I would definitely come back here. I did notice that the burger place and the chicken plays. I have menus but a little bit different. I did order from Uber eats so I didn't really notice that at the time until I really checked out your iron. They do have the tablet where you can order from as soon as you get there. That has Uber just did for both places. However I was very happy with the wings. I got 10 pieces which I think you can order. I only ordered through the bloomberger site and they were nice sizes.“

“Great pastrami sandwiches. I also tried the corned beef but didn't enjoy it as much. Corn3d beef wasn't bad just not as special as the pastrami.

Definitely stick to the pastrami.

Make sure you give yourself time. The line is long and they take their time with every customer. Very slow moving but worth the wait.“

It's so good that I wish I could buy a gallon to bring back to Minnesota with me! Jonathan was awesome, too.
