The parking provided by the restaurant was full, so I had to find a local parking spot. They manage the booths well, cleaning them up when people leave. The waitress got my order in and out, and the food got out 10-12 minutes, though I just ordered a cheeseburger. The food prices seemed typical. “Burgers and Chinese food at one place, never would have thought! Burgers were good, big and juicy, and relatively inexpensive. The "caramelized onions" were those fried onions you get from a can and not really caramelized onions. But for 10 bucks with fries and a can of soda, im ok with it.“

Quite the contrary, the quality of food is very good, the portions are of good size and the prices are reasonable. There are artisan hot sauces on each table and counter, the syrup is maple syrup only but with cool flavors like Madagascar vanilla, cinnamon, habanero and others. Also the tea, they use premium tea leaves. All of that struck me as odd in a good way. The owner John and his son Michael are wonderful. They are attentive and provide good service. Their food is excellent. I had a turkey club there that rivaled 4 star hotel restaurants. It's truly a hidden gem“

El Cabanol was in the middle of preparing their many lunchtime delivery orders but still provided a very tasty meal without a long wait. It was hot and delicious! Nice clean diner atmosphere run by a local family. Give it a try!“

The food is good I haven't had a complaint yet the prices are ok I feel like they may b a tad bit too much but with inflation in mind it's very reasonable. Not only was the coffee full bodied and delicious, but the food was equally delicious. I came with a family of 6 on Easter morning at around 10:30 am. No waiting, no huge crowd. We had French toast, beef sausage, link sausage, pork bacon, grits, eggs, a bacon omelet, chicken fingers and fries - all of which was so simply delicious. There was nothing fancy about the place and its tiny but it's places like those that come through with some yummy for the tummy. The waitress was nice, got our order on point and I'd definitely be here again. “Located at an intersection between Goffle Road and Wagaraw Road, forming a triangle, my partner and I had lunch at the Hawthorne Diner as first-timers. Upon entering, the interior was small and simple, but it had plenty of booths as well as a bar and was clean. There were a few tables in the back where we sat promptly. Their menu had everything one wanted or needed at a typical Jersey diner. There were plenty of breakfast choices, as well as wraps, sandwiches, and dinner options. We decided on something light and went for the broccoli cheddar potato skins and 1/2 tuna fish sandwich combo with salad. Good food is served in a timely fashion and at a decent price. Our server was friendly and attentive. We can recommend this place.“
