My fiancé is born and raised British and she absolutely loved the bangers and mash! The chicken schnitzel was delicious! Atmosphere inside was fun and relaxing. Bag pipe player walking around. “Went for our 16th anniversary and did not disappoint. Service in bar was top notch. Our server for dinner, Devin went over menu, specials and drink specials along with making several personal recommendations. Every recommendation he made was spot on. From the limited time Valentine’s Day drinks to the appetizer to the main courses. He was very knowledgeable about the menu in general and took the time to answer any and all questions. I had the New York strip steak with foie gras add on. Wife had Scottish salmon. We went with the delmonico potatoes and Brussels sprouts for sides. Simple yet sooooooooooooo good. I’d go back again just for the sides. THEY WERE THAT GOOD! My steak was perfect (possibly best I’ve ever had) and my wife loved her salmon. We will for sure be back again. Thank you for a great evening.“

“Neighborhood pop (and mama) bar/restaurant where I believe the owner is the chef and he makes some delicious and unique food that is consistently awesome. Best cuban sandwich i've had in the area. "Shweddy Balls" are a must try (think of a meatball but made from mashed seasoned eggplant with cheese and deep fried like a falafel).“

Village Saloon Bar & Grill • $
712 Woodport Rd, Sparta - 3.27 miles

“I've heard the term "out of body experience" before but could never truly say I've had one until I sank my teeth into a cheboygah (cheese burger for the layman's) at Village Saloon. Paired with fresh cut fries (fresh cuts for the hip) this cheboygah will change everything you ever thought was possible in culinary art. Their chilli is a meaty dense dark texture that warms the coldest souls from the darkest corners of the earth. My wife ventured into the land of poultry there by ordering a fried chicken special. All she lent me was half a wing in fear that she would run out of chicken too fast. Our server, I never got her name as she was also bartending / changing the lives of men and women who were experiencing the saloon, was nothing short of a messenger of God. Bringing food and drinks promptly and kindly and ensuring we did not faint out of pure bliss during our dining experience. All humans must enter this establishment and order a cheboygah. This is the only way to have the best in the universe. It will ruin all other boygahs for you at every place you ever get one. The fact that it comes with fresh cuts fried to superior excellence elevates your situation beyond your wildest dreams. Life begins anew when you leave here. There is nothing else but days of longing for the next time you get to go to Village Saloon.Kid-friendliness: Highchairs“

Pat's Bar Bar • $$
390 Howard Blvd, Mt Arlington - 8.01 miles

“@BigDudesBigFoods was invited up to @Pats.Barin #MountArlingtonNJ today. We were told it was a dive bar with a more upscale menu and that's exactly what we found. We started with the "Crispy Chicken Teriyaki" over #JasmineRice with #RoastedPeppers Next, we had a grilled chicken sandwich on Ciabatta with Arugula, Roasted Peppers and #FreshMootz Our 3rd course was #PatsWingshalf Buffalo and half Bourbon and we ended our culinary adventure with a #JumboPretzel because jumbo is are thing. If it says jumbo, giant, colossal or anything of that nature on the menu, we are probably going to order it. #PatsBar was clean, decorated for halloween and surprisingly had customers at 3pm when arrived after work. The food was delicious and the staff was fun and friendly and made you want to stay longer but you can only eat so much. . #BigDudesBigFoods #SupportSmallBusiness #CelebrateEveryDay #globaleats #shenanigans #BDBFCertified #ThePhoneEatsFirst #Forkyeahfoodies #BDBF @forkyeahfoodies #YouDontKnowJersey #TeaseTheDay #ClearEyesFullBelliesCantLose #ABigDudesGottaDoWhatABigDudesGottaDo #HaveYouHuggedABigDudeToday“

“Happy to say that I attended their first ever comedy night. For $40yo got an all you can eat buffet, which was spectacular, and 2 drinks. A great deal for the price. On top of that I had the opportunity to laugh with some funny comedians. It was a nice crowd, good food, and comedy. ID definitely do it again.“

“Brian is a gem, great service and Drinks. Some of the other should take tips from him, not as good but overall service and food is very good. There should be uniformity in cooking, for example the pastrami sloppy joe has been in 2 pcs ,grilled and other times it's 3 pcs toasted, other times it's not grilled or tosted and served sandwich style, 2 pcs. White bread!! Great food and drinks overall, no matter how it's served. Try them and you'll become a regular patron!!Parking: Parking is very good whole parking lotKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, try em you'll see for yourself!!Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible by wheelchair, from parking to restaurant, whether diner or tavern.“
