“I recommend the food(always awesome)! However, I don’t recommend having a delivery. I had a delivery today and asked for it to be left on my step so I could get it when I got home (prepaid for). So the man rings my doorbell (like I requested), I said thank you and thought that would be all. Not once but twice he asked if I was giving him a tip. The second time he said he was going to write it on my receipt for me. Um no. Then proceeded to have an attitude and mumble under his breath as he walked away.“

“This place has been on my list for some time and I was fortunate to visit at a downtime. Amongst a city full of pizza shops, Down North stands out among the greats. ENVIRONMENT The restaurant is relatively easy to find and seats no more than 5 or so people in the shop. The wait was a tad excessive which I credited to the food being "made with love". FOOD I love a good piece of focaccia! Another contributor commented that their pizza can be likened to focaccia which I would find to be incredibly accurate. The "Detroit" style was incredibly flavorful accompanied by a heaping of toppings(I settled on the "I'm A Boss"). I will admit the fries left a bit much to be desired but not enough to influence my rating. If you're based anywhere in North Philly between Farimount and Erie Ave, I can confidently say Down North is among the top three picks for the area. Happy eating!“

“This is my new favorite place. I really haven't tried anything besides the cheesesteaks and wings, but they are so good that I haven't browsed their other items. This is actually the best cheesesteak I've had in this area, and one of the best including in Philly. The wings are really good too. I honestly don't even like wings, but they are cooked well and they are crispy and meaty. They have this house sauce that is different than traditional wing sauce, but works so well. We got the bourbon honey mustard, polynesian and harvest apple. We weren't really looking for traditional buffalo and these were all more on the sweet/tangy side. The sauces were great to where I didn't even dip them into anything. The tater tots were good. The seasoning was on the salty side but not overpowering. The Texas toast is a nice size and has a good butter flavor. Overall it was a great meal. I'll definitely go or order. They have so many flavors it's a little overwhelming but that's a good thing,“

It's not as stretchy or as tasty as you would expect. They refused to refund the money, as well as refused to submit my order for redelivery.I spoke with the team at Little Sicily, and the owner went out of his way and called Grubhub himself to speak on my behalf. Grubhub still refused. Ultimately, I did not get my order, but I am so grateful to the team at Little Sicily for THEIR exceptional customer service. “Wow I been here once and I'm dreaming of this place still! Workers are crazy nice! Some seating inside and a restroom inside. Donuts are cake donuts, they have some hot and fresh (only few flavors) and some premade - all cake donuts I don't like cake donuts, but I loveeee the cake donuts here. The chocolate has to be my favorite! The glaze was good too. The banana was a no for me, had a weird taste. The strawberry lavender is super messy but so good and only good fresh bc all the sugar. The fried chicken sandwich is good , was a tad salty but juicy and crispy. The egg sandwich was good, had a spicy pepper jam sauce but was good! The fries were good and crispy, and huge portion! “Food is good but the guy who answers the phone is rude. Maybe get someone to specifically answer the phones who's pleasant. I ordered Uber eats and wanted to change something on my order but the app doesn't give you the option so I called as soon as I placed the order. The guy had me on hold for 5 mins and when he finally got back I told him what I wanted to change he proceeded to tell me I called too late but I didn't you had me on hold as soon as I called! He changed it but his attitude wasn't good. Get someone nicer to answer the phones.“

“Call to order ahead if you are hungry the rice platter takes 15-20 minutes to make. On the plus side it is made to order so it comes out hot and fresh. Got the mixed chicken and lamb over rice and asked for extra red sauce. Very similar to halal trucks in Philly except maybe a bit more variety in the side salad (this one had olives). The meats were a bit too salty but otherwise everything was nicely spiced. We also got the cheese deluxe fries which was basically cheesesteak toppings on fries. The fries were soggy but flavor was good. Price wise it was fair for the area but if you can make the trip into Philly the trucks are much cheaper and they normally include a drink.“
