“I REALLY want to give this place a 5. The ambience, decor, vibes, workers, etc are all so wonderful. They have a shelf of free needs. They have awesome movies playing, tons of board games, and a million other cool things..In general, I love everything about this place...except the food - this does not count the bakery stuff, which are all yummy and scrumptious.
I've been there 3 times now, though, and the food has ranged from mid to miss, which is really unfortunate. There's just too many elite vegan places around the area as well, so I generally don't choose this place as a 1st option.
So, I'd say if you're looking for a treat and some coffee and a place to hang, this place is unbeatable. If you're looking for a vegan meal up to par with this area, I can't honestly reccomend it.“

“Got some really tasty croissants here. The service was excellent. Like beyond excellent.
Loved the variety of breads. It's a cute shop that does mostly breads and bakes on site. Great place to support if you are in the area or want croissants or breads!“

“We received a box of goodies from Chocolate Carousel and they were delicious. Chocolate covered pretzels with M&Ms and peanut butter chips, cake pops and chocolate covered Oreos.😋“

“Drove down from Bergen County the other day. Let me tell you, it was worth the trip. The coffee cake just melts in your mouth. Many other delights in this bakery. The brownies looked amazing. They also have a nice selection of gluten free items“

“This bakery is ridiculous. Get to this place and enjoy it before they go somewhere bigger.
The pastries are all made with so much care and I have yet to get a bad one. They all so delicious and authentic.
The coffee…. EXCELLENT. And not overcharged like most of the coffee shops and roasters around here. My wife and I are beginning to really cherish this spot.“

“A few years ago, I began the search to find a good cake/baking supply store. Michaels is OK for last minute items but I wanted a “Go To” place. When I went to the internet, Shore Cake Supply was the 1st one to pop up. I live in North Jersey so it’s an hour or so drive for me BUT I drove there and had a “me” shopping spree. I’ve taken a class or two and even suggested to Jennifer that I wouldn’t be opposed to her opening a second location in North Jersey 😉. All I can say is just go there. You WON’T be disappointed. They are friendly, kind, helpful and MOST importantly.. honest! Oh, and I would travel as far as needed to go there. ❤️“

“What better day to visit the Macaroon Shop than on National Macaroon Day?!?!
This bakery has been around for years - since 1930! The workers were friendly and helpful. They didn’t realize it was Macaroon Day, but placed a sign on the door before we left. We hope that had many others stop by to celebrate.
There are tables inside, if you want to stay and have coffee and goodies, as we did. The chocolate covered macaroon was the best of the bunch. They also have beautiful cakes. Pricey. We found street parking easily.“

“Sugar bakeshop provided the most beautiful baby shower cake for my daughters baby shower at Half moon point grill. Not only was it delicious, it was made with so much attention to the theme. Take a look at the photo, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Five stars, cake was fresh and moist and delicious. Great job, thank you. Update ; Sugar bake shop closed and new people took over the space. They did custom sugar cookies and baptism cake delivered to venue . The cookies were beautiful and cake delicious.“

“Stopped by for breakfast after a hike around Rocky Point Trail. I had the ham and cheese croissant and my friends had the almond croissant. They were both phenomenal. I'm a savory fan so the thick salty ham at the center made me happy. The almond croissant had some chocolate and was decadent as well. The interior is so pretty with its pastries and decor. Service was quick and we were able to sit at their tables outside and enjoy our croissants in the nice weather.“

“So happy you guys reopened, a staple of my childhood! Best bagels at the Jersey Shore hands down, and now they offer delicious homemade spreads! I got the mini with Veggie cream cheese and that will be in my weekend rotation from now on. Also the entire place is sparkling clean. I can't believe its the same place. Bravo!!

“Awesome bread. The bread room is open to the public and they also do wholesale. Rustic Italian sesame seed loaf as a baguette style is amazing. Buy 3 if you want 1 to make it home!“

“Kosher bakery with everything you can think of. They offer cakes, cookies, bread, challah, pastries etc... and even sell pizza and sushi. This bakery is the go to bakery in this town and is extremely popular. The pi,za and sushi can have very long waits in the summer especially during peak hours.
Dietary restrictions: Fully kosher yashan pat n chalav yisrael
Parking: Easy to find parking on street on regular days. During peak season parking can be rough.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“

“I have had these Bundt cakes for many occasions and they are always delicious. The staff at the store is always pleasant and polite. The store is so cute and always clean and organized. Thank you making our events so special 😍“

After just 15 minutes, you have the perfect chocolate chip cookie. Moist and chewy with melted chips inside and a crisp, golden cookie finish on the outside. Delicious and made right here in NJ. Buy local, eat deliciousness!“

These bad reviews were from a year ago when they had different workers and yes, they were horrible.

She went above and beyond to answer my questions and made sure I had everything I needed. The bakery itself was clean, welcoming, and had so many delicious options to choose from.
