“The best place around! A real shining light in the heckscape. So much great food between the staggering amount of sandwich and crunchwrap options (I recommend getting a side of the kale slaw too!) and all the baked goods (I recommend the donuts!). The place itself rules with VHS tapes running all day and more art on the walls than a museum (my favorite is the duck in the top corner near the bathroom door!). Everyone who works there is a true gem of a person. A place that is actually doing right in a world of wrongs. Also it's only a short easy drive from the beach and Asbury.

Pro tip is to call in and order ahead of time!!

“Went here after physical therapy as they are in the same building. The coffee was great- lots of selections- and the food was freshly made to order and delicious. I have had breakfasts and lunches here and always been pleased. They do tend to be on the 'health conscious' side which is nice! They offer a lot of things that you don't get in regular places. They also make smoothies and fresh salads. Go there even if you aren't going to the gym, p/t or a doctor appointment!!“

“Visited here on a recommendation from a couple of people and I am SO happy I did!!! I may or may not have waited 45 minutes as it was a holiday weekend (eek!) but with how delicious everything was I'd do it all over again. The store is small, so only a handful of people can comfortably fit in there at a time.

I got so many things because I was too excited. My must trys are the cream puffs, cinnamon roll, glazed croissants, and potato turnover (think croissant dough stuffed with samosa filling!!). The cardamom bun was lightly sweet and unique, similar to the warm spices of a chai. The only thing I was disappointed in was the chocolate chip cookie, which had a crunchy texture instead of a soft and chewy one, but that's personal preference.

Despite being incredibly busy the staff was kind, accommodating, and I never once felt like I was being rushed. They made sure to answer any questions I had about the pastries and baked goods.

“A few years ago, I began the search to find a good cake/baking supply store. Michaels is OK for last minute items but I wanted a “Go To” place. When I went to the internet, Shore Cake Supply was the 1st one to pop up. I live in North Jersey so it’s an hour or so drive for me BUT I drove there and had a “me” shopping spree. I’ve taken a class or two and even suggested to Jennifer that I wouldn’t be opposed to her opening a second location in North Jersey 😉. All I can say is just go there. You WON’T be disappointed. They are friendly, kind, helpful and MOST importantly.. honest! Oh, and I would travel as far as needed to go there. ❤️“

“What better day to visit the Macaroon Shop than on National Macaroon Day?!?!
This bakery has been around for years - since 1930! The workers were friendly and helpful. They didn’t realize it was Macaroon Day, but placed a sign on the door before we left. We hope that had many others stop by to celebrate.
There are tables inside, if you want to stay and have coffee and goodies, as we did. The chocolate covered macaroon was the best of the bunch. They also have beautiful cakes. Pricey. We found street parking easily.“

“Sugar bakeshop provided the most beautiful baby shower cake for my daughters baby shower at Half moon point grill. Not only was it delicious, it was made with so much attention to the theme. Take a look at the photo, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Five stars, cake was fresh and moist and delicious. Great job, thank you. Update ; Sugar bake shop closed and new people took over the space. They did custom sugar cookies and baptism cake delivered to venue . The cookies were beautiful and cake delicious.“

“Kosher bakery with everything you can think of. They offer cakes, cookies, bread, challah, pastries etc... and even sell pizza and sushi. This bakery is the go to bakery in this town and is extremely popular. The pi,za and sushi can have very long waits in the summer especially during peak hours.

Parking: Easy to find parking on street on regular days. During peak season parking can be rough.

They also offer good selection of ice cream flavors and toppings. They also offer indoor snd outdoor seating. I decided to try the combination of s brownie with a Nutella chocolate chunk cookie & ice flavor of caramel pretzel fudge. It was delicious, with so many possible combinations you really can't go wrong. During summer its a very popular spot so lines tend to build up but they move quickly. Prices are reasonable so it won't break the bank. If you're in the area definitely worth stopping by.“
