“Better Mexican food than I expected. The tamales were so good and moist. My torta was delicious and my daughter enjoyed her tostada de tinga. It was a bit spicy for her but she ate it anyway because it was thst good. The guacamole was the way it should be. Smooth and creamy.“

“We ate there last night. It is an upscale restaurant with white table clothes. You should eat on the patio facing the marina. Two of our dishes were very good- the flounder and the lobster ravioli. They had Slacktide Pale Ale on draft, which is great. You need reservations here, even during the week (in-season.)“

The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is just as excellent. This cozy spot is a hidden gem for breakfast and lunch. “Stopped in while spending a long weekend at the shore. Local hot spot for sure as they still had a good crowd despite being off season. The wings are definitely a must as they were well seasoned and a nice size. I had the stuffed flounder while husband had the seafood combination. Everything was tasty and the portion sizes were good.“

“We have been here several times. The food is delicious. Spouse has gluten allergy and the staff is EXTREMELY careful and hand deliver her meal separately. She has NEVER had an issue. Mac and cheese and pulled pork is her favorite. Tonight a vacationing family was dining in. A young man ordered a sandwich that had the kitchen sink on it. It was fun to watch him try eating it. He was 1/2 way done before we left. But was slowing down. I hope he made it. The staff is always top notch and it’s a fun place to relax and have great food. Try them. You won’t be disappointed.“

“We threw a joint 60th/30th birthday bash at The Bellevue Tavern in their private room, and it was an absolute blast! The private room was gorgeous — big surround windows giving us tons of natural light, a dance floor, and tables that worked perfectly for groups from 4 to 10.
The staff crushed it, super attentive servers and a bartender who kept everyone happy… our signature cocktails were premade and ready to roll — no waiting in line!! The food was amazing, plentiful and delicious- especially the crab cakes. Plus, we got to bring in our own DJ and dance all night (though they would’ve piped in music if we wanted).
Special shout-out to Dennis, the owner, and his son, they were fantastic from the time of booking straight through to the very end of the party. They (along with the servers) constantly checked in during the night, totally hands-on and making sure everything ran smoothly, but never in an intrusive way. Our guests are still raving about it. If you’re looking for a spot to celebrate, this is the place. Bellevue Tavern nailed it!“

“Stopped by to pick up some shrimp for my first attempt at a seafood boil and this place had everything super fresh and the price was lower than we expected for Jersey Shore. Ended up getting 4 pounds of peeled shrimp, 2 bags of crab legs/claws and fried flounder sandwiches that were also delicious. Our boil turned out amazing all of our guests raved about it. Could have even gotten all of our produce here if we wanted to they had everything.“

We went an hour and a half before closing and our waitress kept saying they would be closing soon and giving a terrible attitude to us throughout our whole meal. I’ve never had such bad service. The service was extremely disappointing and made my family uncomfortable throughout our whole dining experience. The waitress was outright rude and hostile. The food alone is the only reason I would ever go back. Hopefully they get some new staff“

“First time stopping here. Not much to look at outside but once inside the newly renovated bar is great. It is open, clean and plenty of tv's with multiple games on. Great place to watch sports. It is very loud even when it is not busy. Food was just ok. They make homade chips that are crunchy slices of potatoes with absolutely no flavor. The tuna steak sandwich is a good size of tuna but without flavor and real fishy. The salmon wrap was very good. The waitress was awesome and pleasant.“

“Started going to Mrs. Brizzles about 7 years ago. The owner Mike & his wife are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet. Not only are their sandwiches huge, so are their personalities. Our entire family have made it a point to get to Mrs. Brizzles while vacationing at the Jersey Shore. You will not be disappointed! Would give them 6 stars!“

“I have been going to stone harbor pizza for years. When the Reeds took over, the pizza got considerably worse, but I was pleasantly surprised this year when they must have changed a recipe and everything tasted amazing. The restaurant has a wonderful view from the outside and the service was fantastic.“
