“I just bought an order of food from this place, Peking House, located in Sunset Ave for 3 of my 4 family members and WOW! Everything was absolutely delicious and perfect! The lady at the counter was very pleasant and professional. She took my order, spoke to the 2 chefs, and they got right onto making my order. When I got home, me, my wife, and her mom dug in and WOW! Everything was absolutely delicious! This will now be my new go to place for Asian food.“

“Hot Sichuan has become my go-to for Chinese takeout in the area. Can’t go wrong if you stay with the Appetizer, Sichuan Specialties and Chef’s Specialities sections of the menu. Legit Sichuan place and spicy. The people are super friendly here and service is quick.(I’m taking points off the atmosphere because it’s not a sit-down place, but it’s not relevant anyway.)“

“My go-to Chinese food spot for take away and delivery. The food is always fresh and flavorful but not overpowering; I want to use the term clean to describe their flavor(s). Their portions are very generous regardless of the size ordered and it’s consistent, you always know what you’re taking home with you. They also have really good rice, the consistency is top notch, slightly sticky and cooked to perfection . I recommend the Shrimp w/lobster sauce (I have had better, but it’s good), chix/broccoli, Mongolian beef, any of their curry dishes, and their dumplings (they’re delicious!)“

“This is a typical Chinese takeout place with all the familiar dishes and lunch menu items at a typically fair price. Staff is friendly. I wish there wasn't a 10 dollar minimum for credit cards (who carries cash?) but that's not their fault. Food is exactly what you'd expect if you've ever had "hole in the wall" takeout before.“

“I always order from Eastern Empire for delivery when at work when I crave Chinese food. It's the ONLY Chinese restaurant I trust with fresh delicious food and no salty, greasy, sloppy food.
All dishes are classic tasting and not overly ANYTHING. It's JUST RIGHT. Kind of hard to find that in my own experience.
My absolute favorite is the steamed chicken with broccoli with extra chicken, garlic sauce on the side for a little kick and your choice of plain white or brown rice and their wonton dumplings are the best tasting I have ever had. Order an egg drop dumpling soup and you'll remember this post, trust me. Or you can order a lunch special with pork fried fried rice but that's on your own personal preference.
Hands down one of THE best Chinese food experiences I've ever had and WOW have I had A LOT of disappointment when it comes to terrible Chinese food. For those who know, you know what I'm talking about. You've either got it, or you don't. 👍“

“This is not a typical fast-food Chinese restaurant that uses the same vendors for all its supplies. Panda House actually uses fresh ingredients and prepares almost everything in-house. Fresh delicious crab rangoon, melt in mouth tender mango chicken, savory flavorful mushrooms, bigger, more tender sweet/sour chicken. “Best takeout Chinese food I've found in the area so far. Fantastic white meat sweet and sour chicken, which was crispy with a side of sweet dipping sauce, and great pork fried rice. Szechuan chicken was also very good although a little sweet and comes with a lot more vegetables than meat. They did forget the rice with our order so check the bag.“

1. We had Wonton soup. This was very good. Instead of the normal thick Wonton wrapper with just a little bit of pork, this soup had 4 dumplings that had a good amount of pork inside a thin rice wrapper. The broth was nice too.
2. Also had the Hot and Sour Soup. It was just okay. Could have been a little more spicy and had more ingredients.
3. The eggroll was good, especially for the price. They give you 2 large rolls for $4. Would have just need 1.
4. I had the Schezwan Duck. It was very good. Maybe it could have had a bit more sauce and be more spicy.
5. My spouse had General Tso's Chicken. Very good.
6. Service was very good. The waiter was very attentive.
So I will come back here. Just need to ask for more spice next time.“

“Now Little Szechwan GoGo. I’ll start with a wonderful young waiter named Jordy. He was literally our guide for the meal at lunchtime. Although I don’t like to eat the fried noodles and duck sauce Americans love so much, there were none. When I asked about that Jordy said they were making them. They make them fresh! The soup broth is some of the best I’ve had, also made on premises. Many good and reasonable lunch choices. Jordy is so knowledgeable about chinese food in general. It was a lovely experience. They offer complementary ice cream for dessert. The pistachio has no food coloring and it actually has pistachios! Excellent all the way round.“

“In the past I've only gotten Wonton Soup to go from Yummy Yummy, after trying several other places nearby didn't measure up, and it was always perfect. Tonight I decided to order something different AND have it delivered. I was craving Roast Pork Lo Mein, Roast Pork Fried Rice and a Pork Egg Roll, so I went to their website from my cell. I didn't have to deal with downloading an app, ordering was a breeze! I gave specific instructions to call me when they arrived at my building so I could buzz them in, and gave them directions to my apartment. Since our landlords fired the Concierge a few years back, getting food delivered to our apartment door has been a nightmare and a near non-occurrence. I was called by the Yummy Yummy delivery person, I buzzed the front door to let them in, and they were literally at my apartment door around 25 minutes after I placed my order. The gentleman was VERY nice, the food was HOT, VERY generous portions and... DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend Yummy Yummy, if I could give 10 starts I would!“

“My wife and I patronize our favorite restaurants, usually for a specific dish that they serve that is better than similar dishes offered elsewhere. Every Thursday we go to Szechuan Tokyo specifically for the Negimaki, the Japanese dish consisting of broiled strips of beef marinated in teriyaki sauce and rolled with scallions. While it is not equal to the Negimaki to which I was accustomed when living in New York, it is the best to be found anywhere around this neck of the woods. Since it is BYOB, we usually stop at the Foodtown, located in the same strip mall, to pick up a bottle of Sake Wine to complement our meal. The service here is excellent - very friendly, fast, courteous, and efficient. The salad and miso soup, which are included with the meal, are always fresh and very tasty. My wife and I each get a California Roll, which is also quite good, as an appetizer before eating the Negamaki entrée. Every course arrives at the table at just the right time - never rushed. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable for such an enjoyable dining experience.“
