“I have had two bridal showers at Portofino in Oak Ridge, and not only did everyone love the food, but Nancy and the entire staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to help you in any capacity that they can. I highly recommend Portofino either for lunch, dinner or any kind of event you have whether it is big or small. You can't go wrong with Portofino, I can't say enough great things about the staff and restaurant!“

“I was looking for a place to hold a small(er) afternoon party for about 60 friends & family members, and McQ’s came highly recommended for great food, wonderful atmosphere, and top notch service. They did not disappoint. The general manager, Alexis was a pleasure to work with, and was helpful with menu choices, and whatever additional asks I had. (A table area for a display, AV hook-up for a slide presentation, and complimentary drink “coupons” for my guests. The entire staff (including the kitchen) was friendly, and determined to make this a fun (and delicious) event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I give them 5 stars 🌟 out of 5.“

“This was our favorite restaurant for years when we lived in NJ. We were in area last week (after 15 years). WOW - the menu, the food, the cocktails, the service and effort put into everything is still FABULOUS! Our dinner on Friday was so good, we ate there again on Saturday night. “We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding at The Windlass and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We were having a Christmas wedding and the Windlass was decorated so nicely for the holidays! It fit the vibe perfectly! Donna helped us plan our dinner every step of the way, promptly helping us with any questions we had. The waitstaff was excellent, food was delicious, and the lakefront location was gorgeous! We highly recommend the Windlass for any dinner party you may be having or even just a night out. We’ve also eaten at the restaurant on a normal night and had a great experience as well!“

“Stopped into Angelo’s for brunch as it seemed to be the only eatery opened on Christmas Day in the area. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and by other staff members. Our server, Nelly, gave us plenty of time to review the bountiful menu. When we asked if the chicken noodle soup was salty, she was so kind as to bring us a tiny cup for us to sample , which prompted us to order since it was well flavored, and filled with chunks of chicken. Other dishes we ordered were the BBQ wings, vegetable omelettes, and avocado burger. Our party very much enjoyed everything we ordered and they didn’t skimp on the portion sizes. Even the adults couldn’t finish the vegetable omelettes with home fries/fruit and toast, and had to doggy bag. The amount of avocado on the burger was outrageous; looked like they served a whole fruit’s worth. And Nelly was the perfect server, coming by occasionally to check in on us, and refilling our coffee. So happy we came across this gem of a diner.“

“My wife and I came here on Friday. We didn’t have a reservation but they allowed us to sit anyway. The food was good but definitely could’ve been better. Our server was Sydney. She was very good and attentive when it came to our table. The restaurant is currently being renovated and Sydney told us about the company’s plan for the renovations on the restaurant.“

“Practically ran in there for a last minute super quick dinner which is always a risk. 😅 Our server, Amelia, heard all that, and was EXCELLENT! Sweet, attentive, accurate, helpful (in guiding us to quick-to-table options), ahead of us on to-go dessert and coffee prep, I honestly can't remember the last time we got such awesome service. We didn't time it, but I think we were fed and outta there in under 45 minutes. More than a server, she was a true HELP. The food was good and I suggest you ask for Amelia when you go. 💜“

“After reviewing some of the bad reviews I noticed that most of them are a year or older. I have eat in and take out at this location several times and the food is always tasty hot and fresh. The decor is beautiful and love the fireplace aroma. It's not very common to find an establishment this clean and neat. Definitely coming back love their lunch specials“

“Once again the hubs brought REAL pizza back home to PA! The selection of specialty pizza slices is absolutely insane, the garlic knots are the size of your head, and the rice balls are absolutely phenomenal. Love when he stops and today we FaceTime’d and I got to pick my own slices!!!“
