“Went for lunch on 1/28. Ordered the turkey BLT and the new grilled chicken, bacon avocado sandwich with ranch and bbq sauce. Both were very good and as expected.
The shortfall was the Matzo ball soup. Came out with literally no flavor. The broth was like something out of a can (I’ve had better canned broth) and bright yellow. Nothing to add extra flavor, I guess gone are the days when it had celery, carrot and onion included, at least here.“

“As a newcomer to Waldwick, we’ve been exploring local restaurants to celebrate our move — and this charming spot definitely stood out. I haven’t been in the U.S. for very long, but this place gave off such a nostalgic, classic diner vibe.

Even though we visited early in the morning, the restaurant was already bustling, which really showed how much the locals love it.

I asked for my French fries to be extra crispy and they were delicious. After driving for almost 5 hours, sitting in rush hour traffic and construction, this diner made our day and on a really great note.“

“Looking for a place to eat some Spanish food in the area, we gladly end up here. Service from the only waitress that night was exceptional and very professional. The place is big and I believe because it was late at night was almost empty, I.saw a lots of take out orders do. Now here you will find the typical freezers/coolers with all kinds of colombian sodas, desserts and what not. They do have a good variety in the bakery section. And the food was surprisingly good with a good flavor and presentation. Prices were reason too. Overall if we ever come back to this area we will be paying a visit to this place again“

As far as chicken n Waffles d*** fuk unless u specify fried chicken and waffles, u will get tenders as for the gravy stupid for ur chicken, ur supposed to use syrup with this plate. If you did get fried chicken the cost would go up, duhh let me guess u would b**** about that to. It's across the street from Harlen Hospital, which is good for people coming to visit from far away and need somewhere good to eat nearby.“

Happened again yesterday when we called in a pick up and 2 of the 3 items ordered were wrong and the wrong higher price was still charged. “State Line Diner is already, by far, my favorite diner in the area. The food is consistently delicious, the prices are fair, and every server is sweeter than the next. I didn’t think they could get any better—until they found my wallet and kept it safe for me until I called more than 24 HOURS LATER. I’ve been battling a nasty cold and completely out of it! They were truly my saving grace. I would be remiss not to take this opportunity to share my well-deserved praise and let them know how grateful I am.

“We could not wait for the Ridge to reopen and it did not disappoint! The renovations have really taken it to the next level. It was our first time back in since they were closed and we had a wonderful experience. Our server knew the menu in and out and looked happy to be work. I started with French onion soup, it was delicious. For my meal I got a grilled buffalo chicken wrap and it was spot on. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the wrap, the lettuce, and the tomatoes were all fresh as could be. My wife got a gyro bowl and instead of gyro meat, she substituted with grilled chicken, it was excellent. The coffee is great, the staff was friendly, and the food was aces, we're so happy the Ridge is back!“

“While running errands down Broadway, I stumbled upon the Bus Stop Diner on the corner of Broadway and W 135 St. I went in and ordered brunch: an omelette, a side of fresh avocado, black coffee, and a croissant. It was superb! I have been back a few times since then and the food never disappoints. From the classic American burger, to the flavourful Greek specialties, this diner has something for everyone. They also serve Latin dishes, which I highly recommend. The drinks are great, too. Try the margarita and you'll see what I mean. Since I have a sweet tooth, I had to try the desserts... such a treat! Their service is prompt, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. Also, while dining in, it caught my attention the diversity of the clientele, a truly mini representation of the cultural quilt that the City is famous for. If you're in the area, you need to stop and experience their food by yourself!“
