The chicken soup served Friday night was absolutely superb and above expectations when being served from a commercial kitchen! It was hearty and hot along with the matzah balls and noodles!For all three meals (Friday night, Shabbas lunch and Shalesh Suedes) the courses were plated nicely.We have a number of family members that required strict gluten free options which was met absolutely beyond expectations! “I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and wanted to pick up some brekkie. I found Bagel Nosh close by. It was a Tuesday at around 9 am. I called ahead for pick up and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes, and piping hot. I ordered a sausage and cheese on a toasted everything wheat bagel, which hit the spot.l. Some places will only give you one sausage patty even when you don't order it with egg but this one came with two. The bagel itself was pretty good and they have more options than most places. It's a pretty heavy/greasy brekkie but you get a bang for your buck here, and it's nice for a once in a while treat.“

“I recently attended the catholic daughters of the Americas Court, Saint Anne. 100 th Anniversary.The entire staff was on point, swift and courteous!! Our food was delicious. The view overlooking the Hudson and the TZ bridge was beautiful. We were waiting for a rainbow!! Decor was so tastefully done. ? Can’t wait to go back for another event.“

“I had my entire wedding here at Old Tappan Manor. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. This place is so magical and beautiful. It truly made the wedding look like a luxurious and grand wedding. The venue alone is absolutely gorgeous. The overall opinions from my guests about the food was tasty and excellent. The wedding Coordinator- Vincent was superb. He was always very responsive and so accommodating. My bridal assistant was always around and the best help. Selection of food and liquor options, our liquor luge was a huge hit. I told them to not run out of jameson and they understood the assignment! They made sure we didn’t run out. I was extremely happy. My family and friends had such a great experience and they were so in love with our venue. I would give this place a 10 out of 10.“

“This is such a great place. The food is wonderful the atmosphere is great and service is out of this world. I would recommend if your sick or just a soup lover to get their chicken and rice soup. Its thick and hearty with shredded chicken. The fresh mozzarella is like 10 dollars for this small ball but worth it. They make great spaghetti sauce and have wonderful sandwiches too but I'm cutting back on bread so I can't say I've had them that much“

Aditya was taking care of our table and he did a phenomenal job in taking care of all the individual requests pertaining to diet restrictions, choices and requirements. While dal Bukhara is their famous dal, dal fry was not far behind either. It was well cooked and flavorful. The palak chaat is definitely a must try as well. A ton of variety to choose from. “Wow. I ordered a Breaded Chicken wrap, which came with Fresh Mozzarella and Vodka Sauce, as well as a fried rice ball (arancini) and a side of that delicious vodka sauce to dip into. I was shocked at how hefty the wrap is, and how delicious the flavors were. Absolutely filling and a great value, and again, the flavors were excellent. I’m sure their other foods are delicious as well!“

“What a gem Congers and all of Clarkstown has with Steve's! I recently showed up a few minutes past closing and all the lights were out. I was sitting outside in my truck deciding where I'd go to find what I needed. Before I could leave, Steve opened the door and asked if I needed anything. He invited me in, turned on all the lights, and was happy to help me out rather than see me drive away.Steve and his staff are always eager to please, their product is incredible, and it's a pleasure to support their business.“

Unfortunately, the owner (a super nice gentleman) has a group of consistently miserable people working for him. Ordering anything, especially asking for no lettuce, you will get an exasperated look , followed by a look of contempt at the end. Sad to see these people have come to work here from wherever they're from and feel entitled enough to treat this man's customers that way. So if you want really good food and a scowl doesn't bother you, try this deli out the food is consistently fresh.“

I spoke to many caterers but then I would have to coordinate balloons/decorations with another vendor...and then I spoke with 8th Day Caterers. It was just an email exchange. They are always friendly and quick with my order.They have Coffee Roasters coffee, a favorite of mine, but they rarely make decaf, if that's what you're after.It is a tiny shop with limited seating, you'll probably be more comfortable in your car or back home, but there's always news on the tv to keep you amused, should you sit and eat.Park in the Rite-Aid lot or on the side street. They're 2 blocks from the train, and there's plenty of small places to shop or investigate nearby.“
