I reached out to the restaurant in advance to make the reservation and the staff was incredibly helpful answering questions and making sure that the reservation was correct. I then was able to follow up and pre-order appetizers for our group and the staff at Agricola made great recommendations that everyone loved.

Our dining experience was incredible and with amazing service from Marco everyone was thoroughly impressed! The food and drinks were phenomenal which added to the experience!

Additionally Agricola made the night very special writing a card for my Fiancée and I and presenting us with a congratulatory dessert!! I would highly recommend Agricola to anyone and especially for special occasions or celebrations!!“

“The quality of the goods is second to none. We catered our entire Thanksgiving dinner from the Shrewsbury location and it was top tier in all respects. It’s not just the Italian specialty items that are excellent, it’s the whole range of prepared foods. The meat and fish departments are like the neighborhood markets of my youth. The employees are courteous and available and knowledgeable. The people who work there care about the customers and seem to like their jobs. If you’re a food person (whether you like to cook or just eat - for me it’s both) don’t miss this place. I love it even for regular grocery shopping. One note: you get what you pay for and here you get a lot so expect higher (but not insanely so) prices. It is well worth it.“

“My team had a lunch booked today and stepping into L’Allegria was a beautiful surprise. I booked the restaurant based on the menu and ratings, plus parking looked easy. Without planning it we had a private room where we could celebrate the departure of one of our colleagues. Alana took great care of us and the food was delicious and well executed. Temperatures were perfect on the food too. The zucchini blossoms and homemade gnocchi were the best I’ve had in YEARS. The chef and restaurant team are to be commended. “Great quality bread, pastries and dips, but the coffee is on the pricier side. A large filter coffee was over $6 and was rather small so not sure if I was given the wrong cup. Highly recommend the cheese and mushroom croissant and labneh though!“

Since I found it, it has become a staple in my life. “I loved working at this restaurant so I still enjoy going here but I feel like it's kinda going downhill. The service with our waiter, Matt was great. He was personable, friendly and helpful. Dinner wasn't bad but there's often a mix up, missing something and tonight foreign object. Management was helpful but I feel like the standards aren't what they were.“

“The green drink was the worst thing I ever drank in my life BUT WHY is it that days after my cleanse is done I am still drinking it?! LOL The first day was so hard for me but in hindsight I must have really had a lot going on in my tummy. I thought that the protein shake and the green juice were a punishment. By the the second day I was having a bad day but could tolerate the diet more. Third day I woke up feeling better than I have in years. It's been a couple days after my cleanse and I have actually continued to feel good and keep the weight off! That never happened to me before on other cleanses, I would always gain like 2lbs back over night. Here I am going back for more green juice and even got my husband on it! It's sorcery I tell you, thanks Chef V!!“

“Roman Gourmet has been around a long time and they have delicious pizza and other Italian specialties. When you come here for pizza, it's as if you walked into a time warp - the pizzeria looks like it's from another time, but they have amazing service and always with a smile. If you order a pizza to go, you know it'll be ready within 30 minutes, not like some of the other pizzerias in the area. A great place!“

“I used to come here all the time in college, circa '98, '99. I haven't been there in quite a few years, but decided to stop with my son the other day. I ordered a Taylor Ham and cheese on a toasted plain bagel and he had a plain bagel with cream cheese. It was the best I've had in years!! Now my son is asking me everyday to take a ride up there. Glad to see the quality remains the same! We'll be back........frequently! The Howard Stern on an Everything Bagel was my go to in college. I'm sure it's still amazing.“
