“It is a friendly family business. We ordered hibachi, tom yum soup, and agedashi tofu. The hibachi was okay but a bit greasy. The agedashi tofu was very greasy. The tom yum soup used celery and carrots instead of the expected ingredients (i.e. no galangal, lemongrass, or lime leaves were detected). Thankfully, the soup was not greasy. Overall, though, most of the food tasted like greasy Chinese food (with some MSG and without douchi or shitake), and I would give it fewer stars, but it was a good amount for the price, and still edible after rubbing some grease away. I suspect the sushi is better but don't like raw fish. It came within 10 minutes despite other patrons being there, including pickup orders. I wouldn't return here, mostly because we almost ran someone over while driving there, who suddenly exited his car while he was driving in the middle of the street, and the food was not my type.“

They have several tea options, one of which is the Flower Tea, a beautifully fragrant mix of organic leaves of jasmine, rose, lavender, chamomile and marigold which my daughter and I found to be soothing and totally hit the spot on a chilly rainy night. We would meet at the sushi bar and get to say hi to the regulars...felt like home. The owners are amazing, welcoming and remember their customers...what we like and don't like. I never had to tell them I wanted no ginger or a diet coke because they remembered exactly what I like. The fish is so fresh and the menu is very creative. The sushi chef puts his heart into every dish and is so happy for you to come up before you go to let him know how you loved your meal. I felt that everything that we ordered was decent and fresh. The only thing that bothered me was how rushed the service was because we came in close to closing time. Kiwi and pineapples were super sweet and juicy.. strawberries and cantaloupe not so much. All in all everything was yummy EXCEPT the lobster... didn't like the mushy texture at ALL...worth the money.
