Everything is made to order!!! We got a Chicken parm pizza with vodka sauce well done.... They told us 25 mins. Went to pick it up and was chatting with someone who seemed to be the owner. (Didn't ask) I said this is our first time ordering from you, she said your going to love this pizza. She then said I'm sorry it's taking so long with the ricotta... My mind intrigued I said for what, she said, going in the vodka sauce..... I wish I had a picture, but we absolutely destroyed it. Huge chunks of chicken cutlets as well! I recommend not to walk or stroll but RUN to get this pizza! Highly recommend and definitely didn't disappoint I will be back. Also got a list of their specials, which change weekly/biweekly as I was informed.“

Now the food… I had the special, “The Gobbler” and it was unbelievably tasty. The crunch from the toasted bread, the flavors all together were a symphony on my taste palette. My gf got the “Toni Ann” and she couldn’t talk while we were eating together because she wouldn’t stop stuffing her face. After she said the chicken cutlet was cooked perfect, mozzarella was fresh, peppers were exquisite. Overall experience was just mind-blowing. I’d recommend Ferraro’s to any person, local or travelers, you NEED to stop and eat here.“

“Wow was it busy at lunch. Long line and I thought it would move quicker so make sure you aren’t in a rush. I went with the italian tuna special sandwich. It was good but found it a little dry. It also needed more acidity. The staff works clean which is always good to see. I would come back to try another sandwich. The antipasto salad was good. Nice balance of acidity and saltiness. There is street parking and I didn’t have a hard time getting a spot. Not dying to come back but if I was in the area I would. 3.5 stars is about right.“

“When we decided to make a reservation here I was concerned because the parking situation in Madison is difficult. IlGoccino has parking in the rear of the restaurant so it was fine. The staff were warm and welcoming and they honored our reservation on arrival. The food was excellent - the salmon cooked to perfection and the chicken was tender and delicious as well. We certainly will return.“

A contender for the best lasagna I have ever had(and I have eaten at some great places in Manhattan), and the crab cake and shrimp were extraordinary as well. I had the chocolate mousse cake and my fiancee had the tiramisu, both were great for our individual palates. I like intense chocolate flavor, so it was perfect for me. The tiramisu was light and had a great balance of flavor. All in all, we had a great experience. “Been going to Mediterranean Grill for years. First time since they did the place over. Looks very nice. Crisp and clean and very warm and friendly atmosphere. Food is always on point, staff friendly and attentive enough to not be overbearing. Wish we would have sat outside on the patio, it was a great night for it, but the entertainment indoors made us glad we did not ask to be moved. Always a pleasure to see Tom. Spent many a night with friends at the bar chatting and enjoying whatever special drink he would make us.. Great host !!“

I ordered the butternut squash ravioli, perfect for the season! The owner was so friendly and, after overhearing how much we enjoyed the cheese with figs and prosciutto, he brought us an extra plate on the house. You can tell the chef is always consistent, he truly cares about his craft. “Flew in for a work trip this week and we decided to order Gencarelli's Pine Brook last minute through UberEats. I took these photos midway through the meal. Being a vegetarian, and without seeing clear labeling on their menu, I called the restaurant ahead of time to find out what was safe to order. The guy I chatted with (possibly the Manager, Walter?) was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure he got me the right info for dishes, and communicated with the cook after we ordered to avoid any mix-ups. All of the food (cheese ravioli with parmesan, garlic sauteed spinach, beet salad, plain rolls) was fresh and the quality was exceptional. Portions were large and I was able to eat on them for a couple days. The plain cheesecake was literally the best I've ever had in my life. 🙌 I'm still dreaming about it and wish I could have it shipped to TX. I definitely recommend Gencarelli's Pine Brook for a delicious night out or even a relaxing night in. Can't wait for my next visit to NJ!“
