People come gor the ice crwam. Good service. Always friendly. Lits of parking and covered tables to eat. Been here in town for decades.“

“Yesterday, my wife and I went looking for a vegetarian or Health based restaurant, and found health is wealth.

Immediately, when I walked in, I could tell it was owned by a Caribbean or West Indian person. The atmosphere reminded me of the islands.

We walked in and began a conversation with a customer at the counter and asked her about what were some of her favorite dishes and whether she was a regular patron. She said she had been buying food from Health Is Wealth Restaurant for many years, and she began to list all the food that she liked. It was too many to number.

A few minutes after I was introduced to the owner, Anthony, and his two sons, who were running the place; I have to say that my wife and I have eaten in more than 200 places in the past two years - Not all
Health based.

This was the best, most tasteful vegetarian/healthy food that I've ever tasted.

Though we are not vegetarians or vegans and we try to eat as healthy as we can, I also said to Anthony that this was better than many restaurant foods that we've had.

I tried what they would call the BBQ and the jerk chicken. We also tried:

- the Rasta pasta
- the cabbage
- the rice and peas
- the bean burger
- the sweet potato fries
- the plantain
- a few other things

I have to say this is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I said to Anthony that you have a new customer, and you will see us again.

Also loved the pineapple, lime and kiwi smoothie with veg protein. The best!

note: our bill was a nit higher than normal because we also bought a special detox and parasite cleansing drink/flush.“

She was also incredibly accommodating to our guests with food allergies, making sure everyone had delicious options and felt included and cared for.

And the food… INCREDIBLE! Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Our guests truly felt spoiled, and we received so many compliments about the food. Everyone left happy, satisfied, and with very full stomachs!

Food is priced well for the quality and we usually get a mix of Sushi, Japanese appetizers and Thai dishes for the adults and American Chinese food for the kids as they have plain lo mein, fried rices and combinations which are better suited for a younger palate.“

My mother was very surprise with the shrimp double.. she couldn't believe the size of the shrimp and the price.. the staff is friendly and patient, the place is spotless also the restrooms are very clean.. back to the food. “If you want the best ice cream in all of New Jersey, this is the place. I'm not a fan of hard ice cream (I'm weird, I know), but Melba has changed my mind. New flavors every week, friendly staff, and you can try the overwhelming number of flavors before you buy.

The parking is rough during the summer, but the location is beautiful if you sit outside. I'd park and walk a mile for this ice cream, though. They close during the winter months, leaving you longing for their ice cream for a third of the year. Get there now!“
