“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

“Had a party of 3, myself and my daughter and her boyfriend. We are from Georgia, I am here occasionally but I wanted my daughter to get the full Jersey ambiance. The restaurant did not disappoint. The Prime Rib was amazing the crab cakes were out of this world. Food was amazing, service was top notch. Highly recommend the Sunday evening buffet special.“

“We had an excellent experience at La Fia! The food was imaginative and delicious. The presentation was lovely. I was pleased to find 'normal' size portions - not the mounds of cheap pasta you find at some restaurants. The dessert was especially special. Great service, too. Will definitely be back!“

“Sabatina's knocked it out of the park for my husband's birthday. we ordered a couple of sandwich trays and chicken tenders and everything was fresh and outstanding! the ladies in the shop even helped my daughter and I carry our food down the street since it was DE City Day and Clinton Street was blocked off. We can't wait to order again!“

“The owners are really nice and serve all of the food themselves.
The bread is great and the sauce was really flavorful. The arrancini balls were good.
The pasta was a bit dense and the gnocchi had a slightly weird taste to it.
The carpet makes the restaurant feel very mildewey and has a smell to it.“

“Love a place that doesn’t close at 10 and serves food late, AND good food at that! I ordered the Philly Steak and enjoyed it a lot. The roll was amazingly soft and fresh. The meat was chopped good and flavored well and it all came together deliciously. I would have enjoyed a tad more meat but there was enough that I’d didn’t make me put it all into one half. 8/10. Id surely go back. Only thing I’d suggest is a better IPA on tap such as Fiddlehead.“

“Mike B. was our waiter and we enjoyed his service. He was down to earth and he opened up to my table about some of his personal experiences. Mike also recommended some great places to see while we were in the region, since we were visiting for a double relative’s funeral. The sites he recommended really lifted everyone’s down disposition from our funerals. It was just what we needed. Thanks Mike, your service made our whole trip all the better. Because of you, when we think of our Delaware trip, we will have happy memories along with the sad ones. Your thoughtfulness and kindness touched us all, signed your table out of Virginia and Detroit, MI“

“Five of us had lunch at Cafe Verdi today. I only wish we had discovered it sooner! Between us we had four different pasta dishes and 1 salmon burger. Everything was excellent- fresh, nicely presented, and delicious! The family restaurant feel, the lovely music, and the people on staff made for a most enjoyable and memorable afternoon! “The morning/afternoon crew is the greatest! They make the best pizza around. But if you order after 6pm not so good! Whoever makes the pizza then is afraid to use cheese!! Can you have the morning guy (probably the owner) teach the late day guy how to make pizza?!“

“Recently hosted a 60th Birthday celebration and treated a large group of friends & family from Mazzela’s catering menu. I highly recommend Mazzela’s Italian Restaurant for all special occasion food needs and for any time that you are in the mood for the best homemade tasting Italian foods! Everyone at restaurant was friendly and very helpful, which made ordering and pick up convenient and easy. The menu selection was great and all of the food was delicious and was done to perfection! My guests raved about the high quality Italian ingredients and the homemade flavors of everything that we served.“

“The pizza here is genuinely amazing. Like, it’s not greasy or over seasoned to the point that it’s sticking all over my fingers. It wasn’t burning my mouth. The pepperoni was spread nicely. And I got my slice pretty fast. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able try other things in the menu, though I usually go to pizzerias for their pizza.“

“Yatz's is the BEST. Definitely in the top 3 of Delaware. The Ladies who create those delicious mouth watering subs are tremendously nice and very kind. The best part for me are the Tomatoes that Yatz's uses. I do not know where they get it from but when its laid on that turkey sub with a bag of chips and a cold one from their great juice selection....food ambiance at its finest. I usually pay for extra tomatoes!! Oh and the water ice in summertime, salud...“

“Primo is hoagies. Only thing is, if you don't like seeded rolls, this is not for you. Most places around northern Delaware use liscio rolls, which are the Mercedes of rolls. I love liscio rolls but the primo roll feels like a Rolls Royce transporting their premium ingredients to your stomach. Everything is top notch starting with the rolls, the meats and cheeses, down to the sides and staff at this location! Eat it now, and get a Whole size. Feed a family of 4 or have lunch for the better part of a week.“

“I love your pizza! So good! First time having the torta de pollo and I wish it had the Oaxaca cheese as put in the site, and a salsa picante to go with it. I have never seen a torta without frijoles and iceberg lettuce but it was okay. I will stick with my pizza order going forward.“

“Italian kitchen is a great one stop shop for all your catering orders. I showed up to pick up the sandwiches for our church lunch and I had put the wrong date on the order!!! They were able to accommodate me and worked like crazy to get it done. The cake I ordered was superb!!! If it had not been for the kindness of this store today, I don’t know what I would have done. The cashier, God Bless you. You went above and beyond to fix my mistake. Love you all!!!“
