“in my opinion this is the best bar in Perth amboy, and I have been to plenty in qmboy. But el patio bar is a 10 great costumer service, beer really cold, the djs are always on point. I’ve been here like 5 times and they are always giving out handmade free food. The food is amazing fresh, the bar is really clean. Overall love it such a vibe, the employees treated me and my group of friends great. And also a good place to go for in the summer because they have bbqs always, and backyard is really big“

“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

“We had such an amazing experience at The Rock House! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is incredible — everyone’s in a great mood, super friendly, and ready to have fun. We went for the Halloween party, and they absolutely nailed it. The band was fantastic, the music was excellent, and the whole place had this awesome ‘80s throwback feel — from the décor to the energy. The food came out fast, tasted great, and the prices were very reasonable. The Halloween-themed drinks were creative and fun, and the bar staff was quick, smiling, and clearly enjoying the night. The place was packed but still felt friendly and comfortable — we ended up meeting so many great people. You can tell The Rock House puts a lot of heart into what they do. Overall, this is a class act bar that knows how to throw a party. Beers are always cold, the food is consistently good, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend checking it out — and whatever you do, make sure to try their candied bacon. “Great food. Tiny place and if you go late on certain days you may not get a table. Staff is hit or miss. One day I witnessed three young girls working there standing behind the bar talking to each other and on their phones rather then tending to the customers. I do have to give support to the one young lady who eventually had to run the whole place herself till someone came to cover the bar. They should always have more than one person working the main dining area. If you want a good bar pie come here.“

“For a hotel, it certainly was refreshing. Traveling a lot you don't always get the best food selection.

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“

The dinner area is very plain with no privacy. More like a big open room. But not an issue, just a matter of preference. They do have a bar separate in another room which is nice and relaxed. Overall a good meal. Service was a bit slow though.“
