“The food is exceptional and consistent! It’s nice to have local business like this thrive. The owners are awesome people that collaborate with other businesses in the area; bringing everyone up with them, that’s the way small business should be. Try a lettuce wrapper classic burger with old bay fries; you won’t be dissapointed.“
“this was my first time here with my mother and it won't be our last! we had such a great brunch date for her birthday and our waiter was outstanding and hilarious! we loved being there in our jammies! thank you for the laughs and the delicious foods.“
“We go here every weekend (best grits, breakfast quesadillas, good omelets, good service!) while eating today they asked if we could switch tables to accommodate a larger party which we didn’t mind anyway, but they comped the bill! Good people great food!“
“Great Sports Bar. Great Staff and management went there today. Asked if they were showing the Rugby World Cup . Management couldn’t do enough for me. Got the game on Ireland playing Scotland. And a good pint of Guinness. What more could you ask for with the Irish winning highly recommend this place“
“We had an amazing breakfast. I chose the French toast (not the stuffed one) and my husband had the chicken and waffles. Both meals were delicious with plenty of food. I took half of mine home with me. They also offer specialty coffees/teas which were also tasty. Small, but cute place. I truly hope they make it as the chef has some very unique options on the menu that you don't see anywhere around here. Give them a try, I doubt you will be disappointed!Parking: This restaurant is tucked in the corner of a strip mall next to Ken's Hardware.“
“Oh my God! My sister ordered delivery for my birthday and it was the BEST chicken francese, omg so delicious. Delivered hot, fresh, friendly and fast. amazing salad, amazing blue cheese dressing PIZZA IS FABULOUS!!! Calzone delicious everything cooked to perfection! This place is ON POINT.“
“What a local gem! By far the best homemade soup and sandwiches in the area. We have takeout here every week and I am so happy my chiropractor suggested I check this place out. The owners and staff are so incredibly kind! ⭐️ I could not recommended this place enough.“
“Have been coming here for 20+ years since I was a kid. I swear it keeps getting better. Years ago sometimes you'd have a bad day, a rough server, food that was good but not great. That's never the case the last several years everything about this place has gotten better. I get something different every time and today's was my favorite cocktail and favorite meal.“
“Nostalgia plus great food and ice cream? Yes, please! Menu is refreshed and yummy, with lots of fresh produce and healthier options. My clam chowder and half chicken salad was fabulous. Even the sliced egg was thoughtful. The frozen yogurt is perfection. Friendly’s will always be my favorite. Wish we had one in Hampton, VA!“
“Their Seaside Tony is the sandwich to get, if you're there for the night, weekend, or live there( especially live there). All the locals order it. Service is excellent. I used to go there when I was a kid. And it's the same owner. The only time I go there now is when I'm in town. I've been critiquing food for the past twenty years and Steaks unlimited is by far the best Cheese steaks in the tri state area, which includes Philly. (In my opinion) atmosphere, is a down home shake shop. Very courteous and helpful. Highly recommended before you walk up to the Beach Comber“
“Was there to enjoy their delicious frozen margaritas... HUGE TIP: it was only $1 extra to get Patron than their house tequila... Also after 9:00pm was half price appetizers which was also great they're chicken wontons A+++ & the frozen mango margarita with sugar not salt also A+++“
“Cheese steaks are phenomenal, pizzas are great, wings are fantastic! My daughter on her birthday even requested "potatoes pizza"(tomatoes pizza) we've tried other places with pizza, wings and cheese steaks in Lacey and it never compares to Tomatoes Pizza. And the Fatty Joey is to die for.“
“A staple of mussels and pizza for many times, we stopped first time for burgers and were pleasantly surprised. Love the new look and hope the new owners do well. Service is pleasant and efficient. The chairs are heavy and need casters because they make a grating sound when you pull them our or push them in, but that's not a criticism, just a design flaw.“
“My dad loves going here every time he walks in they have his bagel ready to go, he used to go to them all the time in Beachwood and when this crew moved to Waretown he followed, the people are amazing and so friendly.. great place to enjoy a great bagel“
“Quaint little everything all in one. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I really enjoyed the special of the day. Will definitely be back.Parking: Street and lot parkingKid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly spot. Food and toys.“
“Toms River has the absolute best staff. Super helpful for us vegans who just want a quick fast food meal like everyone else. Our Impossible sliders are always fresh, and the fries hot and delicious. And our drive through attendant took the time to look through all the sauces and dips to make sure we had vegan options! ?“
“I've eaten BBQ across this entire country and one thing anyone who knows BBQ will tell you is that if the BBQ is worth a damn, it sells out! They ain't serving McRibs, this food is slow cooked with love and affection and its love you can taste! So get your orders in early and if they happen to sell out of something, use that as an opportunity to try something new. As someone who has tried almost everything on the menu, you will not be disappointed.“
“Darts! Tuesday Bingo! Fair claw machine! Family Friendly during the day/early evening. Night time is a fun place for adults. Sports bar vibe. Friendly staff. Lots of menu options.Kid-friendliness: Claw machine, coloring pages, kids menu, older kids were allowed to play darts as we were there well prior to the night life scene began.“
“I was genuinely and happily surprised by how fast it was...and good! I can't do gluten anymore, crisp, cool, lettuce surrounded hot, cheesy, bacon laden patties and I was extremely happy. Fries made me think of the boardwalk, milkshake is nothing short of perfection. First location that got me to write something and definitely somewhere I will order from again.Dietary restrictions: Bun free/GF options *on the menu* hoorayOreo shake hold the crumbles is the best vanilla milkshake you didn't know you were missing out on.“
“If you keep it simple here you'll be fine. Picnic table seating and a decent burger make the Chop Shop a very smart low-key choice when in the always sketchy Seaside Heights vicinity. Remember to go to the Chop Shop serving food instead of the numerous shops in the area dismantling your 2022 Camry. A very solid burger. Four, very solid stars.“
“After years of eating at Roy Rodger's, either at the stand alone locations or at N.J rest stops, it became a staple in my fast food diet. Moving out West, it's been years since I've returned to Roy's and recently found it to be just as good as I remember. Thinly sliced, juicy, flavorful and lean with a fresh baked bun and one bite in, I knew I was back home. Should franchises open in different parts of the country, I can't imagine Arby's staying in business, with their chunk and formed "loaves" of ground gristle, fat and additives passed off as "roast beef". No Arbys, you "DONT have the Meats" You have assorted unidentifiable road kill passed off as edible.“
“Soooo good. First order so wanted to sample a bit. All the healthy options were perfect. Portion size was great for leftovers. Husband had the mozzarella sticks too and they looked amazing! Best meatballs! Prices were more than reasonable as well! Will def be ordering again!“
“Made reservations for Easter. 10 of us. Everyone was happy with their food. Service was awesome. I wish when I called to make a reservation someone told me about a brunch?. The regular menu is fine by me. I only give a 5 if someplace is way over the top. 4 for me is great. 3 is average. My mother has never been to Riv's. Now she wants to go back. Did I mention we had a great server??“
“The wait is about half an hour when we went last weekend. Customer service is excellent! I’ve never seen a humongous pizza before and I was in awe when our order of half buffalo and half veggie was served. One slice is too big but the crust is thin, so it evens out. It was delicious! The ambience is so relaxing. It was definitely worth a try and we’ll be back.“
“Our server Mikayla was super sweet. Went to try a burger, first time there, the mozzarella curly things, meh, fries needed to be CRISPIER (that's why a 4) but the burger was really good! I got light pink, was juicy, tasty, needed a bit of salt, but a JUICY CHESSEBURGER. I don't like shredded lettuce on a burger, but at least I know for next time. Will definitely go back.“
“11/15/2023: First time visit to the Toms River IHOP. Restaurant was clean, server was upbeat and the lunch was excellent. We each enjoyed Spinach-Mushroom omelet each with toast & fruit salad and coffee on the side. Well Done!Parking: There was AMPLE parking and entry & exit were easy.“
“No complaints about the food or service but these prices are getting crazy. Cheeseburger, little cheeseburger and a regular fry, $28. I passed on the drinks because that would have been another 6 bucks for 2 sodas, I'll drink water at home. We won't even talk about the shake prices. I used to go here all the time now only occasionally, I can't afford it.“
“Boy oh boy do I love the ice cream here! I’ve been coming here for years, not only is the ice cream fantastic the staff is absolutely all wonderful, Rachel especially! This place never disappoints and I will be sure to keep coming! Keep up the great work, and keep making ice cream!“
“I come in regularly. Marissa the bartender is amazing!!! She’s so friendly and personable. I come back for employees like her, Destiny, and Anna. They make me feel like family when they are working the bar. I honestly come here at night to wind down and it’s the perfect spot because of these employees. The food comes out quick and consistently tastes good. I enjoy watching sports at the bar and the staff always treats me with respect.“
“We dine at the Alehouse pretty much on a weekly basis. Everything is always fresh and delicious. My husband loves the Justin-and Turkey Justin when it’s a special (it should be a regular item!). I love their California burger, scampi wings, and chicken francaise! Our son loves their mushroom/swiss burger. We also love their tuna bites and bar pies. The wait staff is super friendly.“
“Dairy Queen always has plenty of employees working. We enjoy the Dipped Cones, especially Cherry Dipped, available year-round. Make sure to try the Churro Dipped when available. The regular hard ice cream flavors in cone are classic items we enjoy, especially chocolate chip mint ice cream dipped in chocolate sprinkles or chocolate crunch. You cannot beat the price either, compared to other places. There is also seating on the side with amble space. We love our local DQ.“
“First, I had no idea brick and mortar Roy Rogers restaurants were still around. We ended up in an area of South Jersey we had not been to before because we had to pick up an item we purchased online. When we drove past the restaurant, we looked at each other and literally said at the same time, "Is that an actual Roy Rogers?" We had not been to a Roy Rogers in probably thirty years. Well, we had to check it out. We walked inside and I truly felt like I had stepped back in time, in the best way. It was Roy Rogers as I had remembered it from the 80's. Clean, same decor and complete with Fixin's Bar and 80's TV shows on the TV's! There was a steady stream of regulars eating in and one man told us the owner is the same owner since the 70's. The place was busy. The food? It was the same Roy Rogers food you remember. We enjoyed it. It was fresh, exactly what we expected in terms of taste, the staff were very friendly, and even came around to greet the customers, many by name. I was shocked at how busy it was and how most people ate in, which is just so different from how we engage with fast food now. It was a nice experience. Left feeling very uplifted at having spent an hour remembering simpler times...not a self-ordering kiosk in sight. We actually had to go back to the area the following week to pick up another order and we went again...consistent experience. Our daughter is going to be attending college out that way in September. We definitely plan to return for the food, the friendly staff and of course, the nostalgia.“
