“Les delices has the BEST treats around. It’s definitely the most fantastic pastry shop I’ve ever been to in my life. “We had a wonderful experience at Paris Baguette! We bought to go boxes of coffee for the staff at a local school. Eli and Sarah were so helpful preparing my order. Eli even helped me bring the coffee to my car. My kids and I went back later that day to grab some treats and everything was delicious. They even gave my kids a free hot chocolate! But one issue, although yes I used to work in retail and i understand that people work long hours and deals with customers all day long. And i completely understand what is it like to be in their shoes.
But I noticed that two of male cashiers (9/20/24). They don’t seem that friendly with me. I’m not saying it has to be all sunshine and rainbows and for them to be all smiley or whatever lol. But still, I was friendly with them when I paid for my things at the register and they looked at me as if they were annoyed by me. Again understanding that they were tired and worked hard and I do appreciate all of them for their hard work to provide best customer service! But still they need to practice being just a bit more friendlier ? !

But overall , I have the best experience there!“

“I stopped by GuatePan hoping for breakfast, but unfortunately learned (only after arriving) around 1045-11am that this particular location doesn’t serve it. It wasn’t clearly marked anywhere on the Google maps entry, so that was a bit of a letdown. While not a total loss, the options were limited—especially if you were hoping for something savory.

That said, I gave the tres leches cake a try. At first bite, it was just okay, but as I kept going, it genuinely grew on me. By the last bite, I had to admit: I was a fan. Rich, creamy, and just the right level of sweet—definitely the highlight of the visit.“

In my basket now : fig jam (Lebanon), halva (Egypt), fig cookies (Syria), tea biscuits (Turkey), goat cheese (Syria and Egypt), feta chese (Bulgaria), olives on open (Greece) and not to forget my tiny packets of Giglets chewing gum (Lebanon). (I go there since 1988 and no, I am not a mid-easterner).
I was there today too, a dozen of buckets with all kind of olives : black, raw, pickled, pitted, small, big, stuffed etc.
I feel like buying the whole store especially when i am hungry !!!“
