The lobster bisque is to die for. Although, I had the stuffed shrimp and shrimp were overcooked (broiled) and hard. The service and views were outstanding.
Awesome place. Highly recommended
The Lobster Shanty is a beautiful restaurant offering a delightful dining experience with a great atmosphere. The place is beautiful, with beautiful views of the water and boats going by, and a very scenic view of the inlet. The food is consistently praised as exceptional and delicious, with reviewers mentioning the lobster bisque was creamy and delicious, and the French Onion soup was fabulous. The whole Lobster was loved, and the flounder francaise was the best ever had. The restaurant is spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows. It's a popular spot for celebrations and gatherings, providing an enjoyable setting and tasty seafood-focused cuisine. The service is very friendly and accommodating, with servers being incredibly sweet and attentive. There are lots of choices, including lots of seafood, and vegetarian options. The twilight menu is plentiful and reasonably priced. The restaurant has two different rooms that were well managed, and can host two different parties occurring at the same time with no interference or noticeable delays. There is lots of parking. It's a banquet hall with a full-service bar and the bartender was very accommodating. For parties, there was a well-planned buffet line, dessert table, and ice cream cart, which the kids loved, making family events memorable. It is a beautiful place for weddings and all kinds of parties, and definitely kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible.
