“Authentic Mexican food. I had the chili Relleno which was delicious. The chilequiles verde con carne were a very light green that I have never seen before but they were not lacking in flavor....they were pretty good. The tamales were a bit dry however. Last time we had tacos al pastor which were delicious. The owners are very nice and friendly. A nice find. They only have 4 tables inside. They do mostly takeout...but both times we ate in and noticed alot of repeat customers and the owners greeting them. Nice customer interaction. I will go back and continue to try new things!“

“I’m one to always order a standard burrito when trying a New Mexican restaurant. To compare equally across the locations I’m visited in NJ I feel it’s important.Hands down the seasoning on the steak immediately brought me back home. Simple yet so perfect. I prefer a burrito without all the fluff. Meat beans cheese (&rice unless rice comes as a side) price point is awesome and the portion was huge for me. Fresh fried corn tortilla chips and individually portioned house salsas made me feel at ease opposed to sharing bottles or stations with other patrons. Quaint location with tradicional and festive decor. As a Latina who has lived in over 15different states I can absolutely say that this restaurant will be one of my top contenders here in Monmouth County. Looking forward to my next meal. Thanks“

“Ate at the boardwalk location during Sea Hear Now Festival. Did a pork and a beef taco with some of their cucumber salad. SO good. Tacos were a nice size and the different toppings that came in them were nicely portioned. Staff were friendly and made the recommendation of what to order. Will return.“

“I wasn't expecting their type of set up. There's a very small space to stay & eat. You order your food (from multiple food options) from a kiosk & when your order is ready your name is called & they hand you your bagged food. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger Detroit style personal pizza (which was delicious). I also ordered brisket just in case I didn't like the pizza. I didn't have the brisket yet. The pizza was plenty & it was great. If I'm ever passing through the area again I would DEFINITELY stop here. Plenty of food options to choose from.“

The drinks are to die for and well made! Our waitress, Jennifer is awesome ! We had a party of 19 and she personally cared for each one with ease ! She’s that good! “My wife and I hired them to do a food truck for after our wedding reception. 15/10 decision. The tacos were incredible esp the General Tso chicken and the bang shrimp tacos. Plus the leftovers that weren't served at the reception hall made great afterparty food. If you like tacos and want to give your late night party crowd a treat after a fun night, highly recommend Tacoholics!“

Compared to surf taco, taco tastic wins on taste, little more money but you can tell Ingredients and cooking ia more authentic. Highly recommend.“
