“2017 Aug: You get the same fresh, consistent texture of the moist, freshly baked pretzels from this outlet. I fell for the almond one and it was there. Didn't try anything else. There is a common sitting area, and lots of healthy options as well. It was awesome.”

“Finally had the opportunity to have dinner at this historic and legendary seafood restaurant and it did not disappoint. Having been to many seafood houses along the east coast, I am giving this one my highest rating. Sorry that it took me so long to get here, but since now I am living closer, I will be back as often as as I can. We had a 4:15 reservation and the first thing I noticed was the long line outside the door, I soon found out that these were people who were waiting to get the first seats at the bar for the fantastic Happy Hour, a great idea where their array of superior oysters can be found for less than half the price. We sat done for dinner and were immediately treated to superior, friendly and efficient service. We started with a dozen oysters going with the recommended Blue Points and Delaware’s, these were some of the best I have ever had, fresh, ice cold, juicy ,briny and incredibly flavorful. We went on to try the Manhattan Clam Chowder, served with fresh whole clams and a light tasty broth, a departure from standard and quite appealing. I had a blackened red fish in a Cajun stew with andouille, shrimps and okra, this was a spectacular dish made with some of the freshest and tastiest red fish that I have ever come across, hat’s off to the chef on this one!! We capped off this wonderful meal with their unbeatable bananas, caramel and creme pie. Bravo, bravo, bravo….”

“My boyfriend took me here to this hidden gem for dinner, and it was beyond exquisite. We started with the smoked salmon appetizer, which both of us claimed don't normally like smoked salmon, however, this was on another level. Then for dinner he had the veal, which melted in his mouth and mine. I ordered the whole bronzino and it didn't disappoint. A side of perfectly roasted vegetables to share, and we were in heaven. The owner/chef came out to personally greet us with his wife, our server, to make sure everything was to our liking, and it most definitely was a fabulous meal hosted by this lovely family and brilliant chef. We'll be back for sure.”

“Gray place with a fun atmosphere. Carly is amazing and always makes us feel welcome. We always have a large group and she is able to manage the group with ease. She always has a smile. One of the best servers around, hands down.”

“Food was good, But… the Service?. First time visit, staff were great, very friendly! We sat at the bar for brunch, unfortunately, we came in hungry & we had a wait. Spent over two hours, luckily they offer a bottomless Mimosa option, that helps curb your hunger for sure. Definitely a good place to visit. Just be prepared to be there for a while!”

“Go for the history and the steaks. Lobster thermidor is unique but not necessarily anyone's favorite. Great wait staff. If you have a problem with stairs make sure you say something when you make a reservation.”

“Came here this weekend. I think this really should be a 3.5, but I'm rounding up.Chef Vola's suffers from one thing: being way over hyped. We went with friends so I didn't deal with the reservation part: I can't speak to that. But it's hard to get in to which feeds into the hype of best Italian in AC. I don't agree.Atmosphere is dark and moody in a good way. Except the bathroom, which is legitimately in their kitchen. That was incredibly off-putting.My biggest issue here is the food and the price. I got Milanese, arguably one of the cheapest entrees on the menu. It was humongous, true, for nearly 35 dollars but nothing I'd rave about after leaving. I didn't eat almost half of it and wasn't mad about it. A side of broccoli rabe, while delicious, was $14. My husband got a good, but again not marvelous, crab cake and shrimp for almost $60. Everything is ala carte and the plates of pasta who came with our friends meals looked messy. Everything looked over sauced.Overall, our large table came out to nearly $1,000, which doesn't include alcohol (it's byo): that cost I think you NEED to be a meal I'd rave about again and again: and honestly I just won't.”

“Went here for lunch with a friend. Neither of us had been here before. The food and coffee was great and it was a nice change of pace. We’ll definitely go back one day. I got a Toasted Marshmallow iced latte and the chicken salad on a croissant. She got an iced Havana cappuccino and the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. We both loved it!”

“Had the Cape May Always Ready on draft. They serve it in a frosted glass, my god that was good. To eat I had the gochujang chicken sandwich, which was great. The fries are the best fries I’ve ever had. The bar tenders are very friendly as well.”

“Small local diner with fantastic food. We had breakfast, eggs Benedict for her, eggs, scrapple and hash browns for me and we split a Belgian waffle...More food than we could comfortably stuff down! The waffle was really, really good. Crispy exterior, light, fluffy and creamy center. The Benedict was done to perfection, perfect. The scrapple, I asked for it deep-fried, was perfectly crispy on the outside, eggs over-easy had no running whites...Lots of great photos on the walls! A friendly little hole-in-the-wall that I would definitely hit again! We were in the area and wanted some breakfast, just stopped in and we're glad we did. Thanks Gary!”

“We took my daughter for her 21st birthday because we are such Hells kitchen fans. It was like walking into the TV show and the open kitchen concept was wonderful. They even had the red team side and the blue team side of the kitchen. Chia was our server and she was awesome ,very knowledgeable, very helpful, very friendly and very efficient. The food, although I felt was pretty pricey, was excellent. You're actually paying for the experience. The cocktails were also very nice. I had the dinner with the wine pairings which was perfect. They brought my daughter her sticky toffee pudding with a candle in it and sang happy birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better night. ”

“The restaurant is super clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The food is tasty, especially the delicious pho soup (I gobbled it all up….)!! Additionally, I tried a dessert (tofu with coconut cream?) that I did not see on the menu, and it was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back!!”

“If I could I would rate the service 10/5. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or special evening event. Complimentary bruschetta, zucchini chips, and Parmesan were given that paired lovely with my wine. With all that said, the food was a 4/5. It was still delicious but I have had better Italian cuisine in other establishments. I would highly recommend the mushroom ravioli that was recommended by our waiter.”

“Second visit only because there aren’t any locations near me, but whenever I’m in Atlantic County, I’m trying to get here! Clean atmosphere, polite workers and quick service. Only drawback today was they were out of coffee and I wanted a cold brew sooooo bad!? it was 7:30 and they were closing at 8 so ??♀️ but I wouldn’t hold that against them…”

“Just left from a first time visit. Y’all have to go. The location is quaint and the coffee house itself gives feelings of easy and inclusive camaraderie. We went during what turned out to be a busy spring break afternoon. The coffee house was bustling with a full house and full staff. We were greeted immediately and the wait was short. The menu was comprehensive and chock full of ingenious craft lattes which, as a bartender, I appreciate and admire. They even had decaf espresso ( I am eternally grateful)! The menu is giving everyday brunch vibes, which I love. For coffee, we ordered a chocolate peanut butter latte & a toffee nut latte. Both were delicious, but I have to say, my chocolate pb latte came out on top (BIG fan). For food, we ordered a breakfast burrito and a blueberry & brie grilled cheese. Both delicious. Topping it off, we got a grilled French toast muffin that I could eat every day.Apart from the food, the staff was amazing. From the cashier to the baristas to the servers everyone was super kind and cheerful. We were separately welcomed by what seemed to be two owners or an owner and a manager. I regret not asking. Regardless, they were both so attentive, curious of us and genuinely happy to have two new customers.TLDR;Overall, as someone who works in the industry, we had a fantastic experience. The staff was kind and helpful. The superiors were welcoming and interested in their customers. The coffee was superior. The food was great.10/10. We are now regulars.”

“Due to a bad experience we had at a different Outback location several years ago, we stopped going to Outback restaurants. But we decided to give this location a try while on vacation in Atlantic City and we were not disappointed.Location was great, restaurant was clean, waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was great. The only thing that I didn’t like was the buffalo chicken wings. They use wings that are very large in size. Blue cheese tasted like an artificial flavor not real blue cheese. Wings were also very greasy.Overall a good experience and would definitely go back.Parking: Plenty of parking”

“My wife and I have designated this restaurant as the ONE RESTAURANT we will eat at every time we come to AC. The food is PERFECT, service is A+ and the atmosphere makes you forget you're in or near the casino. Just the ambiance of Ossu. A MUST when visiting. If there was a higher rating than A+ I'd give it. How about A+Heaven-Sent A+Heaven-Sent.”

“Came for an early dinner at 4:30pm and we were able to get a spot without reservations after waiting 5 mins. The dining area was pretty empty but I guess they just needed to set up. Staff was friendly and our waiter was attentive. The bread they serve at your table is delicious and warm. I ordered a cocktail and it was boozy and tasty. Made with fresh juice, not too sweet, and reasonably priced. Our entrées came with a salad so we got Italian and balsamic dressing. Both salad dressings were heavy with vinegar and very sour. The lettuce didn't seem to be the freshest so definitely could do without a salad on a return visit. For entrées we ordered the seafood boulliabaisse and braised short rib pasta. We didn't have to wait long for the food to come out and when the food did arrive, it's piping hot which is awesome. The seafood boulliabaisse broth tasted like the ocean with tomato sauce. The shrimp and mussels were fresh and cleaned well. The clams had a tiny bit of grit on them. The pasta was cooked just shy of al dente and a bit stiff. Still enjoyed the meal but not the best seafood pasta we had.The braised short rib was cooked well. Had great flavor and texture. I think they should choose a different pasta because the panccheri is huge and doesn't work well with the big chunks of beef. It was however, cooked well and seasoned great. The portion sizes for both entrées were very generous. Will be back to try their other entrées and cocktails whenever I'm back in the area.”

We had the two eggs over medium with bacon and grits plus pancakes eggs with cheese beef sausage and turkey bacon. Everything tasted great. Better than other diners I’ve had. “This Burger King is immaculately clean and the service is polite. The managers that run this place must be fantastic.. you can bring coupons for Burger King here and they gladly accept it. I noticed they also accept lower prices for certain food and drink . A customer before me asked for a senior coffee and it only cost him $0.54 cents.”
