50 Best Fast Food Restaurants near Pompton Lakes

“Stopped for a quick lunch and enjoyed my stay in the restaurant. The place was light, bright and clean. Food came quickly and hot. The staff was friendly and quick to respond to a mess left in one of the booths. Most notable was the young staff person cleaning tables and arranging loose stools in a neat and orderly way.“

“First time stopping in. The food was great. And the price was very reasonable. The place has great atmosphere, clean & so much to choose from. Staff was super friendly. Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. He took time to explain different options, what they were and how they were made. Any questions or requests we had were met with nothing but kind responses. Will definitely be back!“

“All food is very good, service too.“

“The birria tacos were delicious! Excellent service.“

“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. We had the tacos, regular bowl with carnitas and fajita bowl with steak and pina-mango drink. Food was very tasty and freshly made. Will come back to try El Pastor. Definitely recommend Sombrero Tacoria.“

“Unbelievable flavor, really impressed!“

“atmosphere was great, food was good. I miss this service since Moe's left. I wish their cheese sauce was better. homemade better, it was jarred. straight out of a can. I won't order that again but everything else was great.“

“First time here and it was amazing. I got the lamb rice platter everything was super fresh and tasty. I asked for extra sauces and he was very nice and gave me without charge. Very affordable and you get so much food you will have leftovers. I would def recommend this place :)“

“Las hamburguesas 👍🏼 estaban riquísimos y las papas con tocino“

“Just stopped for first time… good food and very nice people“

“Ordered here today take out for the first time. Was really looking to eat a smash burger which I heard they make. So I got really excited, I saw they have my favorite kind spicy with jalapeños. Pricing seemed great for a single patty with the fixing on it. The only thing I’ll complain about is the size of the burger. It’s literally the size of a McDonald’s hamburger just the standard one. So the size isn’t worth the price in my opinion. Had the burger been a little bigger then I’d say he’s worth it. The taste was good and I really enjoyed it but don’t think the size makes since. I ate that super fast where as other places that make these smash burgers single patty with all fixings super saucy and messy which I love. The fries are nice and crispy and a good portion.“

“One of the best chicken spots locally.
9/10 fried chicken
8.5/10 chicken nuggets
7/10 fries
5/10 potato wedges.
The fried chicken and nuggets I will forever come back for. Absolutely delicious and juicy!!!
I ordered catering 1/2 tray fries and wedges. 50 piece fried chicken and 50 piece nuggets (they gave me 60, very generous of them 👏🏾)
Definitely will be coming back for fried chicken
Only gave 4/5 because of the sides.“

“As a first time visitor I found it to be a relief to get a majority of my favorite cuisines in one place.

Service at this location was a kiosk ordering process, which honestly works given the sheer amount of options.

I was worried it would be questionable given that I had American, Asian, and Spanish food, but everything came out very hot and extremely delicious. Their food was more flavorful than some of the higher end restaurants I’ve frequented in the area, which says a lot.

As a bonus, I did NOT have any weird aftertaste or finger swelling (usually when restaurants use too much salt making their dishes).

If I had to do a game night or had people with different dietary wants/needs eating with me, this would be my first stop since everything is readily available.

What a Wonder this place is indeed.“

“I found this gem by mistake, best wrong turn ive taken... the service was great, the burger was delicious, the bun was good on its own.. the fries were perfect. The prices are very reasonable and I appreciate the quality for the price. I cannot brag about this burger enough.
Photo barely made it.“

“Clean place, near evethong“

“This was the best blizzard I've ever had. All other dairy queens I've been to have made me either wrong blizzards or liquidy blizzards and God forbid they ever flip it as the dairy queen motto says. They brought us the blizzards, flipped it in front of us and they were better tasting than any blizzards I've ever had. The food was fantastic, better than any fast food place I've ever been to. I am astonished by the quality of this place. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that it isn't closer to my house.“

“The hot tenderloin is fantastic.“

“i've had two different experiences at this place so i guess the service just varies? the first time they made us pay for the food at one counter and drink at the other, which was very strange. and moreover, the dude presumably in charge seemed quite impatient with us, as if we should have known about their weird system. perhaps this was due to the long line. but the second time i had no issues and paid for everything together. there was also a very nice woman that gave me samples of scrumptious little cinnamon pretzel bits, which i greatly appreciated. overall, the food is very nice and i would revisit.“

“me encanta la reina pepiada.😋“

“Everything is great 😊 🫶 it with like you“

“I had such an amazing experience here! From the moment we walked up, everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service truly made the night special.

A huge shoutout to Raul and Martha—they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They were so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s rare to come across service like that!

I left completely happy with everything and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and even better service!“

“It was my first time eating from chick-fil-A. It was unbelievably delicious, the chicken sandwich, waffles fries and salads were so fresh. I will recommend everyone to try it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely go there again. Love ... Rose 🌹“

“Just ordered from there for the first time today, I must say delivery was on point and the food was delicious will definitely order again!!! Great place, awesome food!!!“

“Place is great and solid. They make the best breakfast in town, too bad they aren't open earlier but I guess to keep quality the chef/owner need to sleep or be with their families at some point unfortunately for us hungry customers. Burgers, dogs, gyros, turkey sandwiches, and Italian ice recommended.“

“only good thing about this place is the food , i miss the old employees they were so welcoming and friendly . now the energy is just off and you feel like a bother . i started doing curbside and sometimes there will be missing food or i once gotten someone else’s order…“

“Always correct with my order I go there with my family and we all have different adjustments we make when ordering and they never fail always correct and fast only taco bell that's on point and attentive to what they do the best taco bell if you ask me!!“

“The flavors are like those of Barranquilla, it is evident that the tartar sauce and the pineapple sauce are made by themselves.
We were a group and we ordered a little from everyone.
And all very good, top ingredients.
I would drive whatever it took to get back.“

“This has always been my Go-To Checkers, the fries are everything, and yes they also have funnel cakes aka funnel cake fries, if you are familiar with the area, I do recommend this location...“

“An absolute must-visit food truck in Paterson! The quality here is amazing, and everything is made fresh. They do it all—from perfectly crispy fried foods and flavorful pinchos to incredible sandwiches. If you’re looking for a great spot to eat, I highly recommend checking them out!“

“Everything was soooo good!We had the longaniza, morcilla, buche & chicharrón, it was all fried to perfection. That morcilla ??My Chimi de res was perfect! The guys in the truck were very nice and service was fast! We are totally going back “

“Amazing food high recommend the fudge cheesecake on a stick“

“Great burgers, but staff can be a little more friendly. No one greeted when we walked in. We ordered 3 meals, the person at the register didn’t even acknowledge us between the items ordered. Just pressed something on the register and looked at us (no “ok” or “anything else” or even “got it “).“

“I was Happy to try the Flamethrower Burger w/Fries,along with a Medium drink/Flurry(Awesome service worthy of 10,000/10,000 of awesomeness)“

“Great experience! Ordered through grub hub and grub hub kept delaying my order so Jersey Mikes took it upon themselves to deliver my sandwich personally to the hospital that I work! Great customer service! Thanks again!“

“located right on newark pompton turnpike, it's such a great place to stop for a quick bite when you just need a good burger (or their ribeye steak...SO GOOD), i've never met a friendlier staff or have had such a delicious meal ready to take home im such a short amount of time. definitely will be recommending this place to everyone i know!!!“

“Had some paperwork to do in downtown and walking by the smells just got me I had to try a sandwich especially since I was in the company of my daughter. We ordered the Roma panini… it was so delicious perfect melt cheese and such a good pesto base , the chicken was so tender. Service was so friendly and inviting, the cashier made sure my coffee was just the way we wanted . Definitely the highlight of our day .“

“l Love there food pricing is reasonable. Owner is great. You must go visit“

“I’ve been coming here for a while now, and every time the food is amazing. I’ve tried their fried chicken, fish, burgers, sandwiches, platters, and gyros, and everything has been fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

I came all the way from Jersey City just for the food because it’s honestly one of the best spots in Paterson. The fried chicken is always crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the portions are generous.

The customer service is excellent too. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and the food is always served quickly.

If you’re looking for the best fried chicken and halal food in town, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it and will definitely keep coming back! 🍗🔥“

“Great sandwiches! Always fresh. Management and staff always friendly. The store is always clean when I go there. They really got it together there. I highly recommend!“

“Came here for the first time- we’re Vegans, and sometimes it’s difficult to find an Indian restaurant that has many vegan options. The staff went out of their way to help us find the vegan options on the menu, and when they were out of some ingredients to make certain dishes (it’s Diwali, and so it’s a busy time of year) that featured mushrooms and tofu, they actually custom created a dish so that we could try more of what they have to offer. A great experience, and will definitely be coming back!

“Food always fresh and delicious & very reasonably priced - Been my secret treasure 10+ years - the owner's work as hard as employees & greet everyone as family.
Best suited to go or for a small group to eat in for lunch.“

“My grandson, and dozens of other kids love DQ. My guy loves whatever the special blizzard of the week is. For me, it's just plain vanilla or strawberry. He's a;ways satisfied and it seems all the other kids in the crowd are, too. This seems to be the place for the kids to go after the baseball or soccer game. Or after the movies.“

“Always fast and friendly service! And that chicken sandwich omg....“

“If you’re looking for authentic Lomo Saltado, this is the place. The beef was cooked perfectly and the balance of flavors was elite. 200/10—the portion size was generous and it arrived tasting fresh. A huge thank you to the kitchen staff for their hard work, you absolutely nailed this! Best Lomo Saltado!“

“good service, people are friendly“

“This was probably the CLEANEST fast food location I've ever been to. The bathroom, the counters, and the dining areas are spotless. And the bathroom didn't smell bad either. I had to come on here and write the review because of how impressed I was. My order was also fully correct. I usually make changes to my burger and they got everything right. I even placed my order through the app and it was ready before I even got to the restaurant (7 minute timeframe). The manager must be running the place like it's the Navy. Thank you guys, keep up the good work.“

“This is the BEST place ever! The sandwiches are super meaty and toasty! I LOVE the meat! When they warm up the meat, it makes the sandwich perfect! A certain hunk, Bob or Rob, helped me out today... and speaking of meat... WOW! 😉“

“Outstanding group of workers there! Greeted as soon as we walked into the door, and even though there was a long line - the crew were quick, accurate and did a fantastic job making sure our wait wasn’t too long. Even went as far to ask each customer their name, introducing themselves and asking how their day was going! Stellar crew and are happy to have them in the community! And did I mention the sandwiches are delicious and prepared perfectly?!! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“My brother & i spam this place as the chicken fries are delectable Most of the time and the fries & halfsies r yummy. I love a burger king cookie. Top tier. How can u beat an 84¢ melty and sweet cookie? The staff is always nice even when he and i are being dumb and need them to repeat themselves to us. Our order is always right. This burger king has come in clutch on countless occasions!“

“Local around the area and will always love this place to my core. I’ve been coming here since I was young and I watched the place change interior looks and saw the upgrade they had; proud of them! My family and I would have this place for Dinner time to time and it would never disappoint. Food is wonderful as always.“
