“I get the same drink everytime (iced caramel latte). Most Dunkin’s I go too have been a gamble whether or not my order comes out good. Most of the time it’s not good. This Dunkin is by far the best!! Everytime I get my drink it tastes amazing. I have not gotten one bad drink yet. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating!!“

“I enjoy this coffee shop. The environment is great. Their drinks are phenomenally better than Starbucks. It's not as noisy as other coffee shops in the area. The sunlight is great in the library room.

The only downside is that one of the male baristas is not very friendly and he looks annoyed when you order a drink. He has consistently tried to close the shop 15-30 minutes early. He shuts down and cleans the machines before the end of shift so if you arrive like 15-20 minutes before closing time you might not be able to buy the drink you drove 20 minutes to get. I completely understand wanting to be efficient and needing to leave but it's inconvenient when you've driven 20 minutes across town for a to go drink based on the hours posted. He has also turned down other people so I'm not the only one with this experience.

I've been several times and female baristas are extremely friendly. Otherwise it was a 5 star experience. I just always hope I don't get the grumpy barista. It seems like I usually run into him though.

Parking: Sometimes the parking lot is full and it's hard to find a space due to the other businesses in complex.“

“We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner this year from Comfort Kitchen Cafe and every single thing was delicious! The turkey was the best turkey everyone has had! Moist, delicious and was even carved to perfection. The mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, carrot and lasagna were amazing too. Oh and the salad! “If there were more stars, I'd give them. We are from out of state (formerly from Waldwick) and needed to send a brunch catering to a dear family. Bagel Supreme was professional, sweet, considerate and kind. I called on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM (about an hour before the store closed) and the owner had his wife call "within the hour." She did and spent time with me on the phone getting the right order to fit my request for the family. Then sent multiple texts to confirm everything throughout the evening. Talk about going ABOVE AND BEYOND! They delivered PROMPTLY as promised the next day and they sent us pictures of the platters to ensure that we saw what was delivered. Greeting cards to mark the occasion with our thoughts HAND WRITTEN were attached. The store would NOT take money until the order was delivered even though I offered to pay in advance. I will absolutely use them in the future for long distance gift giving (who doesn't like food as a gift)? And this will be our very first stop when we are back in town. 1,000% recommend!!!“

“Jackie Smalls – My New Favorite Brunch Spot!

I don’t usually go out for brunch because most places serve the same old eggs and pancakes, but Jackie Smalls completely changed my mind. This has to be my favorite breakfast/brunch spot I’ve tried!

I ordered the Freekeh Bowl, Grains of Nazareth, and French Toast, and every dish was incredibly fulfilling and well-balanced. But let me tell you—the French Toast was hands down the best I’ve ever had. They use sourdough bread infused with rose, which adds such a unique flavor. The whipped cream on the side was unbelievably fresh (unlike anything I’ve had before!), and the maple syrup had just the right amount of sweetness.

If you haven’t been to Jackie Smalls yet, you need to give it a try. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!“

My partner and I first started visiting Local in 2021, and it's been our go-to since. Despite having four coffee shops closer to home, none of them match the quality of Local. That's why it's become part of our daily routine. We can always count on them to get it right. Plus, we've become friendly with the owners and baristas. Everyone there is professional and genuinely kind and caring.

Known for their warm and personal service, Local offers the best coffee and espresso in the Montclair area. Their menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring delicious seasonal drinks without overwhelming choices. My personal favorite? A perfectly crafted cappuccino, the perfect start to my mornings.

Though it's a small shop, there's plenty of seating both inside and outdoors. It's always a good sign when there are regulars hanging out, chatting or working. Somehow there is always plenty of room for all to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to catch up with old friends or make new ones :)

“Over a month ago while on a day trip to Upper Montclair with friends, I spied an artisanal chocolatier. Inside were bars, confections, hot chocolate and bark. I bought three bars for each of my friends. For myself, I took a Dominican Republic bar of organic single origin 66% and a packet of orangettes. I decided to eat both in Pune. The bar was enjoyed with every bite. The chocolate was smooth, non acidic and imparted a tasty finish. The orangettes I regrigerated due to the hot weather and have been eating and savoring each morsel slowly. Both my friends enjoyed their bars. The lady helping us was informative and gave us samples. When I return home, I plan to make another visit as it's far nicer than buying it online.“

“Best ice cream shop in Essex County if not the entire state of NJ. You can taste the difference in quality, creaminess, ingredients, no artificial flavors. Small space but the flavor is large. They are getting ready to launch their second storefront in Lyndhurst. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed. “Amazing tea shop! My wife and I enjoyed the Tea Ceremony with owner Fengxiao very much. Extremely relaxing and informative. Fengxiao spent extra time with us and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Her very laid back approach to the ceremony made it very enjoyable. It was well worth our 2 hour drive to her shop. After the ceremony we purchased one of the 3 amazing teas we had. It was the Wild Old Tree Lao Ban Zhang Ripe Pu-erh Tea, 2005. A very good Puer at an extremely reasonable price. We also purchase a clay pot of excellent quality which was also very well priced. I am going to use Sinofilia Tea Shop for future online purchases. I highly recommend visiting Fengxiao’s store and booking the Tea Ceremony. At the end of our visit, we felt like we had met a new friend!“

It’s so worth the drive from Pompton Lakes because Austin, the manager in Wayne, knows what customer service means and he is people oriented so the drinks are tastier. “We have been to Made in Italy many times during all of the ownership changes. We have been for dinner, had graduation parties and gone for dessert only. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“

“I have had numerous positive experiences at this store. The below is just one of many.I had a coupon for a free matcha latte with purchase. I went to this store and ordered a donut and a matcha latte with skim milk on the app. I saw the employee make a matcha latte. She put the latte to the side and made another latte. When I went to pick up my order, she handed me the second latte. I asked her what had happened. She said that she made the first latte with whole milk and then noticed that I had ordered skim milk so she remade the latte. (Note: I would have had no way of knowing that the first latte was incorrect. She remade it because SHE knew it was incorrect, not because I would have.) She then handed me the first latte and told me to enjoy that one as well. I was blown away by this amazing customer service. This is clearly an employee who takes great pride in her work, and this is also clearly a store that allows their employees to make independent decisions. This Dunkin is truly a cut above the rest with regard to customer service and quality of products.“

“Our / Nuestra Passion is a great little coffee spot. The staff is friendly and professional. I had the fruit crêpes on Sunday. I thought they were the best. I was ready to go back Monday for more they are closed. The smoothie my daughter had was delicious fresh strawberries and mango. I only wish I realized sooner they were located right on Main Street . “Just had the best experience with ladyfingers! I had a birthday party for my daughter and they provided a two tier cake and a coffee bar. Lauren was very responsive from start to finish. I was able to pick the flavors and filings for each tier off their long list of options. I didn’t have much time to look for a cake design so just sent over a photo of a cake that I quickly googled. They were able to create it, and even better, they added a customized cake topper with my daughter’s name. They also delivered it to the venue which was very important to me since I didn’t want to deal with picking up a big cake from a bakery and making sure it didn’t get ruined during an already busy day. At the party they provided us with a “coffee bar” serving up a variety of flavored hot and iced coffee & chai. The guests loved this! Many drove from far so a coffee option was exactly what the needed upon arrival. The onsite team was great, arrived early to setup, and went above and beyond by lending me a cake stand and having ice delivered for us when we were unable to get any because it happened to be sold out everywhere near by. Overall great experience and would highly recommend them!“
