“My first time going into this restaurant and the place was very clean and smelled like fresh food. The lady behind the counter was sweet, welcoming and very friendly. Honestly it has been a long time since Ive gotten this kind of service in a food establishment. Coming from New York I’ve been wary about buying halal food from Rahway (where I live for 5 years) because a lot of food places have disappointed me in this very area. So I’ve bypassed this place for a long time. But today I’ve decided to stop in after reading its reviews and I have to say. I am pleasantly surprised the food is good and fresh the spice was perfect and the falafels were very good. I am so happy this place is close to home I will be in here often. And I will absolutely go in sooner than later for the hostess. Her vibes were beautiful. Salam alaikum. I recommend for all!“

I got the original chicken with rice platters and one chicken mix gyro wrap. Excellent and momma is really hard to please. We’re transplants from NYC and with NYC being at the top of the dining out / take home capital it is tough for many States and counties to compete with the flavor and cooking styles easily found in NYC just around every corner.

OMGRYRO easily hits all the marks with the exception of the Jerk Chicken. Jerk Chicken flavor profile is no bueno in my humble opinion and that is because it doesn’t come close to tasting like jerk seasoning and can’t compare to true jerk style flavor.

Everything else is we ordered and devoured tasted great, high on flavor with decent portion sizes.

Hope they put the Jerk Season flavor to the chicken NYC style.“

“The food was really good! I tried one of the gyros and I liked that you could customize it by chosing your choice of protein. My friend had tried the shrimp quesadilla and loved it as well. The day I went they had an event so I got a henna done :)“

“Dude, that burger was awesome! They ground the beef right there while we were ordering. The fries were perfectly crispy and so good. I think they coulda bundled the fries and a drink to make a few extra bucks and make ordering easier, though.

And I wish they had a soda fountain with refills for one price.“

Everything made to order, so be prepared to wait up to 10 minutes for a hot/fresh/delicious meal. In my opinion the 6 piece grilled tenders are the best value for your buck, definitely ask for a side of their white sauce, it's out of this world delicious!!. Food is a tad spicy, but nothing extraordinary, the spice level is fine for casual spice tolerance individuals like myself. All around great place to dine. “Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“Bombay Paratha is an excellent spot for Pakistani brunch. The halwa poori is delicious, and both the mooli and keema parathas are top-notch, flavorful, and taste homemade. Everything we tried had that authentic, home-cooked feel. My only gripe is the name; calling it "Bombay Paratha" doesn’t quite fit, as something like "Lahori Paratha" or "Punjabi Paratha" would be more accurate. That aside, the food speaks for itself. Definitely worth a visit!“

“This is one of my favorite places to eat when I am in Manhattan. The food is always consistently excellent and the portion sizes for what you pay is very fair. I love both the combination platter and sandwich. I ordered the sandwich this time because I thought the platter would be too much on a hot humid day but the sandwich was perfectly fine. A soft pita was loaded with chopped gyro and chicken with fresh veggies and topped with their white sauce. It was so good and the meats were so juicy and tender. I just love eating it at the cement benches at the tiny park near by and just people watching. It is a real experience and one of the things you need to try when you come to Manhattan and to the MoMA across the street.“

“This place is a gem!! a must eat!! We found it through Uber Eats and ordered 1x. It was so good. The portions were amazing. Portions are like something grandma would serve her hungry kids. We visited and now I frequent it almost daily! Homefries platter is not for the faint of heart. You've got to have a hearty appetite or share it out. Grits platter...well...something of a southern treasure! Beef bacon egg and cheese sandwich is always a perfect on the run, goodie! We tried the shrimp over rice and that was nice. Chicken over rice was even better as it had a slight kick to it. And again, no matter what you order, bring a healthy appetite cause you're gonna need it and a long nap, after! These guys are amazing!! Truly! They're sweet! They're efficient! They can throw down on that gril!! Yummmmm Oh...and if you've never had it, their lemon ginger drink is amazeballs!! This place really is a gem in the middle of a jungle 😆 Visit them and be kind! Far too many ppl are not kind or feel entitled to speak to them ill mannered. Please don't! “"This is our neighborhood Popeyes Chicken, Y'all!! 😅 No, seriously, though." I went to get some chicken wings and an Italian cheese and cheese steak. There was no one in there when I first went in, but boy did that change quickly. About 5 minutes later, it was like a family gathering full of people who did not know one another, but we had one thing in common. WE LOVE THAT CHICKEN 😂!! Y'all, we talked about the chicken and how good it is. We even stayed until a fresh batch came out. We laughed and brought up memories of the 2 staff that were still there since our younger aging, me now 50. The point is to get there and get THAT CHICKEN!! OH, the chicken steak was delicious as well. I loved that it was not dry. Also, try the pizza with the beef pepperoni slices.🤤🤤😁😍🍗🍕

It was my first time at 30 burgers and person helped me with vegetarian options. The owner actually came and check with me about foods and overall experience.

“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.“
