“By far one of the best subs I have ever had!!! The food is amazing, along with a clean environment and great customer service. I was served by Ashley 🤗 at the register, and plus she was the cook for me and husband's order. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, and offered the best suggestions tailored to me and my husband's taste. This has become one of my favorite spots to eat at. If you are looking for a great tasting hot or cold sub, this is the place for you and everyone you know.

“I have finally had a sub from a SUBWAY® that is worth 4 stars. It is The Monster with double meat and whatever toppings you prefer. I went with Garlic Aoli, Red Wine Vinegar, Lettuce, Tomato, Spinach, Black Olive, Jalapeño, Banana Peppers, Black Pepper and Oregano. Not toasted. The question is, is it worth $17? Nah. I honestly cannot tell the difference between their presliced meat to their newly sliced fresh meat. For chains, Jersey Mike’s is much higher quality for $1 - $2 more. Jersey Mike’s is actually less expensive had I went to the Avenel Subway location. The same sub there was $20! If you are in Central/North Central NJ, do yourself a favor and just go to Tastee Subs in Metuchen.

For the money you get Generous Amount of Meat and toppings. Very small, Clean, Friendly and BUSY little spot.

“so i ordered pancakes from here and while the pancakes themselves were quite good, they charged an outrageous amount for strawberries that were soggy and bland. if they used fresh strawberries then it would maybe be a 5/5 but if you like strawberries then perhaps you should go elsewhere. otherwise im sure you’ll have a great time with the pancakes. i also had a peach mango smoothie and that was pretty good.“

I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. All in all Comet Pizza is my favorite thing since Russell Crowe screamed 'Are you not entertained?!' in the hit motion picture Gladiator back in 2000. I’d fight a tiger in the arena for their pepperoni pie.

“The original sub sandwich chain founded in Hoboken NJ in 1964. This location inside a convenience store has been around for years. Their Tuna salad and the “club sub” are the standouts. Also their location has tons of parking which is hard to find on Morris avenue. It’s been a family owned location for decades so stop in and say hello!“
