“This joint is SO LOCAL and small town feeling. Only reason I take a star off is because it’s hard to not feel out of place here if you’re not a regular. Went in on a Thursday and it was slamming - with a weird karaoke-but-not-karaoke open mic night (it seemed only friends of the bar could sing, and they had a gig going on.)Don’t get me wrong. Service was perfectly friendly and welcoming and good. It’s just the vibe of going here as an out of towner (which I’m really not - I grew up here, I’ve just been away a long time and the whole place has turned over) is a bit awkward.If you’re the type that makes friends anywhere you go, it’s great. If you’re a sit and chill in the corner type, not so much. But not bad. Just know what you’re getting into.The “hogs only” parking was enjoyable. This could make for many a meme….“
