“My family wanted indian after apple picking and we couldn’t find a place until I looked up Indian and found them. It said 5 stars and the ratings were not wrong. This restaurant was absolutely amazing. The food was excellent and there were so many choices. All of the food was worth it. I’ve been to many Indian restaurants and this place is in my top 3. The owner is such an amazing, hardworking, and sweet woman. She told us her story about for 20 years she’s wanted to have a restaurant yet she took the time to support and take care of her kids. It was heartwarming. She also told us a story of a father and a daughter who were starving and came to the door after close hoping they didn’t close yet. The chefs left, but she didn’t want them hungry. She still let them in and she cooked dinner for them and didn’t let them pay. It was for free. She expresses how being able to give food is a blessing and the biggest reward is being able to give food for people in need and feeding the people. She deserves this restaurant. Not only is she an amazing woman, but the bigger plus is the food is absolutely amazing. The naan, aloo papri chaat, chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, lamb tikka masala, paneer tikka masala. All of it was amazing and so flavorful. For the spice levels my brother and I got medium and my parents got medium plus and the spice levels were perfect.”
“Soul Kitchen is amazing! Our students love working with the great staff and always feel welcome and learn great skills and life lessons. The student favorite part of the soul Kitchen experience is of course the delicious food made by Chef Emily and her staff. The Matawan Regional staff and students want to thank Bon Jovi and all his supporters for a great experience and relationship!”

“Amazing food, amazing service. A bit pricy for the area and food but worth the go!”
“Good Karma Cafe is our nearby special occasion spot. We like everything that we get from there, and we have tried at least half of the large menu at this point. However, our family favorite is the tiramisu cup. On multiple occasions we have foregone birthday cake in favor of those tiramisu cups. Delicious.”

“Been a customer for twenty years. Solid BYOB Italian restaurant with a veteran staff. Owner and general manager are always present. Ownership changed 9 years ago. Very good fresh pastas. I’m totally a fan of their main marinara sauce. Sometimes I’ve asked for it on the side. My wife and I have liked the seafood pasta panadora. I tend to order a lot of salads and I’ve tried most of them. My favorite is their chopped salad ($18). Sometimes I get it with the chicken option. I really like their own salad dressing. It’s a little different. The Greek salad is really good too. The braised slow cook short ribs are very popular; a long time specialty item. Their lunch menu is very reasonable. Surprisingly good burgers and sandwiches. I’m particularly a fan of their tuna sandwich, with several variations. I have found the service to always be excellent. I noticed their bread has been outstanding. Owner said they invested in a new ovens from Italy✅ Their homemade carrot cake is excellent, and I’m fussy when it comes to carrot cake, my favorite😀 Great location in downtown Red Bank on Wallace Street, which is not busy. There is municipal parking nearby. Keep in mind you generally have to pay in Red Bank unless you’re willing to walk a bit. Also, a special mention goes out to special events. They’re particularly good at parties. They scale well to what the needs of the event. It can be simple to full sit-down dinner or buffet.”
“I hosted a family event at Via Sposito. Everyone was very pleased with our server, Jessica and the dining experience. The food was amazing and plentiful. We have dined there a few times prior to this and were always pleased with food. At our event everything was family style and there was a variety of food. The pizza and zeppoles were also great. They worked within our budget and offered a lot of choices.”
“I was shocked to walk in and see only a few tables taken. The ambience in here is wonderful. Lighting is not too dark or too bright, and although small it didn’t feel crowded. Starting with the menu options, wonderful selection of vegan, gf, and special diet. Everything is made fresh so modifications were not a problem. Besides the delicious food, the best part was the waitress!! By the end of the night, we felt like family and she even snapped a bunch of photos for us by Santa 🎅 . We had 1 child with us, who usually won’t even look at the staff, well he ordered his own meal and customized it to his liking. She was so patient and kind. My father thought she was an owner because of how much knowledge of the place she had and shared her love of Elli’s and history. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp, served IN a halved pineapple! Wow!! OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS! Everyone’s dinner was fantastic!! The child even tried calamari for the first time and loved it! To sum it up and not ramble on forever, this is an easy top 5 restaurant in ALL of New Jersey!! Run”
“I love buffalo chicken sandwiches and have gone as far as Philadelphia to get one. However, I recently tried a buffalo chicken sandwich at Nicholas. I was speechless…literally. My brain instantly went into survival mode trying to calculate how and why this sandwich was at least ten times better than any other buffalo chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Not even a close second place. Game changing. Life changing. It’s like I knew nothing about buffalo chicken a moment before taking a bite. I was humbled instantly. Nicholas Barrel and Roost found the cheat code!”
“If I tell you how wonderful the place, the people, the plates are will you promise not to go? It’s hard enough snagging a reservation without hoards of people trying to book a table after reading justifiably rave reviews. OK, here goes. Agnolotti pasta and sweet potato hush puppies as appetizers to start and oh, what a start it was. Monk fish and a bacon-jam encrusted pork chop, both cooked to perfection, as entrees. Lemon tart and a you-gotta-try-it-once-in-your-life “budino,” for dessert. (Do you know stressed spelled backwards is desserts?) What’s a budino you ask? Adult pudding, whipped by angels, so addictive it must have been created by Satan. Farm to Table, fresh, sustainable, local, tucked away on a side street in Red Bank… and you get to bring your own favorite wine. Don’t go. Don’t tell your friends. Let this gem be all mine.”
“My wife and I had the 4 course dinner. Food was very good. We started with the Bacon and Brie Cheese Fondue. Pretzel bread was extremely good. For entrees, my wife had the land and sea, I had the steak. Everything came out good. I enjoyed cooking my own food at table. Everything came out good. We finished with cookie and cream fondue. This was very good too. Even dipped a little of the chocolate into my coffee for an enhanced taste. Our server was very good.”

Takeout Restaurants
“We found ourselves in the Red Bank area for an event and were looking for a late meal that wouldn’t break the bank. RB has a plethora of fantastic higher end restaurants but we were looking for quality at a good price and… we found it at Oriental Empire. Fusion offerings were pretty standard but the taste was amazing. Ordering the Pad See Ew and it was delicious, as good as I’ve had. Service was impeccable and a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.”

“Best pizza and service!!! Amazing wings, salad, everything!!!”
“I was recommended to Cupcake Magician as I needed to order a cake for a rehearsal dinner and I do not live local to the Red Bank NJ area. I spoke to Danielle regarding what type of cake I would like. She took my order over the phone and was happy to deliver the cake to the restaurant, which is very close to the bakery. The cake was delicious, and we took home the extra and enjoyed it again the next day! I ordered a 9 inch vanilla layer cake with chocolate mousse filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. Highly recommend!”
“Was just in the store yesterday and saw the amazing company Truffliest, which I love the truffle sauce. There’s an amazing selection of different various products as well as amazing fresh pasta and food ready to go. If you’re in the neighborhood in Red Bank, I would definitely recommend stopping by!”
“Very good service! We ordered pineapple fried rice and shrimp pad Thai, tom Yom soup, all very delicious and authentic Thai food in very good price! Highly recommended!”
“Food was good, service was great (Alex) . They charge you if you use your credit card and in my case my debit card. My biggest complaint is that the oysters were the size of my thumb nail, so skip the oysters.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Updated 1/20/2026, updated to 5 stars. Maybe I caught an off day last time. Today, although 20 degrees out, the buns were warm, the toppings generous.
Perfectly cooked sabrett hot dog.
$3/dog with one topping is a good deal. The chili had good flavor and texture. Cooked onions were homemade, not out of the jar. Good taste and nice spicy heat.
Always fun eating in the car watching the train go by.”
“Big vibes for a little place. It was a great way to start my morning this morning, from the good mornings and positive and uplifting energy from the employees (from both Pat’s and Coffee Surf) to their breakfast sandwich and the BEST cup of Chai tea I have had in a while. I highly recommend both places.”
“My wife is an excellent baker, who usually makes my birthday cake for me. This year she couldn't, so I bought a cake from Antoinette Boulangerie. I'm a bakery snob. When I'm not eating homemade desserts, I only buy from the best bakeries in NYC and NJ. Antoinette Boulangerie is one of them.
The cake I bought was not pre-ordered; it was a ready-to-go cake for the day I called, which was my birthday. There were three that day: Red Velvet, Chocolate, Lemon-Raspberry. I chose the Lemon-Raspberry: lemon icing, vanilla cake, raspberry filling. It was FANTASTIC. The cake itself was perfectly moist, light and flavorful; the lemon icing was delicious and just the right amount of sweet, not too sweet; the raspberry filling was delicate. These are the signs of an excellent baker. In the past I've also had pastries from Antoinette, usually tarts and eclairs, and they've always been excellent.
My wife thought the cake was so good that she's considering appointing Antoinette Boulangerie as my official birthday baker.”
“Loved this place back in the day!!! Brother used to buy WAYY TOO MUCH 🙃 BUT WE LOVED IT!!!!! My Boy would love this town… New jersey… Radbank… Very good place… Lots of music?? Love to hear it!!! And a lovely view of that water tho!!!😂😂 Custard is 2 die 4!!!! Came by a month ago…Worker was so chill. Young boy. Maybe 15-16-17 Something like that… Would come again just to say thanks to that young man!! Good work🙂”
“I've been to every bagel deli in the area and this one outshines them all. Bagels are perfect and the food is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. So glad my grandson, Nick, introduced me to this place. If you want to relax with friends over coffee, there is a small lounge area or sit at a table to enjoy your food.”
“This is a typical Chinese takeout place with all the familiar dishes and lunch menu items at a typically fair price. Staff is friendly. I wish there wasn't a 10 dollar minimum for credit cards (who carries cash?) but that's not their fault. Food is exactly what you'd expect if you've ever had "hole in the wall" takeout before.”
“Originally was going to stop at Mr. Pizza Slice for some Pizza, but parking and traffic sucks as usual. Went to the West Side of Red Bank and stopped here. Selection is small but took a chance and had a slice from the pepperoni side and one from the plain side. Both were delicious, reminiscent of a typical North Jersey or New York slice. Plain - $2.00 Pepperoni - $3.00 Can of Diet Coke $1.00 Total = $6.00 Both slices folded nicely and are of a good size. Also, service was quick, oven hit enough to heat up to a hot temperature to allow you to enjoy. Recommend to all to give it a try!!!”

“We had a great time with our family. Between burritos, enchiladas y tacos, we enjoyed the flavors and the elegance if their dishes. It offers great options for kids and vegetarian. I feel that the food can be less flavory that what people might expect but for me it was great for my paladar. My grandsons loved the nachos with beans.they also tried the Tamarindo, horchata and maracuya beverages I loved my burrito con carne asada and the coconut flan. Exquisite. They have parking available.”
“One of the best experiences, from the atmosphere to the unbelievably kind staff! The juices were absolutely delicious; we will definitely be back soon.. excited to try the açaí bowls on the cute patio seating next time. And they even have a little sweet treat for dogs!! (dog bowl)
10/10 recommended!! Loved!!”
“Visited Cluck U for the first time today- and they have a life long customer! Andrew had piping hot FRESH food to us in 5 minutes. While my husband and I were eating Andrew sat down and chatted with us about the history of the city, restaurant recommendations and even spoke to us about new facilities they’re building in the area. This morning was rough as we had issues checking into our hotel, but we are so glad that the first place we went to (suitcases in hand) was Cluck U. It easily turned our morning around. Thank you Andrew for the great food and pleasant conversation!”
“My wife and I hired them to do a food truck for after our wedding reception. 15/10 decision. The tacos were incredible esp the General Tso chicken and the bang shrimp tacos. Plus the leftovers that weren't served at the reception hall made great afterparty food. If you like tacos and want to give your late night party crowd a treat after a fun night, highly recommend Tacoholics!”
“Had the Tricolore Salad with grilled shrimp today and it was DELICOUS!!!! Dad has the poke bowl and loved it. Service and atmosphere were great!”

“I’ve been following along and making some of Adam’s recipes recently and am so happy with the results. In particular, the chorizo tostados are outstanding! The tofu chorizo is easy to make and so meaty and flavorful. The cabbage slaw was a huge hit and I’ve made that several times as a side to other meals. Adam doesn’t miss a detail, explains each step, is always funny, and the results are great!”
“Old world Delicious Pizza. Home made Dough not processed. Highly recommended. Sooo good !”
“If I tell you how wonderful the place, the people, the plates are will you promise not to go? It’s hard enough snagging a reservation without hoards of people trying to book a table after reading justifiably rave reviews. OK, here goes. “I’m giving 5 stars for the food, but really for the excellent service provided by Sean. He provided service for my sister and I that was beyond what was to be expected. He accommodated our sitting outdoors and took care of our every need! He was excellent. I only regret that I can’t give him more stars!”

“I visited yesterday morning before work and had a great experience. This location has a team that stands out from other locations. It fits in wonderfully with Red Bank’s culture even though it’s a recognized franchise brand and the coffee is delicious. The chocolate and strawberry croissants are very fresh. I love the modern aesthetic and layout mixed with the friendly atmosphere. I felt like I was in an high end “Mom and Pop shop”. It was also cleaner than most of the local coffee shops. Definitely suggest coming here if you want some reliably quick and tasty food/coffee in a busy Red Bank”
“Catered event for 250 people. The service was excellent and the food was even better! I would definitely recommend it! Delivery was on time, Catering team reached out 24 hours prior to verify all details. Truly was the best experience with a caterer I have ever had. - dpk, mtfd”
“My wife and i just had a baby and I strolled into Sally boy’s because my wife had some cravings. I walked in and met Jeremy and he was kind and welcoming early on. The store is beautiful and even has a walk-up sidewalk counter! I told him why I was there and he offered me congratulations on the newborn and upon checkout, he gave me a delicious dessert for my wife as a gift and offered us many blessings. When I am in Red Bank I will always make sure I stop in to enjoy and support Sally’s and Jeremy’s success.”
“The fresh ingredients, the unique flavors, the spice-level made-to-order and the hospitality make this one of New Jersey's best restaurants!”
