“This place is a hidden gem . We were there the other night with 5 people and everyone loved the food they ordered. We have been there a couple of times since it changed ownership and it’s great. It seems to be empty except on the weekends and I have no idea why. Maybe because it’s a few miles out of town. It’s more than worth the drive in my opinion !“

The meatless lasagna was the perfect dinner for hungry me, serving was huge and the taste is even bigger. We also ordered the meatball sandwich, which the BF inhaled fast? We got a large pie to go and didn't realize it will be that big? Over-all one of the best pizzeria and customer service around.“

“The pizzas were really exceptional. But keep in mind that these are "gourmet" pizzas, so they're smaller than what you would normally get in a pizzeria.
The service was a bit slow and nobody really checked in on us to see how we were doing. It was busy, so I get it, but when we were able to flag someone, they were super nice.“

“I've been going to this restaurant for over 5 or 6 years. The atmosphere has definitely gotten better, but thier service in the restaurant isn't great. I visited last week 1/29/24. There were four of us with no one but another couple in the restaurant. We saw the waitress 2 times. Too busy talking and hanging with management . She looked like his daughter and she was not minding the table. Bar service is nuch better with John.“

The chicken was prepared very well, and the grandma sauce was delicious. The fries that came with meal tasted very food. I will order from here if I am around this place. “We came in with a large group of 8, and a difficult one at that. We had 1 lactose intolerant, 2 gluten intolerant, 1 vegetarian, and my mother — who requests so many menu modifications that she’s basically creating her own dishes.

Tavola Rustica accommodated all of us, and served us the most delicious meal we could ask for. The service was friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. My cousin claimed her gluten-free La Romana was the best pizza she had ever had. My husband and I shared the polpette meatball appetizer, and a Miranda pizza — the combination of egg, truffle, and mozzarella was unexpected and unbelievable. Could not recommend this place enough. We’ll be back as soon as we can. On top of that, BYOB, have fun. ??

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pasta was so good, we had to confirm it was gluten-free. Cauliflower pizza crust was also great. Most restaurants make this too soft but this was crispy and delicious.“

“Having lived in central NJ my whole life, I consider Villa Francesco’s to have the best Italian food around. We rarely eat at the restaurant anymore, so I cannot speak to the service and atmosphere strongly (my wife and I used to love to go sit outside before it became more common after COVID!) but the food is always good. It was almost a year before I had tried anything on the standard menu because their specials were always so amazing! Now, we order takeout and cater regularly. Everything is delicious. Our favorites are the shrimp & scallop di mare and eggplant parmigiana, but I have yet to order something that has not been a crowd pleaser. If you want high quality Italian food, this is the place to go.“

“Despite me asking for something I doubt gets ordered very often, they were very willing to accommodate and made it clear about the wait (which was expected due to knowing how rarely what I was ordering likely gets ordered). Added some slices and garlic bread to the mix. Everything was absolutely delicious, and was ready before I expected it to be.“
