“Tonight I had the pleasure to dine at Bici restaurant in Ramsey, NJ. From the minute I walked in, I knew I was going to like it! You are greeted in such a warm and friendly manner. One of the owners, Marcello makes his rounds around the room speaking to his customers and making you feel at home. Everything I ordered was delicious and the waiters are so polite and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere and I will be back again. Thank you staff for your hospitality. It’s a BYOB. It’s a small restaurant with outdoor dining. Definitely 5 stars!!!!!“

“First time dining and had a magnificent experience. the bread and cheese starter was fantastic. chicken parm, spaghetti pomodoro, and paccheri alla bolognese were all 10s (which is not easy to achieve). the bolognese was the sleeper hit. More than anything, the service was the most important highlight. Gray was our server and made sure we had a fantastic night. Her attention to detail and great timing made us feel so welcome and attended to. Highly highly recommend this place, they’re doing everything right. environment is also so beautiful to boot.“

“Our experience at Pancetta was great! Our waitress Monica, was so friendly, patient and accommodating. She was happy to ask the bar our questions about drinks and answer any questions about food. “Excellent place, I have pretty much given up on buying lunch out because the disappointment ratio has become so high but today I decided to give it another try and just deal with the disappointment of another overpriced less than good sandwich. I work all over northern NJ and it has become very hard to find a real Italian deli however, today I stopped into Angelina's and although I already knew what I wanted I decided to ask what they recommend incase there was a special or maybe they have a best seller. They recommended "the Salvatore" which was exactly what I was after. The sandwich was the correct size and packed full of cold cuts. They didn't do the usual "let's keep making the product smaller but charge more" that you see everywhere. They make a true sandwich and charge a reasonable price. if you look up Italian deli in the dictionary there should be a picture of Angelina's its exactly what anyone who is over 40 years old remembers as a true New Jersey Deli. Thank you for a great lunch! I can't wait to get another job in that area so I can stop in!“

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. “As a creature of habit, when I find something I like, I keep ordering it forever and ever. And as an ex-pat, born-and-raised Italian, pizza is akin to religion and a great tasting pizza is akin to experiencing the Beatific Vision! But enough with the Catholic references! Let’s talk about P&M’s pizza! I have been ordering my usual extra-large pie (half “margherita” and the other half “salsiccia”) since 2008! Over the years, I got to know the owner (who personally makes the pies) and he goes to great lengths to find the best quality ingredients for his pizzas. And you can taste the difference in the flavor of the tomato sauce, the mozzarella cheese, the olive oil, the herbs. As all Italians know, a good pizza begins with the the base—the dough or crust—that must be a perfect balance of crispy-and-chewy, and P&M’s nails it each and every time!

The pie I ordered yesterday was $23 plus tax, (unheard of!!!) which was delivered to my doorstep in less than 20 minutes (please tip your delivery guy) together with a coupon. After you collect 9 coupons, your 10th extra-large, “margherita” pizza is free!!! In 16 years of ordering from P&M, I’ve enjoyed quite a number of free pizzas too!

P&M Classic Pizza and Restaurant is THE place if you want to experience the best pizza in Hamilton Heights!

PS. I didn’t give a star-review for the category “atmosphere” because in 16 years, I’ve only ordered for delivery (I told you I’m a creature of habit).

“This fine Italian deli has been around since 1996. I used to work up the block and came here regularly for lunch sandwiches or a homemade chicken parmesan or eggplant parmesan. I moved out of the area after retiring, and I was back visiting in Hackensack. We went here for lunch hero sandwiches. We all opted for a number 10, turkey with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar. Ooooh, so good! Just like what I remember from 25 years ago. Cosmo looks the same..... just a little older! We washed the sandwiches down with Dr Brown' cream sodas. They also carry Stewart's sodas. Wow! You don't find that delicious soda in a deli often. Cosmo carries the best products! BTW: the sandwiches are loaded up with the ingredients; there's no skimping here. I totally forgot sandwich photos before I ate half, as we all dove in to eat after getting home. Parking is just behind the deli. If you're traveling down Rt 4, get off at either Main St (eastbound) or Kinderkamack Rd (westbound). I highly recommend this excellent Italian deli. It's the real deal!“

Eggplant rollatini and pasta with vodka sauce are always delicious, and seafood entrees are especially good (always fresh and portions are generous).
