“This restaurant was wonderful! From the time I walked in to the time I left the entire experience was exceptional. I was greeted right away and all the staff were very friendly. I sat at the bar and the atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. The bartender Rob recommended a delicious wine that paired well with my dinner. The food was made fast and was so delicious. I would go back again! 10 out of 10“
“Truly nice place to take family or friends. Food is good and affordable. I remember when this place was a junkyard many many years ago but they really did nice things with it. It's clean even the bathroom.Parking: Tough to get into parking lot but it's hugeKid-friendliness: VeryWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I order from here frequently. Some of my favorites are the white slice, I also get Tuna Melt from here and the sandwiches are huge, Antipasto Salad and the chicken pasta with vodka sauce is amazing. I have also ordered catering here for company parties and they have great prices and do not skimp on the food. Two things I love the most is they are a family owned company and they really care about serving their customers also I love they have a huge parking lot attached to the side so you don't have to struggle with street parking. Definitely recommend!!!Parking: Huge lot attached to the side with approximately 15 or so parking spots“
“Experience Lucciola – NYC's finest Italian dining! Immerse yourself in the exceptional 9-course tasting menu, enhanced by expertly chosen wines. Chef Michele crafts each dish with unmatched skill, presenting masterpieces of Italian cuisine. For unparalleled value and a remarkable culinary adventure, Lucciola is your destination.“
“Excellent food and service. I am a visitor in NYC and was referred to the restaurant by friends who had all good things to say about their experience. We are so happy we went there for dinner. The duck was delicious. The pasta was delicious, the sauce was sooo good. We will be back again. Definitely would recommend this restaurant. As an added plus, Gabriele greets his customers, and that made it extra special when he checked in on our table.“
“A wonderful tomato sauce penne fish complete with mozzarella cubes and fresh basil. Noting ordinary-- freshly made with great ingredients. And I came on a cold, rainy evening by myself snd felt very comfortable i will return with friends and family.Dietary restrictions: Nice options for GF diners.“
“I cannot state enough just how delicious the food is here !!! Soooooooooo good !! Everything was full of soo much flavor and the steak had to have been one of the best cooked steaks I’ve ever had perfect temp and seasoning. It’s pretty inside and perfect to go for a date night the ambiance is nice. Definitely recommend this place“
“The food was amazing. I had rigatoni with broccoli and shrimp. My friend had chicken parmesan. The portions are really substantial. We started with the meatball and fried mozzarella appetizers and were full by the time the entrées arrived. The waiter was informative and the staff was on top of their game. Very attentive. Most important, we ordered drinks, I had a gin and ginger with lime and I must tell you that the bartender was not stingy.. We had a good time and I'm definitely going back.“
“One of the best meals I’ve had in a VERY long time. Every dish was a 10. Exciting, innovative, yet still approachable and incredibly delicious. Still thinking about the seabass tartare and the mafaldine with king crab mmmmm. The team there is TOPS. They execute flawless fine dining service in a way that feels genuine, cool, calm and collected. Many many thanks to Whitney, Darnelle, Naomi and Josh. Already looking forward to my next visit.“
“The service was amazing! No large crowds and your free to linger for as long as your like. The brunch menus was great, I highly recommend the avocado toast, the beet salad, and the bolognese sauce. Our servers Roberto and Anisa were friendly and had great drink recommendations.“
“I'd recommend making a reservation if you plan to come here for dinner, especially on the weekend! We came at 5:30 on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy at first, but all the tables filled up as the night went on. It's a smaller restaurant but the ambiance is very classy and the decor is beautiful. You can just tell the food is going to be good when you walk in. We got the burrata and garlic bread as apps - both were really good but the garlic bread was my favorite! I got the short rib pappardelle as my entree, which was delicious and very fresh. They also have a nice wine menu to choose from. I don't remember which wine I got (it was a white wine on the happy hour menu), but it was really good! The service was also great, and our waiter was very attentive. If you're looking for an aesthetic restaurant that almost feels like being Italy, this is the place for you!“
“My second time to Bad Roman and I was impressed once again by the food and the service. The decor is fun. It is always packed for dinner. The noise level is low. Every dish is terrific and I cannot wait to return. The filet mignon meatballs are the best ever! Khalil was a terrific servers and well as the rest of the staff.“
“A perfect dining experience from start to finish. Welcoming staff and expert service made this an unexpected treat. My husband and I started by sharing the special salad chock full of blueberries, blackberries, pomegranate and hazelnuts. For our entrees, he opted for the well prepared black bass special, I enjoyed the pappardelle with sausage ragu. We shared the fresh fruit pastry shell with gelato - a beautiful creation and the perfect way to end our meal. Such a lovely find - can't wait to return.“
“Nice place, on the corner of a building.I took 4 chicken meatballs with polenta, which I found good, but would have been better if they had been a little more generous with the tomato sauce.Good service although perhaps a little slow (except when it came to bringing us the bill...?).Final price for two (a one liter bottle of San Pellegrino water plus two dishes like the ones I described, namely 4 meatballs and polenta as in the photo) 66 dollars, tip included. For honest New York.“
“Not only is this place super delicious as a NY slice but their selection is outstanding along with everyone that works there. The manager Dawn is a sweetheart we’ve hit it off since me and my wife met her. Anyone looking for a great pie this is spot.“
“Amazing!!!! This place is for beautiful, delicious food with personalized service that will leave you with warm memories. We held a party and all the guests were praising food and all 19 members of our party chose different entree. Broad menu , delicious cocktails ( drinks were amazing - we were competing / challenging bar- and were so excited to receive beautiful composition of flavors). Big servings - enough to feed 2 people! They were very accommodating- they offered to open for our party an hour earlier - just for us to have some personal family time - WHO WOULD DO THAT!?! Once we walked in - we were offered to take off and hang our outwear. Warm welcome made us feel especially important! Only thought kept our servers away from us. They were on their toes above our table - and some moments were felt - they are reading my mind.Great for special occasions and beautiful food to have !! We all will definitely come back again!!!Thank you guys for memorable evening !!!!“
“This place is fantastic!!! The pasta was to die for! The lamb pizza I’ve been thinking about since I’ve eaten it! The only hiccup was that they were short staffed in the kitchen so we were there for a very long time AND my husbands steak was over cooked. They did more than enough to make it right and were very apologetic. The place is very cute and homey inside. PLUS BYOB! We will be back again that’s for sure !“
“I love coming back to Sandro but the food did take longer than usual last time. I assume they were just a little busier than usual. But, like always they were accommodating at attentive to the fact that we were sitting and waiting with no food at our table. They seem to always notice the other important details most of all being making the food delicious. One detail that had amazed me is in all my years I have never walked around into a public bathroom and not wanted to leave because it smelled unbelievably amazing! I don't know what diffuser they have in there but I want it for my living room!“
“This was such a pleasant experience. I was craving Mexican food, but as a Muslim, I was thoroughly surprised and pleased to see that this place was halal. The owner and his daughter were so kind and hard at work to make sure every customer was satisfied. The birria burger was amazing and left me wanting more despite being full. I will definitely be back here.“
“I recently dined at Vinateriá and I must say, the food and service were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The menu offered a variety of authentic Italian dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The service was attentive, friendly, and truly made our dining experience exceptional. I would definitely return to this restaurant in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic Italian meal. 5/5 stars.“
“This place is unbelievable!!! My husband and i went for a quick lunch date and man, our only regret is that we hadn't tried it sooner. We got a salad, broccoli rabe, and the classic pizza to share. Everything was amazing. The pizza was like being back in Italy. We also got the nutella desert which should be illegal. Cannot wait to try our way through the menus. So happy to have this wonderful spot in the neighborhood.“
“I’m always skeptical about restaurant in midtown but this is an excellent choice for my friend. And I . The ambiance is calm and gorgeous, beautiful photographs on wall. I love the way the menu lit up when you open it. There wine options is lovely and i totally enjoyed the beets starter. Not so crazy about my lamb chop but the lamb ragu pasta was delish.“
“Very classy interior, old fashioned atmosphere. A bit more expensive than I would be comfortable with. Appetizers and main course were amazing. I had tuna tartare and Jumbo Shrimp Scampi, my husband had New York Strip Steak. It was so good, so delicious! And we decided to order some deserts. It was a mistake though! My Apple Strudel was absolutely different from what I had expected. My husband had a Lemon Sorbet, which had not any test at all and was too icy, it had not a smoothie texture at all. So we had been really disappointed with desert.“
“My wife and I enjoy coming to this restaurant. The food is good well plated and the owner, waiters and busboys are very attentive. Their pizza's are delicious the appetizers are very good and the meatballs in sauce are great, many Italian restaurants fall short on their meatballs not at Ortomare. We have brought our adult son's and their wife's and they like Ortomare Restaurant very much. One of my daughter in law is a General manager to a Michelin rated restaurant and she scores Ortomare very well. Keep up the good work !“
“Ordered the Margarita after hearing they won a competition. I can definitely see why, the crust is crisp and thin with a focaccia-like texture. The sauce is light and flavorful with being to harsh. The cheese is everything it is hyped up to be. We will be back, perhaps sandwiches next time.“
“During my recent dining experience at Quality Italian, the food lived up to its usual standard of excellence. However, I must note that the wait time was considerably lengthy and the ambiance was rather noisy. Despite these drawbacks, I would still consider returning to enjoy the delicious fare.“
“I wish I had found Bella Trattoria sooner! My wife and I have been trying to find some 'go to' dinner spots since moving to the east coast, and I can confidently say we found a keeper. The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect for a date night or a nice family outing and you'll absolutely find something on the menu for everyone. We started with the calamari fra diavolo and the sauce had the perfect amount of spice to it. The main course obviously had to be some pizza but we couldn't decide on one so we tried the veggie and the salsiccia. You guys...they were amazing! The crust was just right and there was plenty to take home for late night snacks. All I can say is I can't wait to go back“
“By far one of the best restaurants in the area. Coming from NYC I would match Verana right up there. Food is excellent and now my wife urges us to take out dinner. As my son said this is the best chicken parm i have had. The service at times is either overbearing /on top of you or just doesnt pay attention to your instructions. Was with another couple who has a stomach issue asked for light sauce on the parm. Instead it was served with more sauce then normal. same thing happened with my family on another occasion and this is one example. if you are lucky ask for a second basket of bread - homemade hot airy bread served with Ricotta, what is betterOwners are very visible and makes sure everything is going wellperhaps to make up for a few servers lack - Food tops everything and it comes out hot and all at same time even with larger partyOH Wait- i forgot to mention - the pasta, home made and is so goodmake it all worth while and should definitely cheat on diet for this“
“WOW! What an amazing meal we had tonight! We had burrata appetizer and Chicken Balsamic Special also the Skirt Steak Chimichurri. ALL were really, really good. Service was amazing... such a nice welcoming and comfortable atmosphere! We will definitely be back.“
“This food is hands down 20/10! The customer service was wonderful & they’re super welcoming and friendly. Their Insalata Di Gamberi was perfect! I don’t rave about salads but the shrimp was very flavorful and all the ingredients are FRESH! Their pastas are house made and you can purchase as well. I got the busa pasta with the assorted seafood 20/10! Dessert was tiramisu which is so rich and fresh! Everything is fresh and delicious a REAL GEM I highly recommend & will definitely be back. Franchesca & Juan are great with wonderful energy!Vegetarian options: YesKid-friendliness: Yes“
“Gp’s is my favorite restaurant in Hudson County hands down. The best artichokes to start and a Peroni in a cold glass. I usually let the master “ server “ Mr. Joe order for me JUST CAUSE his family & I go way back. We take a picture every-time. If you haven’t experienced GP’s ambience, staff & food you really need to live a little. ⚡️“
“I consider myself a foodie. One of our son’s recommended this place. My wife and I ordered ahalf meat lovers and hot honey heaven pie . From the very first bite we were blown away. The mix of such amazing ingredients made the pie very, very flavorful. It’s totally different than all the other great places in this metro area. Do yourself a favor a visit the place soon. Can’t wait to return.“
“This place is definitely the talk of the town. Just before we walked in the doors we had a local telling us that it was a great Italian place and we wouldn't be disappointed. He couldn't be closer to the truth! We enjoyed great service from the staff, a good ambiance, and delicious food. The food came out of the kitchen in what seemed like five minutes and it was good. Wouldn't recommend linguine bongole if you are sensitive to spice because of the pepper flakes, but it was still a great dish. The pizza and the penne vodka were out of this world flavor, and for a reasonable price too. If you are looking for an Italian place that has won the hearts of the locals, this is the place for you.Vegetarian options: If there is a dish with meat, you can ask them to take it out.“
“We experienced great service at this farm to table brunch spot. Everything we ordered was delicious. We will certainly be back for dinner. We loved the classy garden interior decor. This restaurant takes reservations. Parking is street parking, thus it is sometimes hard to find.“
“LOVED this place. The pizza was fantastic (much better than most neopolitan places in the US, though the pizzas are a bit more busy ingredient/topping-wise than your usual neopolitan pizza), had a great salad. I loved that they had a bunch of imported Italian beer, most of which I’d never even heard of before but was really fun to try. The tiramisu was amazing - tasted truly homemade with actual mascorpone, lady fingers, and the right amount of coffee and cocoa powder. And the lemon sorbetto was surprisingly great and came served in an actual lemon!! Will def go back. One of my favorite discoveries in NYC.“
“We were recommended Arias Hells Kitchen by a friend. We met up with my cousins from England and Ireland in Manhattan and Arias was superb! From greeting to food and atmosphere an absolute delight! Thank you Mark! Your wait staff were attentive, polite and understanding and explained patiently the menu to our overseas cousins. We loved everything, the ambience , the menu and meals. Mark you are indeed a professional and know what makes your customers happy!“
“I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place“
“Great addition to the UES. Excellent food, try the prosuitto, fig and melon appetizer if they have it. The carpaccio was so good and the deserts! The wait staff was very attentive and refilled our water glasses often. The owner was lovely and sweet. I will be back with my family soon.“
“The only proper Italian coffee in Harlem, or for that matter most of NYC. Sit down and savour a finely made caffeinated beverage in a nice ceramic cup! They also have spectacularly great house-made pasta, and delicious pastry. Great vibe, staff, and hang.“
“My partner and I were so grateful to the Il Divo team for hosting us for a wedding lunch! Excellent service, unique and authentic Italian food, and absolutely stunning decor. I had the squid ink spaghetti with sea urchin (uni) and caviar. So decadent! I will absolutely be returning to try their dinner menu.“
“Thank you Eddy! You made us so welcome. And we are so glad. The happening room, the hustling kitchen, delicious and surprising food (l’ insalada rabe with fennel, orange, olive, almonds, red onion … ) and happy diners. This is exactly what a curious wanderer of the planet wants to find - and that is not easy. An atmospheric place where smart young locals go. The primitivo was excellent and the delicate house made ravioli special of ricotta, porcinis, shaved parm and truffle oil in a light sauce - bellisissima! A panna cota with the moscato - to be remembered and your smooth attitude. Excellent. Grazie.“
“Feeling at home, even if home is far away. This is the first emotion you feel when you are welcomed by the staff in this small, but big-hearted, restaurant in Manhattan.Enzo and Salvatore, the owners, are people of feeling, and it is precisely the latter that the delicious dishes offered on the menu arouse. The first evening I tasted an amazing Capricciosa pizza. Good like this, sometimes, not even in Naples! Very light. I am very sensitive to yeasts, because I am allergic to nickel, but the excellent leavening did not cause me any discomfort, other than the very strong desire to return the next day to taste other typical recipes of the Italian tradition. The next evening, in fact, I returned to taste the eggplant Parmigiana. Delicious... The sweet sauce, because the one made with real Italian tomatoes, was immediately appreciated, fascinating the palate...The meatballs (Salvatore was very keen to let me try them, and he did well!) seemed to have been made by my grandmother... So many memories... They moved me...I work in the Italian food & beverage sector, I understand if the products used are of good quality. These were excellent!A rating from 1 to 10?1000!Thank you, Enzo and Salvatore, for our new friendship, and for being an Italian excellence in NYC!“
“I so wanted to like this place - pricing is fair for lunch. But I'm confused by all the five stars, the food is mediocre, I was hungry and I didn't finish either of my dish (octopus and the pasta with duck). Might come again for a cocktail but not food.Adding one star for the good service.“
“Exquisite and homey - a rare combination. A Neighborhood feel to this gem. Just a beautiful Old World Italian environment put us in a right frame for The Met Opera House. Gorgeous hand painted murals, excellent wait staff, knowledgeable and kind. The food and wine did not disappoint our expectations. Pricey but worthwhile for special times.“
“Great food, great service, really nice atmosphere. We met dear friends for dinner and had an awesome evening! Every course was excellent, Stephanie our server was terrific, and as we waited for our ride home, Salih said I am going through Ridgewood I will give you a ride. Wow! Talk about full service.“
“Upper East has some serious (tucked-in) parlors. Italian cuisine is close to my heart & this one doesn't disappoint.Had their pasta twice, and they keep the menu short & to the point. If you are in the area do check them out even though its a very tidy small place. Pasta is el-dente in all ways possible & serving is generous.* Close to the Q train.“
“Had a blast at Bocca. The ambiance is beautiful, attentive service and great portions. The calamari was super fresh and the Ahi tuna tartare was out of this world. The lamb chops was seasoned well and the pasta carbonara, I couldn't get enough. The table side tiramisu was beautifully presented and very unique to other tiramisu I had in the past. Great spot for birthday, date night and/group get together.“
“We just came back from a week long vacation in Italy. This place was definitely on par with many Italian restaurants we tried in Rome and Florence! The food and service were excellent. The price was obviously higher than in Italy but comparable to other Italian places in the City. We will definitely come back.“
“This is our go to restaurant. Sam and the rest of the staff are fantastic! They make you feel at home and you never feel rushed. In all the years we have been dining here we have never had a bad meal! I could go on and on but the best thing to is to dine there yourself.“
“Excellent, excellent pizza...You can tell these guys are pizza experts. Their pizza had all of the following in each and every bite:-The CRUNCH << NO sogginess (this is major for me..)-Correct sauce to bread ratio..-The taste of the sauce was spot on..-The pizza was NOT oily or greasy at all..-It had the long pull of the cheese.. << Oh my goodness.-The chicken parm on top - was just gorgeous, chicken was perfectly cooked, it glistened from the sun rays..-Nice SOFT CRUST.. (You can eat the entire pizza including the crust - this is a deal breaker for me..)-Descent prices (they have a great lunch deal..)Give this place a try if you are in the area - I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!I will be back for more and to try other items on the menu...Parking: Limited # of spots - but, should be able to find something...“
