“This place is just so good, I honestly don’t even know how to explain it properly. It really is my absolute favorite Italian restaurant and definitely the best top quality Italian food around. Every single item on the menu is outstanding every single time, never once have we gone and had anything less than an amazing meal. My family goes here constantly because it’s just that reliable and that delicious. And the owners? They treat my grandparents like actual family. They’re genuinely some of the kindest, most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet, and it shows in every interaction. The whole vibe is warm, welcoming, and so genuine. And the food… unreal.

The boneless chicken dishes are on a different planet. They pound the chicken so thin—like literally the thinnest, most perfect delicious cutlets I’ve ever seen—and they’re always full of flavor, super high quality, and just ridiculously good. Their chicken parmigiana and chicken francese? Best we’ve ever had anywhere. No competition. If you like chicken, order anything and you’ll be happy.

The seafood is just as amazing: fresh, beautifully cooked, always presented like they truly care. We’ve tried so many specials over the years and every single one has been perfect. It’s BYOB, which makes it even better.

I recommend this place to literally everyone. It’s honestly a gem, and once you go, you get it. Definitely try to make reservations because they stay busy … but for good reason. This restaurant is seriously incredible. Go here!!!!“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“San Sabino in New York gets a solid 4 out of 5 from me. The food was tasty and fresh and compared to their sister restaurant is definitely more fish forward. I made a point to try some of their most popular dishes. The lobster ravioli was flavorful and well executed. The cheese appetizer was balanced and nicely presented, though I would probably pass on it next time. The star of the night was the spicy tuna appetizer, which really stood out in both flavor and texture. The decor is beautiful and creates a great atmosphere, and the service was friendly throughout the meal. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.“

“Is very hard to find a good quality and real pasta in NYC. Pasta cacio Peppe and puttanesca were very good and soooo delicious. Everything was very fresh. As expected service was super attentive and very friendly and kind.

I ordered the honey pepperoni pizza. I ate the whole thing minus a few crusts. The sauce was delicious.

“I really came fully prepared to hate on this place, most of all because C picked it, but also because it is hyped to death. Further hatred materialized when I waited in line for our reservation and felt like a schmuck.

Then I realized the line wasn't for people with reservations, I went inside, we were seated immediately, our waiter was fabulous, the food was fabulous, and the wine was fabulous. Everything was phenomenal and extra, extra good.“

“Loved this small 100 year old Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village. The food was delish, but even better than the food was the atmosphere and the staff. Our waiter was Tony. Not only was he funny, he knew his pasta! We felt like old friends by the time we left! The bartender was not only beautiful to look at, he too treated us like old friends! “I have Celiac's disease and need to be GF for life. I loved that they had gf appetizers. I got the GF calamari and shared it with the table . No one complained about it being GF. I had the chicken parm with the gf pasta. It was delicious. I wish I had time to try the GF desserts but I had to catch a train back to Albany. This restaurant is the Best GF Italian in NYC. Will definitely come back next time I am in the city!“
