“I was recommended this restaurant by a nearby hotel. The food chef Bennie prepared was great. Really well prepared and the service provided by Monica was fantastic. Very attentive, polite and informative.
I'll certainly be back during my stay.“

“We don’t dine out frequently, but when we do, we love Amarone! We had not been there in quite some time, so we went to celebrate my birthday. From the moment one enters, one feels welcome. The atmosphere combines elegance and comfort, warmth, and the delectable aroma of culinary delights to come. Charming, funny, and attentive, Tony provided us with excellent service. The food was fantastic. We started with the clams oreganata. The white wine sauce made an excellent accompaniment. My husband had the ribeye steak accompanied by shrimp scampi, broccolini, and mashed potatoes. I tried the grilled veal chop. With mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes, it was superb. We will be back!“

“Today I was delighted with the service at this restaurant, the young man who served me was very neat, gentle and very polite.
The food is lovely, the chicken with slices is according to its price, I was very surprised by the simplicity, but at the same time how charming this place is.“

“Easily the best pizza in Teaneck, and one of the top pizzerias in NJ. Their Drunken Grandma pie is one of the best slices I’ve ever had. The garlic knots are cooked perfectly, with nice crispy exterior and soft inside. Staff is extremely friendly. Overall a fantastic experience.“

Most times we get family Pie which is HUGE bbq chicken wings always cooked to perfection and chicken parm hero. The slices are delicious also.27 years and counting eating their food when we don’t cook.Definitely a go to for pizza Parties and school functions. Thanks so much for consistency and delicious food and great service.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Absolutely amazing !! Convenient coat check. Beautiful environment. Food was just incredible and coursed out perfectly. very affordable, considering the experience and quality of food and comparing to other restaurants in the area. Loved the complementary dessert tasting at the end of the meal. Would totally go back to do the tasting menu, but we will not be in town - we're from WI and visit the city often. “Solid neighborhood spot. The downstairs is more of a bar (but still serving real food), while upstairs is sit-down and family friendly. The orecchiette was tasty, and the pesto had a nice fresh flavor. The sopressetta and hot honey pizza was a great balance of flavors and a touch of heat. For dessert, we had the banana bread pudding, which was cinnamon-y and cozy.“

“Casa Lever is simply one of the absolute best Italian restaurants in New York City. Every time you go, it’s a sure thing.
The ambiance is beautiful. The room, the lighting, the artwork, everything feels elegant and thoughtfully designed. It’s classic New York with a refined Italian sensibility that runs through every detail.
The food is spectacular. You can tell they use the best ingredients and care deeply about quality, down to the smallest touches. Everything feels intentional and elevated.
The service is equally exceptional. Antonio, the maître d’, is wonderful. He is friendly, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The entire team makes you feel taken care of without ever being overbearing.
And the attention to detail really extends everywhere. The bathrooms are immaculate and always have an attendant, stocked with beautiful products from Santa Maria Novella and Diptyque. It’s a small thing, but it says a lot about the level of care they bring to the entire experience.
As part of the Sant Ambroeus family, Casa Lever represents the very top tier of what they do. It’s a true New York staple and has been for years. In my opinion, it’s one of the best.. if not the best Italian restaurant in the city.“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. Just go, you won't regret it.“

“Truly lovely experience all around. We were welcomed into this cozy spot by a friendly staff with Kimi taking extra care to make our evening pleasant. Seating is limited with reservations becoming necessary to guarantee a space, but honestly the space is the perfect set up for good conversation. The wine list was nicely curated—we chose the 2017 Super Tuscan, which was smooth, rich, and paired well across the meal. We began with the antipasto. The quality was immediately apparent... the prosciutto was buttery on the palate and the house pickled veggies added a bright, fresh note. For the mains, the cacio e pepe had the perfect creamy texture (I need the chef to teach me their ways for this!), well-balanced salt to black pepper, and good bite to the pasta. My husband was lucky enough to snag the final duck ragu special of the evening and (wow!) we're so glad to have done so. Perfectly cooked with tender meat and flavors that transported us right back to the osterias on the streets of Italy. We ended with the tiramisu (light and creamy) and a pistachio affogato, which did get a bit outshined. Hospitality was top notch here making this is a “must add” meal experience for your list. We will definitely be returning for more.“

“Authentic Italian food and atmosphere in Astoria. We dined on a weekend evening, the restaurant was quite busy, but Valerio and the team were very kind and welcoming, and they accommodated us with short waiting. The ravioli were well cooked (al dente) and tasted delicious! We also tried their tiramisu and it was spectacular! The whole time we spent there we felt as we were in Italy, definitely recommended!“

“Wonderful location across the street from Westin Grand Central. We had Pollo Al Limone and Grigliata Mista Di Pesce. Very good, chicken was a little overcooked , but still good. Our server, Flabio(sp) was wonderful. Disappointed that our 40th anniversary was not acknowledged. I put it in the reservation comments . Will return though. Please go to this hidden gem on E42nd street!!“
