Our friends had the linguine with clams and a chicken special. Both said the loved their choices and they were delicious. The service was excellent and friendly and the prices and fair to high. “There's an axiom that you get what you pay for. It isn't always true. But in Grissini's it is. It is pricey but service is impeccable. Very attentive without being overbearing. Salads are perfectly dressed, seasoned and fresh. My special of morels with fettuccine in a veal stock with a touch of vermouth was out of this world. My wife's vegan and her vegetables in garlic and olive oil were perfect. And entrees, as always, were served hot. Eating here is a true dining experience.“

“Came to L'incontro for a casual lunch on a Saturday around 2p. Did not have a reservation and was immediately seated. I gotta say, the service was excellent! Many waiters were serving us and they were constantly checking if we needed something. They were refilling out waters all the time and it was just very polite. What was interesting is the "daily special menu", the waiter was standing their reading about the daily special for like at least 5 mins and we had to stop him from continuing. Either way, we got the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was very yummy. My husband got the veal and it was not the most photogenic dish, but tasted much better than it looked. We also got the octopus, which was soaked in balsamic, also very nice. Overall a very nice traditional Italian place.“

Veal mostly tender. One piece was little chewy. We also ordered the ravioli special. They were stuffed with artichoke and cheese. Really flavorful and cooked perfectly. We came at 5:30 on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy at first, but all the tables filled up as the night went on. It's a smaller restaurant but the ambiance is very classy and the decor is beautiful. You can just tell the food is going to be good when you walk in. We got the burrata and garlic bread as apps - both were really good but the garlic bread was my favorite! I got the short rib pappardelle as my entree, which was delicious and very fresh. They also have a nice wine menu to choose from. I don't remember which wine I got (it was a white wine on the happy hour menu), but it was really good! The service was also great, and our waiter was very attentive. She promptly sat us at our reservation time. However we didn't like our initial table... no problem! She moved us to a better location. Like Europe, I don't think we had an assigned wait staff. This was not a problem, however we are pretty sure we had the manager take our orders. Without disclosing names... I will call her "E." E was magnificent! She gave great recommendations. She moved here from Sicily. As a result she has a great accent!! Authentic. And felt like we were back in wonderful Italy! The wine and the food was fabulous. We really enjoyed this restaurant. “My husband and I went to burrata for dinner today. It was a Saturday so we did have to wait around 50 minutes, so I would suggest making a reservation online if possible. We grabbed a drink at the bar next door while we waited. I really liked a the ambiance of the place- modern yet homey feel. Service was excellent, food came in a timely manner. We ordered the Araninci which was delicious, the burrata - yum. For mains we ordered the pappardelle which was really good, and the mushroom jalapeño pizza which we also enjoyed. For dessert we had the tiramisu which from a distance I thought looked like a store bought tiramisu because they wrap it in one of those plastic pieces to keep it together, but once the waiter opened it up all of the cream at the top fell to the sides like lava! It was really good- coming from someone who is very picky about tiramisu! Drinks- I had an espresso martini (no baileys) which was also good Definitely will be coming back here- with a reservation next time!“
