Vegetarian options: There are a few options on the menu, but they can accommodate with certain dishes.

Dietary restrictions: Let the server know, as they can accommodate for dairy and gluten.

Parking: Hard to find a spot as it's in midtown just off Park Avenue.

Kid-friendliness: Can work for kids if early enough, but no kids' menu that I saw.

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. Just go, you won't regret it.“

The restaurant staff show great professionalism They were warm, attentive, and welcoming, providing prompt service. The cocktails were strong but both tasty and refreshing. From the pizza to the tartare to the pasta, everything was freshly prepared and full of flavor. It’s literally nothing like authentic, freshly prepared pasta and they nailed it. Good cocktails; to start loved Patrick’s Focaccia, the 24 mo. Prosciutto di Parma, fritto misto, fluke crudo and escarole salad; for mains, all the pastas were great as were the heritage chicken, the swordfish and the porchetta. “Craving Cacio e Pepe tonight, I decided to drop by Sotto La Luna for takeout. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Francesca, one of the owners, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She suggested that I dine in at the bar, and I’m so glad I took her advice.

Sitting by the bar gave me a front-row seat to the culinary magic happening in the kitchen. Watching the chefs expertly prepare their pasta dishes was a delightful experience, and the ambiance of the restaurant only enhanced the experience. The decor is tasteful, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere.

As for the food, my Cacio e Pepe was served directly from a cheese wheel—an indulgent touch that made the dish all the more delicious. The flavors were spot on, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Every bite was a testament to the quality and care that goes into the food here.

“We came here on a whim for my husband's 33rd birthday since my dad gave us money to specifically have a fancy dinner for his birthday and WOW did this restaurant not disappoint! Our waiter's name was Anselmo and not only was he extremely attentive and very gracious, but gave us drinks and desserts on the house for my husband's birthday when I mentioned offhand how the experience was fabulous, only making the total dining excursion even that much more amazing, not even to mention how great the food was?? I haven't had zucchini that wasn't fried that blew my mind in... maybe 10 years?? And the rigatoni vodka sauce was, in my extremely critical husband's view, "probably the best vodka sauce I've ever had". Seriously. It is WORTH the price tag AND THEN SOME for a special occasion (or if you're just in the mood for a fancy night out).
