“I chose the hotel in part because there was a restaurant on site and was hoping for the best. It honestly wasn't bad. It was less restaurant and more chairs and tables and a bar and some TV screens set up in the lobby of a hotel, but the food wasn't bad. I had a glass of red wine while I looked at the menu served by a very pleasant waiter. I decided on the calamari and beet salad. The calamari weren't bad. But the best I've ever eaten, but not bad at all. They were nicely breaded and fried, crispy and not greasy. The beet salad was okay. It was arugula, some thin apple slices, (canne) beets, and then sheets of Parmesan on top. I would have liked a more pungent dressing and maybe some walnuts or pine nuts. It was kind of basic. I ordered the tiramisu for dessert based on the waiters recommendation. Honestly, I make it better. I didn't taste any espresso, no mascarpone...It was a weird light brown color? Anyway, don't go out of your way to eat here, but if you check in and don't feel like battling traffic to find something to eat, you'll have a fine dinner.“

“Had a great experience with Pomodoro Pizza & Italian Restaurant. This place is a true Fort Lee classic and has that old-school neighborhood pizzeria charm that’s getting harder and harder to find. The moment you walk in, you can tell there’s history here. The place has style, character, and an iconic feel that makes it stand out from the crowd.

I had a pepperoni slice, and one of the first things I noticed was the size. The slices are huge! The pizza came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor, with a great balance of crispy crust, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door. The owner is an absolute gentleman and was a pleasure to speak with, which made the experience even better.

(he is and will always be linwood pizza of fort lee to me)... this man fed the nightcrawl vips such as myself... the police the bridge maintenance peeps... all of us we night time regulars there... 2. there food is second to none... personally, i used to be corner sicilians & garlic knots... now, i'm the center sicilian & garlic knots... some things never change, some people change very very very little... 3. the counter guy anthony... literally delivered to our family... this is eons ago... but i would say circa 2009... while we were sleeping outside, in a TENT!!! best delivery ever!!! yes, that means i've been a pretty faithful visitor and customer for 13 or more years... 4. nicole, (gus' daughter) and i fell in love (me mainly) with remote control cars running them around like little kids in the linwood plaza parking lot at 330 am. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“The cocktail selection is phenomenal, it’s balanced and delicious, even the people sat next to us agreed! My favorite dish is probably stuffed farfalle with snow crab. It’s creamy and just the right amount of crab, flour and sauce to balance each bite! You’ll be amazed!! Another go to is definitely steak. It’s lightly fried on the outside but juicy inside which is not overly oily, spicy crunch on top adds an Asian style kick. A gem place for sure!!💕“

“We had high expectations for Via Carota, but our experience was mixed. The first fungi dish we received was clearly burned, so we sent it back. The staff handled it professionally and brought us a replacement, but unfortunately the second one was only average and still not as good as we expected.
