“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. If I could give a 10 star I would!“

The schnitzel was delicious as was the carrot hummus. Whatever that chocolate caramel dessert with marshmallow on top is… GET IT! Maybe get two.“

They were very accommodating for our group of six, but I strongly recommend making a reservation!The evening felt easy and enjoyable from start to finish. The wine flights were excellent and a fun way to try a variety of options. Both the Musette flatbread and the salmon flatbread were absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. “Vanguard on the Upper West Side has become a staple for us since we moved to this area 4 years ago. The interior is so charming, the wine selection is always great (and rotates every season), and the folks who work there are absolute gems! Getting to know Isabel and Jacob behind the bar has been such a joy, and they always give the best recommendations. Don’t sleep on the charcuterie board and other light snacks - they’re all delish!“

It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“We've walked by Cello many times so happy to finally had a chance to go for dinner. The host and hostess took great care of us, letting us sample wines until we picked just the right bottle. The cheese plate was generous and delicious and we highly recommend the flatbreads which were amazing. The atmosphere and vibe was warm and inviting. A great spot to catch up with friends over drinks or date night for dinner. We highly recommend it and we will be going back very soon!“

“We LOVO Boro6! It is out Friday night spot (but make sure you grab a reservation!). The staff are super friendly and always attentive. The food is always great — and the bread — I would just eat the bread and be happy! We need more places like this around Westchester! I hope they expand soon.“

“This is a great addition to the neighborhood. Great food, creative dishes, lots of ,gluten free options, lovely atmosphere. The downside is that the waitstaff are not well trained. They just don’t know proper restaurant hospitality skills. Often they don’t know which menu offerings are available , have a laissez faire attitude and or stop by the table too frequently and interrupt conversation. Management : please train your bar staff and wait staff! If that improves you have five star restaurant.“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

Particularly in light of rude and incredibly entitled patrons who, without asking, moved bar furniture around and then berated servers when they politely asked the patrons to move it back.
The staff was lovely, food was great, drinks and wine fantastic.

The bartender initially said they were done for the night but then he said he’d be willing to serve us one round. Really appreciate his generosity in letting us get that round even though I’m sure he was ready to wrap up and head home. Vanguard was a super cozy place to end the night and their sparkling rose is delicious! Will definitely be back“
