“We were searching for a bike for our daughter, most places are completely sold out due to Covid. We went to the Riverdale NJ location, as the website said that they had 6 bikes in inventory- so we thought it was worth the trip! We ran into a store associate- MARY! She was absolutely AMAZING! Went above and beyond- contacted us when the bike we were looking for came in, and then even was able to location a few more items that I needed for my parents. She was an absolute pleasure and WOW! Talk about customer service! I cannot even explain the sheer pleasure it was to deal with her and hope amazingly helpful she was. Trying to give her a shout out any place I can- next is an email to corporate.“

“Absolutely a gem of a place! My daughter got a Cookie Monster milkshake and I got the most delicious mousse cake. Honestly there were so many choices we had to play Ennie Meenie Miney Mo to choose which one to get. Not pictured: the chocolate cupcake she devoured in 2 seconds. Run, don't walk, to Soulmate Cafe.“

“Stopped in for the first time over the weekend and was very happy with our visit! The pastries/pies we tried were all very delicious and tasted like they were made from quality ingredients. Everyone that worked there were also super friendly and helpful. It was hard not to leave with additional goodies that I wasn’t originally intending on!“

“***4 1/2 stars**I'm not sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus.I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye.The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors.In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front.The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.“

“Great hidden cookie spot. Better than any of those chain cookie places like Insomnia, or anything like that. Staff is very friendly and it’s a great local business to support. Typically I’m a chocolate chip guy, but the Oreo ones are fantastic.“

“In 2023 we had our daughter design our wedding cake. We went to many places and some couldn’t design it the way that it was in the sketchbook. They wanted to take off a tier or change the flowers for fake flowers. When we came to Creations we not only found the perfect flavors but they said they could make it the way it was sketched out. They asked for the colors I wanted and the type of wedding to get a sense of what we wanted. Let me tell you, we wren’t disappointed. It was as if the cake came to life. Cake arrived on time and intact. Thank you Creations for being so reliably amazing.“

“My 1st time here as I heard about it from my sister in North Carolina so when I drive by I had to stop in. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who was so knowledgeable in all the different flavors and as a novice myself she helped me to decide on the pumpkin spice ( limited edition) and the strawberry bundle cake! They were very good ,and just enough for one person. I don't like very sweet icing so I didn't eat much of the icing but the cakes were delicious ? will definitely go back again“

“Went to a wedding where the cake was provided from here, absolutely delicious. Everyone who had a slice of their wedding cake was raving about how good it was. I'm not much of a sweets person but the cake was so balanced flavor wise as well as having a perfect texture. Highly recommend and I know I'm dying to try the rest of their menu when I get the chance.“

“This is truly a wonderful spot for stuffed arepa. Very very good service, atmosphere, and exceptional food. I have been to many many stuffed arepas restaurants but none compare to this. I recommend the Bendita Arepa with a colombiana soda ❤️ It’s truly a great spot. Not too overpriced either. The ambient is a great for a family gathering too. Please if you’re feeling iffy about it give it a try very yummy food ❤️“

“I found my new favorite bakery! I was in the area craving a pastry and found this on google, did not disappoint! I tried a few things like a chocolate croissant, powdered donut, tiramisu, cheesecake and a strawberry creme puff. Every single one was delicious, fresh and light. I'm upset I didn't leave with more, a hidden gem and a must try!“

“I visit NJ often and come to taskin for most of my simits and poğaça.So far its the highest quality product I've seen in terms of simit and poğaça.One thing I will note is that the simit is not traditional simit, it has a more fluffy taste and is sweeter then the normal simit. It's still very good but for those who are simit elitist might think otherwise.“

“Very charming little coffee spot! Super chill atmosphere and relaxed. Quiet for days that you want 'work from home' but not be stuck at home. There is plenty of parking with a few municipal lots and street parking as well. We did ceramic painting and there are plenty of options of items you can paint although we just stuck with mugs. I think there is a time limit when you make the reservations for the painting but it was a quiet day and they let us take our time. It is a neat little activity to do on a rainy day with friends and a cute coffee spot if you want a change from dunkin/starbucks in the area.“

The croissant with ham and cheese was spectacular, and the guava buns had the perfect amount of delicate sweetness. The girl behind the counter was patient and explained each offering. “I’ve been a customer of Gandom Bakery for a few years. They offer variety of delicious Persian breads, their Sangak bread is just the best.I always buy 10 Sangak (you have to call and order in advance) and save in freezer. Warm up a couple of slices in the morning and it goes nicely with Feta cheese, walnuts and Persian tea. They also sell all sorts of items required for a Persian kitchen, including spices, nuts, dried herb, pickles, Persian tea, you name it. Great customer service and hospitality too. They always deliver high quality of products with reasonable prices. Highly recommend.“

“Packanack Bakery is actually a pretty good bakery, the staff are friendly and the baked items are delicious, but the crumb cake is the best baked item at that bakery, If you guys want crumb cake, I would recommend you guys going to Packenack Bakery for crumb cake. “Occasionally, my SO and I, go for espresso and pastries. We usually go during the week, after lunch. The place is small, clean, cozy; the lady at the counter is always attentive and polite. We usually sit and enjoy the goodies. The pastries in this place are the closest to the ones in Italy. I should know being Italian and traveling to IT three times a year. “They are actually a pretty good bakery, I’ve been there a couple of times before and I got there banana cream pie once, the fruit cake and chocolate strawberry shortcake and I would say the best thing I ever had there was probably the fruit cake, I’ll probably be going back there one day in the future if I ever want or need to get anything for occasions or just in general“
