“I don’t understand the complaints. I always got really great food here. The general tso’s tofu was always great. The wonton soup was as well. In this area specifically, this is one of the best around. I don’t know if the same person is working the cash register, but a little boy always rung me up and he was perfectly kind. While also doing his homework on the job. The whole family was always very sweet to me.

We got the sourdough focaccia, beet salad, heirloom tomato salad, sungold tomato pappardelle, and stuff pepper with romesco. The tomato dishes were my favorite. You can really taste the quality of ingredients, and I love the additional of fermented items. It’s worth coming out of your way for.“

“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. We concluded with a Turkey tea…it amazingly taste good. Will definitely visit this place again….to Elif,thank you very much.“

“Dottie’s Donuts are the best donuts in Philadelphia. I’ll take the Pepsi Challenge to the crap they sell at Dunkin and I’d pick Dottie’s every single time. They’re quite possibly the greatest donuts in the state of Pennsylvania, which would immediately place them in the state national treasure donut contest. And once Florida is disqualified for not wearing mask, Dottie’s would see the highest standings in the runnin' for greatest donuts, worldwide. Yeah. That good.“

“I've had two different meals here so far, and both were very good. I guess my only semi-gripe would be wanting more sauce. The staff that was present at both visits have been amazing, as well. Vegan and gluten-free, friendly to the max.

“Hidden Gem! The staff- so delightful. Went for the first time and was guided by a magical lady who guided us on how to order. The food- QUALITY. The tacos are stuffed! Prices seem high but when you get the goods, it all makes sense. The two of use ordered a variety of tacos (6) and took two home with us because we were stuffed. “This place is awesome. The food, the staff, the service were all top notch. It doesn’t feel like a stuffy 5 star restaurant but your food tastes every bit like it would at a 5 star. It’s BYOB and one of the wine bottle we brought had a cork that disintegrated and they kindly filtered it all out and put it in a decanter for us. Every single course was delicious!! We each got a different appetizer, two different entrées, and two different desserts. Every one of the appetizers was amazing, but I thought the wax beans by far were the best. The carrots were also delicious and everyone really loved the rice noodles too. Each dish was unique and super flavorful!! The steak appetizer was excellent. My scallops were good but not my favorite mix. The desserts were very good and we had to get them to go so I’m sure they would have been even better fresh. I will 1000% be back. Lobster ravioli was lightly sauced, with plenty of lobster and tender pasta. My partner ordered the strip steak, which he said was ok but I thought it was pretty good. Warm olives, a first for me, was good but more than I could eat by myself. I'd like to try other options on the menu but Caesar salad will be on repeat.“
