I consumed $240 dollars in food and paid $48 dollars in tip, they set the highest tip, the tip is supposed to be according to the service that the waiter gave you, you choose the percentage you are going to give. I didn't see my waitress again until she took the bill. I ended up paying $309 dollars for a bad service. It was the first and last time I visited this restaurant.

El Asadero Mexican Grill Rochelle Park offers decent food, with highlights like the shrimp quesadilla being full of shrimp. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and is known for its fun outings, making it a great choice for celebrations or a simple night out. Customers praise the friendly and attentive staff, who wear traditional Mexican attire. The guacamole is a notable exception, made tableside and described as delicious. The skirt steak is cooked well, and other dishes like the pork tacos and chicken fajitas are also enjoyed, with the fajitas being enough for two people. Many visitors find the environment lively and fun, with a mariachi band moving around the tables adding to the vibrant energy. The staff, including Carlos and Maria, are recognized for their friendliness and attentive service, which truly elevates the dining experience. While service can sometimes be slow and inconsistent, the appealing decor and energetic atmosphere help make up for it. The restaurant is especially popular for celebrations, and many guests consider it their favorite place to celebrate. Customers are advised to pay attention to the tipping process, as a pre-added tip may be charged again on the payment terminal. Overall, despite some service challenges, El Asadero remains a lively and enjoyable spot worth returning to.
