“We came for dinner on a Sunday after a show, the menu was a 7-course tasting menu with an optional 8th course and an optional wine pairing. We opted for the 8th course and my wife did the wine pairing, I got the Sour Plum cocktail which was fantastic. The price was on the low end for a Michelin starred restaurant, making this a comparatively more accessible option for fine dining. The staff was very bubbly and constantly executing elevated soft touches to make for a memorable experience. The dishes had such a vast array of flavors, my favorite was the plum duck but it’s tough to choose from so many strong contenders. There wasn’t a single “miss”. The wine pairing was a perfect complement to the courses, we’d highly recommend opting for it since that took this to the next level. We had an excellent experience and highly recommend Yingtao!

“Stefan the new chef has a wonderful restaurant here with fantastic delicacies to choose from. Standouts are his Tuna sushi on rice cakes with caviar. Amazing. Also the steak frites with truffle fries and the tuna carpaccio...just wow. Stefan also had a delicious tapas served as appetizers a few weeks ago with anchovies and other types of seafood served on toasted baguettes. He is friendly and engaging and a great addition to the Ho-Ho-Kus dining scene. Bought St Eves from the previous owners about 2 years ago. Go and Enjoy!“

“The dumplings were very good, the crispy fried beef was excellent, and the Peking Duck was out of this world fabulous. Service was gracious and skilled. Spareribs were dry and very overcooked. If they would turn off the tacky, noisy disco music, spread out the tables a bit more, and lose the horrible, suffocating scent that permeates the air and smells up the warm hand towels, it would be much more sophisticated and elegant. I’d love to return for more of the food, but please: get rid of that other stuff.“

“Stopped in for a quick meal before a show, boy were we overwhelmingly surprised at how amazing the food was. The burrata was an explosion of flavors in your mouth. It was so delicious we ordered a second. The staff was absolutely welcoming and explained and took the time to chat. Its family owned and definitely deserves your attention. “We highly recommend this place. We been here few times now. We had a surprise wedding party at the private room. The managers, Tom, Tim& Jorge went above and beyond to make sure everything run smoothly. Thank you so much for the amazing food and service at our wedding! Everything was perfect. “We had such a wonderful evening at Fleming's Edgewater. Sergio took amazing care of our family. He was so kind, friendly, and attentive, and he somehow always seemed to know what we needed before we even had to ask. The manager also came by several times to check on us, and you could tell everyone genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. There were six of us, and every single steak was cooked exactly how we liked it. Everything was delicious, and the view made the evening even more special. “Last night my husband and I went to Toba Restaurant and Bar in Westwood for the second time. I am an ambiance girl and love the ambiance here. Food is amazing and service is as well. And did not break the bank. Great menu! Highly recommend“

“Parking is horrible in this area so be prepared to spend some time looking for parking. It took us 30-45 mins to get parking.
Even the parking lot across the street was full.
Parking enforcement is constantly patrolling the area and in the parking lot.
Although the music was very loud, I loved the music they were playing. Old school salsa, cumbia and merengue.
There was a live DJ playing in the back.
In the front by the entrance where we were was the bar.
We were on a hightop table which personally, I do not like since I’m short.
The waitress did not stop to check on us and had to flag her so we could pay the bill and leave.“

“I have to say… Freddy was the man. Great server… I had to also get the name of the guy who was in training to carry us our food. I think his name was naddir (might be spelling that wrong, apologies). We only found out he was training after getting friendly with everyone serving us and he did a great job. Also, thank you to Diana for the recommendation on the outdoor table in the back. It’s lovely back there, highly recommended.“

“We had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Ivy Inn! The entire evening was flawless, from the fantastic ambiance to the truly satisfying food.
Here is a breakdown of what made our night so special:
The Starters: I kicked things off with a beautiful Caesar salad, as seen in image.png. The greens were perfectly crisp, and it was generously topped with shaved parmesan cheese.
The Main Courses: Every single dish was cooked to perfection. The steak seen was incredibly juicy and tender, beautifully grilled and paired with perfectly seasoned asparagus, carrots, and a delicious potato gratin. The salmon dishes shown were equally phenomenal—perfectly flaky, bursting with flavor, and served over a generous bed of seasoned rice and fresh vegetables.
The Drinks & Dessert: We treated ourselves to some wonderfully refreshing, frothy cocktails to toast the night
To finish off an already excellent meal, we enjoyed a slice of rich, layered carrot cake with smooth frosting and a touch of caramel sauce.
The atmosphere was cozy, warm, and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a memorable dinner out. Chelsea played the harp amazingly. Excellent food, wonderful drinks, and top-tier service. We will absolutely be back!“
