Update March 2026: Been back 3 times since bad experience. They must have had a bad day then. Each time now food is good, well prepared, and staff is friendly and efficient. Thank you 🙏 for improvements!“

Nice ambiance with high ceilings and lights. Very rustic and casual. The hot sauce is really hot so be careful. Should have gone with mild or medium. Mind you i do like hot sauce so when i say hot is hot its really is.. But the sauce had a kick to it.

“I recently visited Sabor De Mi Pais Restaurant, and I had a great experience. As soon as you walk in, you are warmly welcomed. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

They offer a wide variety of food options to choose from. I ordered white rice with pollo al horno and beans, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My coworker also loved their meal and said the food was amazing.

“The Livingston CARS restaurant was small, but it was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and chatted with us a little bit before we left. We ordered take-out, and everything was well-packaged and clearly labeled so it was easy to sort out the items for our family members. The food was delicious and filling. “I love a good double Italian hotdog and the best place to get one is here! They have the freshest bread and the food just tastes incredible! They are reasonably priced and give you good portions. “I place a pick up order and it says it’ll be ready at 8:30. I show up around 8:30 and tell the person in front that I have a pick up order. She just points to the screen and tells me to order. I tell her I had one for pickup and she shakes her head no and tells me to show her. I show her the confirmation on my phone, and she looks confused and goes to the back. She comes back and tells me to wait about 10 minutes. I already paid so I just decide to wait. It definitely took more than 10 minutes and I was just frustrated because how do you not know there’s a pick up order? It wasn’t even busy so I was just confused. I like to give her the benefit of the doubt cuz she probably honestly didn’t see it. It was just kinda inconvenient. The food was actually really good. I’m not too mad about it, just something to point out about my experience.“

“Very first visit to the Paterson location. Came from work and searched for places to eat in the area. Very cute place. Very clean and the hostess was nice. She Let us know there were lunch specials . Food was fresh and tasty. Lots of options and all lol as amazing as the Bacon cheeseburger that I ordered and the Wonder burger ordered by my friend. There are different prices for cash and credit. I suggest you bring cash. They have a nice patio and area that can be used for gatherings. The only part I didn’t like was that they add a 15% gratuity w/o notice before spinning around the payment terminal. . I didn’t realize that and added a tip. So they got a double tip. Let me be the one to double tip. Make sure you tell your customers that you auto add tips or you may not have returning customers. We appreciate the restaurant industry and your contribution, but let the customer decide on tip. Other than that , it was a good experience.“

I usually order in-store because I find it better than using the app. The staff is nice, though sometimes the music can be a little loud. There can be a bit of a wait at times, but it’s never too long. It can get expensive if you’re ordering for a big family, but I still think it’s worth it overall.“

“We held our son’s 5th birthday party here, not only did we have a great time but I was SO impressed! Margaret was amazing to work with, she helped us book the party and order platters. We had two attendants dedicated to our party. They were absolutely incredible. I had nothing to worry about—they literally handled every single detail from the cow’s appearance to the bubble machine, the chalk board to food being set up and served to DECORATIONS and goody bags.

I admit that I forgot about the goody bags but they gave each child a small cow, coloring book and crayons, chocolate chip cookie and gift card for a free treat. They also have gift cards to all of the adults too. We are so grateful that they took such wonderful care of us.

“OMG I haven’t been to this location in years but to my surprise the employees friendly. And this was at 11pm on a Saturday night, even to the drunk man in front of me.

These employees can’t be making a lot of money so being friendly has to be a challenge. The lady even showed me how to get free food for filling out the survey“
