The prices were reasonable, delivery was quicker than they stated, and the food was delivered piping hot. I mean hot as if they cooked it in the car outside my house. And absolutely delicious. “I was looking for a good spot to get Chinese food, after a not so great experience elsewhere in the area. Stuck to the basics and ordered Sesame chicken, egg roll, and egg drop soup and was pleasantly suprised. From other places I'd order sesame chicken and it felt heavy with so much sauce. The chicken here was great quality wise, and everything I ordered was spot on. I want to add that the staff was very friendly. I'll definitely be coming back soon.“

“My new favorite Chinese-American takeout place - has all the standard menu items you'd expect to find at very fair prices. The portions were generous and the shrimp in my dish were large, fresh and plentiful. Food was very tasty. There are a few tables and comfortable chairs for people to wait or to eat the food there. The service was efficient and friendly. They have the sauce packets and fortune cookies on a counter for you to help yourself, I appreciate they don't charge for 'extra' packets like at some places. There's also an ample parking lot.“

“I was at first excited when Dao Madison moved into town and even more excited when I was told they can accommodate gluten free as I have celiac. After several miss steps with mixed up orders, Dao is now cooking on all cylinders. We recently were there with friends and everyone loved it. Moreover, they have successfully accommodated my need to eat gluten free (I have celiac) several times, and have been pro active in suggesting what is easier and safer to make gluten free. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Sometimes I’m not crazy about the amount of meat but remember that I’m not paying $15 or $20 for a pint here, and the low prices are supporting a skeleton crew.“

The sushi was super fresh and they had lots of menu items that were very unique like the dinosaur egg(fried lobster with layers of avocado on top). The dumplings were outstanding. “Casual take out Chinese with poor parking and a storefront that shows its time. Food preparation was quick. Food is fresh and delicious. My order is general tso chicken. As show in the attached photos, the chicken fills up the side of the container and is not layered over rice like some places do to cut costs. The portion is generous and I'm sure they just barely closed the lid. The chicken is cooked perfectly, lightly battered, fried to a crispy exterior and moist interior, I'm guessing dark meat which I prefer anyway. The sauce is tasty in this americanized version. The broccoli is fresh and healthy and steamed perfectly. The fried rice is excellent with pork, bean sprouts, green onions, and yellow onions. This rice was cooked expertly with wok hei, which is char, giving the rice a undertone of smoke. I'd pair this rice against that of upscale restaurants. Pork in the rice is abundant. Exerything in this order was fresh and cooked perfectly. My one negative is that general tso is supposed to have szechaun peppers and have heat, but this was sweet which is on par for most americanized Chinese eateries in the tri state area. As a visitor, I'm saddened I don't live closer to here as I would visit frequently. I do cook Chinese cuisine at home and can appreciate the technique and flavor in this order.\nOverall, excellent!\n\nEdit. This is now my third time coming here. The quality is consistently excellent. As I enjoy my lunch again I can taste that the oil use is fresh and clean.\nChinese has been my favorite cuisine since I was a child. The flavor of the food is excellent, the pork fried rice was on point and freshly made, the orange chicken was a bit mushy more on the softer side. If they can fry the chicken a little bit crunchy it would be perfect. The eggroll I'm not a fan of but it was okay. I enjoyed the food, and that will be my new goto restaurant from now on.“
