“I recently had the opportunity to visit Number 1 Chinese Express and I can confidently say that it has become one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff which made the experience even more enjoyable. The menu variety is impressive, offering a wide range of traditional Chinese dishes. I decided to try the General Tso chicken and lo mein noodles. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the sauce had just the right balance of sweetness and spiciness. The lo mein noodles were full of flavor, with a soft texture and a delicious mix of fresh vegetables. One of the highlights of my visit was the speed of the service. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, my order arrived in no time, hot and freshly made. Additionally, the portions were generous, offering excellent value for money. The restaurant's atmosphere is simple but cozy, ideal for both a quick meal and a quiet dinner. The cleanliness of the place is also worth mentioning, as everything was spotless.“

“This place has great food!-I used to live in the same apartment building on East First Avenue in Roselle with the employees who used to work there.-They were my good neighbours back in 2000.-I am staying in Southern Thailand right now in a small town called Songkhla.-Hello again my friends!“
“I got my food delivered to my hotel room the the crab Rangoons were super thick and didn’t have much filling. I also got egg drop soup with dumplings and the same trend repeated. Thick dumplings not much filling. The lo mein was the best out of everything. Not horrible but not amazing.“

“Had to drive over 45 minutes to get to this place. I’m giving this a 5 star because this is probably the best fish soup you are going to get in NJ. There are however much better places for this in Flushing Queens which would be double the driving time for me. The fish soup is good. Not the best. For the best, my go to place is still this place called Fish With You in Flushing. Give this place a try! Everything is good.
Update: had the comb for 2. The fish came under flavored. Needed some time to marinade in the soup. After it was better. We got the fried pork belly which is good. But can’t have too much because it is heavy. The glutinous cubes were fried so it was crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside. The syrup is used to dip and it serves as a good dessert to finish the meal off.“

“The soups at Nai Brother are amazing! If you like pickled flavors, this is the dish for you. So far, we've tried the house signature and the sour pickled pepper with flounder. I highly recommend them, and we plan on going back to try more flavors. What I like best is that this dish is large enough to share.“

“The food was delicious. This is a family owned restaurant and we were treated with wonderful kindness and just the right amount of attention. There are not a lot of this style of Mongolian stir-fry places left, and this is by far the best of them.“

“Lucky Foo in Kearny, NJ: The Real Deal Chinese Experience
If you're looking for that authentic, no-frills Chinese spot, Lucky Foo is for you.
If you're expecting some fancy American-style service, you might be in for a shock. But trust me, that's part of the charm. It's just one person cooking and one serving, and their mission? Get that homemade food to you, no matter how long it takes. Don't come here if you're in a rush - this is slow food at its finest. I learned about this style of service living in Hawaii, so it felt familiar to me.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. It's clean, packed with homestyle flavor, and will leave you feeling satisfied. That noodle soup? Pure magic. When I'm craving authentic, homemade noodle soup, this is the spot I head to. It's not an everyday thing, but when that specific craving hits, Lucky Foo delivers.
The vibe inside is something else. It's quiet - like, eerily quiet - and filled with what looked like college-age Asian students. No background music, no chitchat, just people focused on their bowls or phones. It's an experience, I'm telling you.
Don't expect any fancy menus - it's all up on the wall. And heads up, it's cash only. But honestly? The food is so good, you won't even care.
If you're after authentic Chinese cuisine without any of the fuss, Lucky Foo is your spot. It might not be for everyone, but for those who get it? It's a little slice of homestyle heaven right here in Kearny.“
