The service is friendly and helpful. The owner even delivers your food to the car if it's not ready when you get there. It's a little pricey compared to other places around here, but the food is definitely a notch above as well. There's an additional charge for ordering online, so call in your order if you're looking to save a few bucks. I highly recommend Miso Sushi!Vegetarian options: There was 1 vegetarian option in the sushi section and I in the tempura section. There's a tofu teriyaki on rice dish as well. “Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty.The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.“

The salmon skin salad and carpaccio-tuna/salmon is a must try. Often times you try new sushi spots they can be skeptical but food quality and presentation is on point.“

“This is my go to sushi spot outside of traveling to NYC. For reference, I just went into NYC last weekend to a place for omakase, have brewed my own sake, and have traveled and tried plenty of sushi places (far more expensive) via the company credit card. The fish quality here is easily on par with most places 50% more expensive. The "dinner for two" style options are a good deal and it is BYOB if you want to bring wine or sake (which I do generally when I go). The service is incredibly friendly, actually even as an introvert I am tempted to try to strike up a conversation with Mr. Bin as he seems like a cool guy, perhaps next time I will offer him a drink. Anyway, long story short, this is the best sushi spot in the area and is worth going to 100% if you are feeling sushi. Only demerit is they should be more clear on what comes with a salad as I've ordered a second salad before, and that they always offer the oysters which IMO sound expensive (I get 1$ fresh oysters when I'm in florida). But overall this is a solid five star suggestion for sushi in the area.“

Tbh I was surprised how this was in Newark cause the outside for a sec can make u think the shop is abandoned yet once you go inside you smell what’s been cooking. The price is definitely right ($13) and I am happy a plate of DELICIOUS and savory ramen isn’t overpriced like other places. I enjoy coming here as it’s very fulfilling. “A nice little gem tucked away in the APA hotel. If you have a craving for Japanese food, this spot is it. (They had Fried Aji on their daily special the day I went ) I got their Salmon Ikura Don, Botan Ebi and Otoro a la carte, and their Black Sesame Panna Cotta. Food was pretty good, better than any Japanese restaurant in the main Edison area, but there are some little things to nitpick at. Some of the salmon was still slightly frozen (I went during lunch on a Tuesday), and I didn't realize some of the salmon would be slightly grilled. Thought it'd be all sashimi but that's my fault for not asking. I do wish that the veggies in the don came as a side salad instead of in the don itself. I feel like the veggies messed up the Salmon Ikura flavor profile a bit. The a la carte sushi were great! So delicious, but the Botan shrimp head came way after the botan shrimp body. Maybe their kitchen was busy, it's not really a big deal for me but I can imagine it might not be ideal for other customers. The Black Sesame Panna Cotta was not too sweet but I do wish the black sesame profile was a little bit stronger. Again, just me being nitpicky, I would definitely order it again! I will have to go back to try more of their menu items because they do have a wide selection of stuff I haven't seen elsewhere in Edison. Their service was impeccable. Something a really upscale place would have!“

“Been here for lunch many times and really enjoy it. First time for dinner, and while the food was spectacular, service was a little off. First the place was packed, so factor that, but still shouldn't wait 20 minutes to have your BYOB wine opened. Took another 20 before order was taken, and then entrees arrived 3 minutes after appetizers. Took another 20 after we were done to order coffee and dessert. They brought the coffee, then nothing until the waitress comes over with check. I asked about the desserts we ordered and she was clueless. They did try to make it right by giving us some sambuca and the desserts we ordered to go, no charge. So they tried. All in all I'll be back. The food is worth it and maybe this was just too much for a new waitress. But I may stick with lunchtime.“
“I've come here abt 6 times so far and I've never had a bad food experience. I've had sushi from a lot of other AYCE, all you can eat, sushi places and I think this one is the best in terms of quality and variety. It's about $30 per person.The fish here tastes fresh and NOT watered down like other places I've been to. The miso soup always tastes good and fresh, it doesn't taste artificial and sweet like other places.The special rolls are a little questionable, there are a lot of special rolls that aren't my type and extremely filling but I like the sashimi and regular rolls. I love the salmon from here, so I always get salmon sashimi and Alaska rolls.They also have other foods available in their AYCE like shumai, sesame chicken, lo mein, and calamari, takoyaki, etc. Most of their non-sushi items are good too.ONE THING TO NOTE, if you come here with a party of 5 or more, you will be charged a 15% service fee. Coming here with 4 people or less is worth it when they all eat their money's worth.“
“This place is pretty new and sits in a plaza with a parking lot and a few other food options so the location is great (unless you're indecisive on what to eat). I've never actually been inside, I've only ordered delivery, but it's been a 10/10 each time. They prepare everything so quickly that I usually get my order delivered in 20 mins which is insane! They also honor your requests - like for an extra couple dollars you can order extra chicken and they really give you EXTRA chicken (I mean look at the pic). I also asked for hot sauce on the side and I wish I would've taken a pic of how much they gave me. They were like oh you want hot sauce??? YOU GOT IT. Hot sauce for days. As for the food, it's exactly what you'd expect from one of these spots. Flavorful, juicy teriyaki chicken with some nice veggies on the side. The rice always tastes fresh and the portion is perfect. I've ordered other items a few times like their shrimp tempura roll and their dumplings. They're delish too but I would definitely say the chicken is the star of the show for me. Overall this place is consistent, quick, good value, and delicious so I will keep on ordering. Yum!!“

The lunch box is a great deal too at around 14 bucks. The also have a lunch special where you can pick 2-3 regular rolls with soup and salad. We were able to find street parking out front but if you can't remember there is a public lot nearby.“

So, a nice place to get vegan sushi in Cranford.And if you go to NYC, I super highly recommend Beyond Sushi, a fully vegan restaurant offering “gourmet” sushi experience. Minds and taste buds of both vegans and non-vegans are guaranteed to be blown away. That would be a Michelin-star grade experience.“

They can swiftly resolve this issue by investing in fly traps. Additionally, receiving hot tea in a plastic cup raised safety concerns, as hot liquids can cause plastic to release harmful chemicals. The presentation is attractive; the burrito was packed in a lidded box that almost looked like a gift. It was packed full of vegetables and rice with very generous amounts of spicy and ahi tuna. They added just the right amount of dressing/sauce. I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. “Island Kosher is the BEST! The owner personally helps scan and bag items, thanks customers for their service, and always makes sure the customers are happy one way or another. You can’t find that anywhere else in NYC. The owners bring Israeli flair and brotherhood to the environment. The store is super clean, bright, and they have the most colorful and beautiful produce section. Everything is tasty and freshly stacked because there is so much turnover. The prime meat is my favorite part. Island Kosher is reminiscent of Breadberry but slightly less expensive and a smaller mom and pop version of it. The hours are also so convenient. Driving to Brooklyn for kosher markets was a normal regular thing. Now I can just drive up the block whenever I need to get what I want. This store is 5 stars, may it be blessed to stay open for the long run!“

“I always get shwarma on a laffa here. It is very fresh and tastes great. The food is wonderful, but the people are even better. Last week, I was craving shwarma, so I placed an online order. I work as a paramedic, and we got busy, so I didn't make it to the restaurant until about 5 minutes to closing. That is when I realized I left my wallet back at the station. The guy who was there (I feel terrible that I didn't catch his name) told me it was fine and told me to take the food for free this time. I told him I would come back and pay the next day (which I did), but he was so super sweet about the whole situation. It was a tough night, and his kindness really made my evening.
