A good place to come later at night after my work shift, looking for healthier vegetarian food.Recently they had Maine Brewing Co Little Whaleboat on tap, and where there is a Maine beer on tap, you'll see me lol. “Came here for a business dinner. It was really an amazing experience. This place is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. It's a tapas style tasting menu so they just bring you out like a dozen different dishes. The portions were perfect and everything was cooked to perfection. The ambiance is really nice and although the space is small it's not loud at all. I thought the waiter was also very nice professional and knowledgeable. This is definitely a high end place that is worth a visit. This may be one of the best restaurants in Philly.“

“Hershel's East Side Deli is located near the center of the Reading Terminal Market, and was quite busy when I went, although it was Saturday around lunch time so that's to be expected. Great service across the board, was met with a smile by everyone I interacted with despite the crowds. Getting to the main attraction, the pastrami sandwich is out-of-this-world delicious. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I originally thought the price ($17) was a bit much, but it is well worth it for the experience and the portion size was so large I easily made two full meals out of it.“

“My boyfriend and I had stopped for lunch and explained to the woman at the front it was our first time and she came around and explained the whole menu to us. She was very helpful and polite explaining everything, food was ready fast. They even gave us a couple cookies and some free sandwich cards for the next time we visit their location since it had been our first time there. Overall great experience. “Friends dinner out on a rainy Saturday. Our Mr first time to Noir since the Pandemic. It's even better than we remembered. Same comfortable, relaxed, neighborhoods atmosphere. Same warm and welcoming service. And the food is inspired. Particularly good: broccoli rabe with sausage and beans starter, arancini, gnocchi in mushroom gravy, short rib, and (amazing) spaghetti with crab sauce. Desserts were fresh and especially tasty. “This place is an absolute gem. This bistro is family operated and we felt like family being there. Their daughter Holly even made a point to come over and introduce herself to our baby daughter. It was so hard to make a decision on what we wanted to eat due to everything sounding so wonderful. We went with “the rooster” and “the hot and honey” and with the baked brie. These were all a hit! “We've been here a couple of times or about twice a year usually. We were told by the waitress that the menu has changed for avocado toast. We don't eat it at all anyways but did see a change with some drinks.The cafe is lively , seems like the kitchen adds a lot of background noise.The food is great. I had the rhubarb French toast and it wasn't astoundingly sweet, pretty tasty and just right with the texture of the toast and cream was a nice touch.I had the pistachio latte to go and was surprised that there was actual pistachio in it. “Stopped in after a doctor's appointment to grab some breakfast. It's easy to walk by the place and not realize it's there. The service was slow but friendly. They have a really nice seating area upstairs. Lots of sun and artwork. I had a toffee nut latte which was disappointing. The espresso was burned and the latte didn't have much flavor. The bagel sandwich on the otherhand was delicious! A nice soft everything bagel with real egg and sausage. Very tasty. I will probably try it again at some point to give the coffee another shot.“

The chicken satay was delicious! Four skewers so a really good portion. The pho was also a giant portion. Personally didn't like the filet as choice of cut, it was cooked and tasted fine but felt like a burger in my Pho. I'm not familiar with beef much but I think a thin type cut would be good.“

They have a great salad bar with just about everything you could want on your salad plus macaroni salad, potato salad, pasta salad, just to name a few.
