“From out of town, stayed in the area and tried it one evening. Customer service was top-notch! I was expecting a place where you order at the counter and that is the end of the interaction with staff, but they came to our table multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was awesome and you get so much for the price. I ordered the BBQ wings and my bf ordered the picanha steak and they were both great. Definitely recommend.“

“Small place ran by a lovely couple with all the signature classic Romanian dishes! This place is a complete hidden gem! The eggplant salad starter is just like my grandmother and mother make, the meats are excellent - portion sizes are huge and everything tastes like a solid Romanian place on my visits to Romania. The star today was the Papanasi - a classic Romanian cheese donut! One of the best I had ever! Highly recommended! Will definitely come again!“

“First off, I was met with by a staff member in a cowboy hat (LOVE!) The booth was so soft and comfy and the table stands are ornate. I had the short rib and the meat was fall off the bone delicious! It was so tender and the sides were so plentiful and delicious. Each side had something a little different to pair well with the meat; sweet, salty, savory! I also had the shik Karak which was a delicious tea and for dessert, I had a banana crepe drizzled in chocolate. They do have a flair with food and I will definitely be back here!“

“This is hands down the best charcoal-style Chinese BBQ skewer spot in the U.S.! We’ve been multiple times and it never disappoints. The meats are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the service is consistently excellent.

Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s a small inconvenience for such an amazing dining experience—it doesn’t affect my five-star rating at all. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

“I absolutely love Anytime Kitchen in Fort Lee! From the vibe to the service and, of course, the food—it’s all excellent.
I’ve tried several dishes here: Uni Buckwheat Noodles, Old-Fashioned Fried Chicken, Clam sujebi (수제비) , Spicy Seafood Stew, Beef Tartare, and Sweet Potato Fries. The Uni Buckwheat Noodles taste luxurious—perfect if you want a refreshing, pasta-like dish. The Old-Fashioned Fried Chicken takes a little time to cook, but it’s totally worth the wait—they even cut it for you! The Handmade Dumpling Soup is so 얼큰 and flavorful you might find yourself reaching for a whole bottle of soju, and their soups always come in very generous portions. The Spicy Seafood Stew is huge and packed with fresh seafood—it’s definitely worth the price. Sweet potatoe fries and beef tartare is a good option for side dishes. We got a service I think the name was seafood avocado but that was def would be a great side dish when drinking wine.
The service is excellent too. I dropped my fork once, and someone immediately brought me a new one—attentive service like that really makes a difference.
The vibe of the restaurant strikes a perfect balance between elegance and casual comfort. It’s great for a casual date, a team outing, or just a relaxed night out.
I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Anytime Kitchen to my friends. This place is a hidden gem that hits all the right notes!

“I am great fan of this place. My family and I order food from here when we feel like having some pull pork, briskets or ribs. I normally order the ribs and chicken combo which comes with two sides. The ribs are flavorful. I also like their pull pork sandwich .I occasionally order their beef chili. The owner Bruno and staff Santos and Carlos are very friendly and nice! I will definitely recommend this place if you crave for some barbeque and you are in the Edgewater area.“

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the host and the staff. Our server, Ana, was amazing — so attentive, mindful, and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered the Supermoon set (BBQ and Shabu), and everything was delicious and fresh. Even our 9-month-old daughter enjoyed the experience! Great food, great service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. “I’ve been going to this place for 20+ years. I wish the place would expand their dine in section. Also, with business should reinvent itself and accept credit payment. FYI, Not many people carry cash nowadays. On the other hand, food and service is great.“

“I just wanted to clarify myself to the worker in that restaurant especially the one in the front. We went at the restaurant today around 2pm. We went inside the restaurant and did not talk right away to let them know we were 2 customers, instead I stopped for a second and checked if we went to the right door. The worker in the front thought that we went in there to look for a guy and be with guy and do something. I just wanted to let that worker in the front know that we went there to eat and not to look for a guy. When we finished eating, that worker in the front got replaced with a young guy. I just don’t want the worker in there to think that we went there to look for a guy. We love to go to the church. Now a days, it is very important to do the right thing. We have a song in the church “choose the right.” Don’t judge the people by just physical appearance.
But other than that, the food was delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant.“

There is one thing I don’t like about this place their parking if for whatever reason you do not have or missed or can not used your phone to pay for the parking instead of a$6 parking space you’ll get a ticket from this private company the owner of this parking lot and they send you a $104 fee insanely high !! Taking advantage of the people and technically 3 times the fee of a larking ticket you’ll get from the Montclair police dept. Robbery for sure and taking advantage of the state to charge high fees. Be aware of people of the scam in this parking spot ..“
